Fantastic experience: So so good! The instructors are very calm and composed, accommodate to the students needs, and are very good with communicating! I really recommend Mrs Shaina and Mr Bruce, they are very very great teachers! Will recommend the school to my friends :)

Fantastic experience: This school is GREAT! Very organized and great instruction. Mr. Rich was a great teacher, but Ms. Carolyn was an even better driving instructor. I had her for all of my 6 drives and she gave helpful advice, was kind and so positive, and I learned so much from her. I highly recommend this school, especially after my friends and sibling had a bad experience at 9-11 in Lakewood.

Negative experience: They are horrible about returning emails, I have sent emails to staff several times with no response. I have gone in in person and called trying to get a discount applied and it has been 2 months!!!!

Fantastic experience: I used to just practice driving with my fiancé and brother but I had bad experiences with both because I could sense that they get frustrated with me whenever I make small mistakes. They tried to refer me going to a driving school but I refused for a long time because I am a huge introvert and the thought of learning to drive with strangers seems scary but I was proven wrong. Huge shoutout to Ms. Carolyn for being incredibly patient and supportive. I had learned a lot from her and made driving not so scary. I mean I was still kind of nervous when it was the day of my skills test but I still passed. If I can do it, anybody else can do it too. You won’t know unless you try! Should totally go here though if you guys get scared of the thought of driving. They make it really really less intimidating for you. Thank you to all of the staff of Olympic Driving School of Lacey!

Positive experience: I did my driving lessons here and it was a good experience. The staff was kind and helpful and the building was clean and orderly. I recommend Shaina and Carolyn, they were very nice and patient while still being good teachers. The lessons were 2 hour long sideshows each lesson. The more negative things, there were two instructors that would grab my wheel, gear shift, etc. while I was driving (for no apparent reason/emergency) and it was more stressful then anything and uneeded, the instructor that did this the worst was Rich and I would not let him be my teacher again, he would grab the wheel and move it forcefully, another less serious thing was the difficulty of communication, information online was a bit confusing and many people had to ask questions constantly. But beside that I recommend this driving school, it was easy, informative, and for the most part fun/entertaining.

Positive experience: It's a standard driving school. Had to take the road test a few times before I passed with Carolyn Toliver as my instructor; she is wonderful. I gave 4 stars for the school, but I'd give 5 stars to Carolyn.

Fantastic experience: My son has been going to these classes for like a month now and the people who work there are so nice and helpful that he is excited to go to class and go on drives. I think that’s a huge deal when you’re a 15 year old kid first learning to drive. Having everyone be kind is really encouraging!

Fantastic experience: Took my third and final test at the lacey location after the last couple tries at the olympia location. I had carolyn as my instructor and she was so sweet and patient. She made my experience much more comfortable and it felt easy to ask her about anything before and after the exam. I am so happy I passed and i appreciate carolyn for being as clear, friendly, and patient as one can be :)

I did my private lessons with the instructor Mr.David Montano who was very kind.He makes you feel comfortable and confident while learning driving.He took the time to explain every thing clearly. Fantastic experience: I was searching for a Driving school to take my Driving license and I came to the right place… All the staffs that Ive talk to over the phone while scheduling my appointment were very helpful… At the time of my actual test I was so nervous but the calmness of my Instructor Ms Shaina Parker , made me feel comfortable. I never thought I would learn parallel parking and Backing around the corner in just 30 minutes, but she has her techniques and she did thought it to me… When she said that , as you turn we will start our test, I was not nervous anymore and I was able to follow all her instructions and I did Passed on my first try. Highly recommended Driving school, by the way this is the third that I have been so I can give comparisons…

I was super clear that I was nervous for my skills test and they took the time to talk through everything with me, made sure I understood everything correctly, and the 30 minute drive before the test was a literal lifesaver. I cannot recommend this place enough, especially for people who are nervous or have had their permit a while and potentially have picked up some bad habits while driving. <3

Fantastic experience: Very informative with the classes. I was able to learn a lot of things while taking the classes, and with the drives, they were nice, took about 30 mins each drive, and allowed me to learn more on the road

Fantastic experience: I did not pass on my first try at the Olympia location with a different highly rated examiner on my first attempt in their vehicle with the 30 min practice and then skills test. I came back 2 months later and passed at the Lacey location with a new examiner using my own vehicle. Carolyn Toliver was the examiner who made me feel comfortable and helped me feel confident enough to pass my skills test. I was very anxious as I had not been enrolled in drivers ed since high-school. I recommend anyone not taking drivers ed here to make sure they're familiar with the area a bit before taking the skills test. I recommend making sure you know what will be on the test and using your personal vehicle if you can.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Olympic driving school lacey. My instructor was Caroline. She is kind, polite, and good teacher. Because of her I learnt my driving and passed the test. Before joining here I have zero idea about driving. If anyone is interested to learn driving , I prefer Caroline she will encourage and make you feel more confident ..from the bottom of my heart am saying when am driving with her ..I don't feel like am a student driver...She is a perfect skilled teacher.. I highly recommend Caroline mam and this school for your driving classes

Fantastic experience: First, we live in Tacoma .. so not close to this school. On Feb 24 my son had an appointment at a driving school in Tacoma at 9 am .. it takes a lot for him to have time to do these things as he works and goes to school. The lady did not show up. I called every driving school in a 30 mile radius and the ONLY one that could fit us in the same day was Olympic Driving School at their Olympia location. I was thrilled. I paid on the phone and we headed to Olympia. When we arrived they looked over our documents and were very friendly. They got my son out and tested him while I hung out in the office with the awesome ladies behind the desk and the incredibly friendly labradoodle. I saw several students come in and loved the way they greeted them and chatted before going out. Everyone is very kind there. I could tell the students were comfortable and happy to be there. The instructor, Scott, made my son feel comfortable. My son passed but made a few errors, Scott went over his test with him in detail and gave him constructive criticism on what to work on in a very kind and professional way. He then told me if anything my son was being a bit too cautious. With his suggestions I see a marked improvement in confidence and maneuvers. When it’s time for my younger so to do his test we won’t even bother calling anywhere else. We will just book with Olympic and make the trip. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: If I could zero i would worst driving school..my son went in 2 times for driving test the lady failed him not even 5 min into the test and then for 3rd test was pushing for money for 3rd test..he does know how to drive she was just in to the money which sad ya suppose be helping..what really sad is he went to a different driving school and OMG passed the first try. Olympic driving school is the worst she was failing everyone even ones who did drivers Ed. This school in Olympia needs to be shut down and reported...

Negative experience: Recommended it to a friend because my wife got her license through them. She’s done 4 sessions with 4 different instructors. The last 2 were awful. Mean, rude. She was crying when I picked her up. Absolutely distraught. Not sure how you have 4 stars but the instructors are and Build no confidence into the students. At all. I will be contacting tomorrow and speak who ever the manager is. God awful.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience in Olympic Driving School of Lacey! So, I came into the US over a month ago. Took and passed my written test on my 4th week, and straight away booked my 5-hour private driving lessons. I had Ms. Cools as my instructor all throughout and she’s very calm, kind, reassuring and indeed really helpful. I told her on Tuesday (2nd hour of my driving lessons) that I need to take my actual driving test at the end of my 5 hour lesson which is on a Friday. I know it was pretty soon and seems to be a shot to the moon but Ms. Cools did not just taught me everything I needed to pass the test but she also shared tips on how to be a safe driver - very efficient and effective indeed! Straight after my last lesson with Ms. Cools was my actual driving test with Ms. Tasha which is equally as calm and professional as Ms. Cools. After doing the test I was told by Ms. Tasha that I passed, and she showed me my results, parts where I missed and bits. I actually thought I got a pretty decent grade!! That same day I got my temporary driver’s license at DOL. All done in less than a week! Again, thanks and best regards to Ms. Cools and Ms. Tasha. More power to all of you in Lacey branch! I 200% highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We love Olympic Driving School! Our first child went through them when they first opened at their Olympia location and we couldn't have been more pleased! Our youngest was ready and we decided to use the Lacey location as it was closer to us but I have to say I really prefer the Olympia location, the entire staff there is just STELLAR!!! All that being said the MAIN reason for this review is to just RANT AND RAVE about Terri Reed! She was our daughter's behind the wheel instructor and let me tell you SHE WAS A LIFE SAVER! She was not only so friendly and kind to our daughter but she taught her so many AMAZING tips! She even taught me things!! She took a nervous driver to a confident driver with a tool belt full of tips and tricks for remembering all the details of driving! When our daughter passed we all did a happy dance in the parking lot! THANK YOU TERRI WE COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!!!! Since then we constantly tell everyone to go to Olympic Driving school (specifically the Olympia location) and request Terri Reed as your instructor!!! A+++++

Fantastic experience: This is a very great school with patient and kind instructors. Before I took classes with them, I crashed my car about 529 times. One time there was this tank on the road driving in the oncoming traffic lanes and ran my car over. Thankfully I learned how to drive my way out of those situations because Amanda taught me how to. 5 stars would recommend

Negative experience: DO NOT come here for the drive test I got set up from the get go because the driver instructor was already having a bad day and decided to carry that into my drive test and failed me before I could even get out of the parking lot because he felt unsafe when there was NO CARS AROUND ME and I wasn’t ANYWHERE CLOSE TO hitting any cars and then he told me to park back and he said it with such attitude it was a huge waste of $75 and I scheduled my drive for 2pm today and they said they “lost” my place and give it to someone else I HAD TO WAIT A WHOLE HOUR to take my test so DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY WAISTED!!!

Estas tres cualidades son posibles si vienes bien preparado, de lo contrario puede ser diferente sensación para ti, pero no por culpa del staff o de las pruebas sino tuya. Hay que estudiar!!! Olympic Driving School has the capability to patiently teach new students in order to attain their requirements. With their friendly, knowledgeable employees, and dedicated excellence to their duty. My daughter had the extraordinary experience with their team. We highly recommend this team in Lacey for their patience, Charisma and overall talent to help young future drivers. Fantastic experience: My daughter attended the online classes. Chris was amazing! He did so well. We even told him that we’d be out of state and possibly lose service while driving on the road and he understood. He helped my daughter after that class with the first few slides that she missed since we were in an area with very spotty service. I was thankful for that because I know he didn’t have to. And for Tasha, we both absolutely enjoyed her company. She has lots to talk about and very friendly. My daughter was always looking forward to having her drive lessons with Tasha. And Stephanie was amazing. Very friendly and when I had questions she had the answers. (Same as Tasha.) Also patient with me. Lol The entire staff that we have seen and met was fantastic! I would recommend this driving school to anyone! From beginning to end. You will get a very friendly, professional, relaxed, feel like you are welcomed there. Type of atmosphere. And that is how it should be. My daughter even said she was super happy that we chose this one. She wouldn’t have it any other way.

Fantastic experience: My son had Chris as an instructor for online classes. I cant say how appreciated he is by us. He is kind, shows compassion and takes time for every student. I was worried about the difficulty of class being online but he truly helps every student excel and breeze through it. All of the staff have been nothing but helpful with every question I have had. I definitely recommended this driving school!!!

Fantastic experience: After getting a traffic infraction, I had to take both the written and driving test in order to reinstate my license. I was embarrassed. At my age I have to take the driving tests? The staff at Olympic Driving assured me they have many customers like myself. They told me the tests weren't difficult. Consequently, I passed both exams on the first try. I am extremely grateful for the staff at the Lacey Olympic Driving School.

Fantastic experience: My son took lessons with Tasha and many of the other professionals here prior to them moving to this new location (he learned at the West Oly location - also great) and couldn’t say enough nice things about how they made learning to drive comfortable and low stress. When there was an opening at this location for a test sooner, we took it, not realizing how many familiar faces he’d see! Ironically he took the test with someone he’d never driven with before but he felt welcome and relaxed, and came back smiling and joking. That’s what a driving test should feel like - it’s all about skills, so don’t panic and don’t stress, just show what you can do and that you’ve met the standard. Thank you for a good experience. Negative experience: Searched for a different named driving school by specific name, and this business was shoved into my face by google. Not happy about the forced advertisement. Especially when I wasn't even searching for your business in the first place. If I wanted to use your services, I would have gone to your business directly. Edit: I don't even live within 30 miles of your location.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. Not clear on information or protocol. Receptionist walking around barefooted….employees walking through the testing room talking, gossiping about other employees and eating. Very difficult to concentrate on the test.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best driving school! I've used both Olympic & 911. Here is why Olympic is better: They sincerely care about building confidence in your teen & learning to drive; they provide superior service - so smooth, organized, excellent communication and follow through. My experience with 911 was a driving instructor named Craig who liked to pull over and yell at my son resulting in an unlicensed and nervous kid.

Fantastic experience: Tasha is a wonderful instructor she is really good at what she does and Zara is a good receptionist with a great communication skills. Olympic Driving School is the right path for your Driving License.

The workers there are so kind and welcoming and the atmosphere is really nice as well. Tasha is such a wonderful instructor and when on drives with her she keeps the energy really calm and she explains things in an easy to understand way- nothing too complicated or stressful. Zara is also a really cool staff member, she's super friendly and having her greet me first thing when I would walk in would brighten my day instantly. She does a great job teaching (even with everything being online) and makes the in car lessons and examines really relaxing and easy. The owners, Scott and Ashley Jensen, have made drivers ed such an enjoyable experience. Would not have gotten my license if I hadn’t gone here!
