The staff was friendly and guided us through everything we needed to know and helped us with some of the paperwork that we didn't have correct. The communication about what was required and the notifications so we didn't forget were very helpful as well. After the driving test, they uploaded our docs for us and we had the paper license in a couple of days. Great experience and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Was scheduled for my test at 1:30pm. Arrived early at 12:50... They filled the form & I signed and here we go for the road test. $70, best price in the market. Was nervous... he instructed me to get inside the car and wait for his signals. 1st instruction was the horn,lol I pressed my horns and surprisingly it didn't work.. The master was like... Here you go you can't pass the road test if your car doesn't have a horn. Yes he was % correct. But but but they do have cars for the road test at the same price of the test ( no extra charges ) . He smiled and offered me the schools' car .... and I did my test again... passed my road test with their car. Best price Best Place, Get comfortable with your seatbelts. Drive smart drive safe

Fantastic experience: ***STOP looking elsewhere*** When my son turned 15 years old I began looking and resesrching all the driving schools around Flower Mound. I chose Drive Smart for several reasons. First, the program was online but still taught by a driving instuctor. Second, it was about $100 cheaper than other schools that offered less. Third, my son could actually take his written test to get his permit AND his road test to get his license all at the Drive Smart School with an instructor. The office staff in The Colony is fabulous! Very kind, very informative, and helped me to rest assured that my son had everything he needed to take to DPS when he completed what he needed to! My son enjoyed the classes and was extremely pleased with all his instructors. Driver passing rate is 90%! There is no reason to look anywhere else for a driving school for your child! You will not be displeased with Drive Smart!

Fantastic experience: My daughter went through the Drive Smart program at The Colony. She got excellent instruction and was encouraged by the driving instructors. She passed her driving test and is a confident driver thanks to them!

Negative experience: they never told i needed a parent taught certificate until the day i had to go up there myself and talk to them and found out i have to pay for another course. during the zoom calls i told them i was in parent taught and still no info on certificates or transferring and basically made me waste an entire day

Negative experience: Poor communication, they don’t know what they are talking about. Made a lot of mistakes on their end, refused to ever accept responsibility and kept blaming it on us, or the DPS. This place was great when Ms. Keys still owned it but now the service and willingness to help is not there. Find somewhere else

Negative experience: I am not sure how they get the 4.4 average stars. I registered my two girls to this place with high hopes after seeing the online review. I was totally disappointed with Driving School of North Texas when my son took the lesson there a few years back. It turns out Drive Smart is no better than Driving School of North Texas, they are so difficult to get drive time, it is like once a moth you can get a spot and today one of my girl got sick so my wife would like to reschedule for both girls, and it turns out over the phone she can only cancel the appointment and can not reschedule for both of them, we have to come into the office to do that. My wife end of cancelling the sick girl’s appointment and let the healthy one go to the class and try to reschedule later on. Their web site said they are open at 12 PM but my wife kept calling and nobody answer the phone until 1pm. Maybe all the driving school are like that Which accepting too many students than they can handle But this place definitely losing my business which I originally plan to shell out over a thousand dollars more to add more behind the wheel road classes e for the girls but now since they don’t like my money, I will go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: One of my friend suggested this school. The people were extremely friendly and supportive. My instructor Habib was awesome. He was very patient and gave a lot of tips on to drive safe. Anyone looking to learn driving I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Our son Michael who is almost 18 was struggling with parallel parking. Rodney and the staff at The Colony location is top notch. Very efficient and on time. The training vehicles are the right size to learn in and were super clean inside and out. Not only was our son taught properly how to parallel park but they also took the extra time to go over other factors that are important such as driving with others in the vehicle. Thank you all so much for helping us out so he can now go get his permanent driver's license.
