Negative experience: I had the unfortunate experience of meeting Domingo Montiero and he is the most pathetic and embarrassing excuse for a man I’ve ever met in my life. I don’t understand how this guy runs a driving school with the uncontrollable temper he has. He has harassed me and has no concept of respect or how to talk to other people whatsoever. I can’t imagine how this man must treat his students, but seeing as many have left very poor reviews for this driving school and multiple complaints about his vile behavior, I am not surprised. How are you going to teach others how to operate a vehicle when at your big age you can’t even handle your emotions properly? I’d highly suggest he consults with a psychiatrist about his belligerent behavior and knock his ego down many notches considering he’s worth less than nothing. Absolutely sick. Is a person of this character who you would trust to teach you how to drive?

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars this driving school I would anyone that is considering going to driving school do not I repeat do not go to this school !He is a thief that stole $700 from me and I only had one lesson .when I was going to do the second lesson he said new drivers don’t drive in the rain. I asked him for my money back and I have not heard from him since this was in July .. he is a con artist and a thief . Anyone that take somebody’s money it doesn’t deliver any kind of service shouldn’t be in business

Negative experience: DO NOT DO IT!! This driving school or instructor/owner is the worst!!! He takes your money and runs!! You can never get a lesson, the car is old and he is very unprofessional!! DO NOT DO IT!!

Negative experience: THIS IS A MAJOR WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS SCHOOL! DO NOT GO! Any good reviews this man ever had should be disregarded after the year of 2020. He is abrasive, rude, and unprofessional. He constantly blames the student as if you are supposed to know how to drive perfectly by the time you get to him. Whenever you ask for specifics on how to do something he acts like you are asking the world of him and sighs loudly. His constant rude sarcastic remarks makes you feel insecure. He yells if you ask questions, and scheduling an appointment with him was like pulling teeth. For a guy so adamant about scheduling on his website he never likes following the times on there. MULTIPLE TIMES he has canceled under 24hr notice; leaving you annoyed since you probably could've done a bunch of things instead of waiting for his lame excuse of traffic stopping him from coming to pick you up. He is a money grabbing cheat. He constantly brags about being a cop like anyone cares and uses it as an excuse to show authority over you. The 30hr classroom portion wasn't even taught by him. It was a lady named Katy from a different driving school in Stoughton(probably way better than this one honestly), when Domingo did appear it was constant stories of his cop days; sharing his origin story of how he became a cop like he's batman or something. If this guy ever had pride in this driving school it certainly has disappeared. He honestly has probably given students stress from his demeanor and unprofessionalism; I certainly have. Please listen to other reviews talking about this. Do not look at the 4 star review and sign up. This is a BAD school. And Domingo is a BAD man. I hope he cleans up his act or at least transfers the main ownership to someone else who cares unlike him. If either are not a choice I hope he soon shuts down. Other students should not have to deal with the childish antics of some 60 year man.

Negative experience: First off I want to say that SchoolOfWheels is a scam. I would put 0 zero stars but I cannot. My father payed about 700 dollars just for me to get about 12 of my driving hours canceled and only getting 2 done which were horrible experiences. Mr. Monterio is very rude and disgusting. This man acted as if he didn’t want to be there at my first driving hour. I barely knew how to drive and all he did was scream at me what to do. My father knows more about driving than him and takes his time unlike Mr Monterio brags about pilot license and all the other licenses you have. He bragged about his five star rating which is a total lie. He disrespected African culture which I was very shocked about coming from another black man. My father told me that in life you are going to meet rude people and Mr Monterio is on top of that list. I told my father about the driving hour where Mr. Monterio disrespected me and my culture. I complained to my dad how I didn’t want to go on a driving hour with him again. I wanted to get my license to make my mom's life easier. But the fact that I was scared and worried about even scheduling another driving hour with this man is sad. It shows something. People don’t waste your time at this Driving School. I’m telling you from experience. The way he acts towards his students is horrible. The Driving School car itself is horrid and foul. You can barely drive the car because of its horrible condition. The inside is shocking also. I tried getting my license at the age of 17 in 2021 and this was in the summer. Because of his horrible lessons and incompetence I had to transfer to Savanna Driving School in Brockton which is an amazing school that I’ll gladly recommend everyone too. It has been a year plus since I’ve been at Savanna Driving School and I’ve recently passed my road test on my birthday thanks to Savanna and my father. But no thanks to DrivingSchoolOfWheels and Mr. Monterio. I cannot stress this enough, if you want to learn how to drive, don’t go to DrivingSchoolOfWheels. Thank you and God Bless.

Fantastic experience: Domingo is fantastic! I was originally with another driving school, and my instructor did two lessons, then I was going to have another lesson four months later with that school. That was going to be way too long for me to wait Then, I found School of Wheels. Domingo is the best driving instructor! He was patient, calm, helpful, and when I was anxious, he walked me through what was making me anxious, and made me feel very comfortable and confident. He impressed me with his knowledge and he really cares about his students and helping them do their best. Eventually, I got my license, and Domingo was there every step of the way. I highly recommend School of Wheels! Thank you so much Domingo! It was a pleasure meeting you!

Negative experience: If you pay for this you’ll be paying for your driving hours to be rescheduled multiple times for no reason, your time and money wasted for months just don’t do it.

Fantastic experience: Extremely pleased with School of Wheels!!! I felt much more confident behind the Wheel and greatly improved my driving skills. Don't waste money and time somewhere else !! I was a first with Parkway driving school, after failing the exam and the owner being so unprofessional and rude I was very nervous to try again , but Mr Montiero was amazing!! Very patient, understanding, professional and good motivator.He always showed up early for my lessons and was a great instructor . I learned quickly and had no problem passing the exam .The school not only teaches safe driving but also gives good tips for passing the exam.

Negative experience: The instructor was very aggressive and extremely mean towards me. I have very bad PTSD due to being in two car accidents and he yelled and berating me the three lessons that we had. He was not understanding of the fact that I had no other way to train outside of lessons and he continued to berate and yell at me. It became a very uncomfortable experience that I ended up not working with him again. Please do not hire him if you struggle with PTSD or even aren’t comfortable with constant yelling in your ear while trying to learn. He also violated Covid Mask protocols he never wore a mask during lessons. Overall if I could give him zero stars I would, very toxic towards myself even after explaining the PTSD. Avoid this business at all cost it will save you the $700.

Negative experience: “WARNING PLEASE READ!”0 stars out of 4.Does not put his customers first or make them a priority. Lack of professionalism was apparent from the beginning. Specifically when requesting proper scheduling of classes. Not attentive. Completed 2 classes after much difficulty in connecting via phone to schedule. Very condescending and not really capable of educating me on how to drive or make me better. As a teacher you must put your students first and understand some students learn and respond differently to coaching.I was not satisfied with the experience so I requested a refund. Informed me it would take up to 30 days and provided him with an extra 3 days before contacting him. Apologized for the delay and asked for my information to begin processing (did not ask at initial refund request). Also highlighted fees and charges instead of doing what’s right for the customer. Very bad business practices are apparent when it is not a good fit for the student and the instructor. Many companies still treat their customers with respect and this would give us the opportunity to still recommend however I highly recommend this place should go out of business and will use these outlets to warn customers that if he does not like you he will simply take your money.” Go to JMC in Waltham instead they provide better service and treat their customers with respect.

Negative experience: Pathetic service! Did not give proper driving lessons. After paying more than $700 What I get is inappropriate behavior, no proper driving lessons, booking a road test without my consent. I FEEL BEING SCAMMED! When I call him he says don’t call me! I failed my driving class once because of his irresponsibility in driving lessons. Not completed my driving lessons even after full payment of money!

Fantastic experience: Mr.Montiero (Domingo) develops you into being the best driver you can be. He knows the rules and regulations of the road very well and instills the rules and regulations into his students very well. I am a testimony to this, I took my drivers test and although I was nervous I knew I was set up for success because he is truly phenomenal at what he does. Thank you School of Wheels!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Montiero is truly an amazing instructor! He exceeded all of my expectations, especially as a former anxious learner. Prior to enrolling in School of Wheels, I had taken a couple of driving lessons with a different driving school. I basically could not manage to turn a car properly, in which I'd always freak out and call out for assistance with the turn (I had really bad driving anxiety). It's mind blowing that half the things Mr. Monteiro taught me, I do not learn from my previous driving school/instructor. Mr. Montiero's methods and teachings are definitely effective because after 3-4 lessons I got the hang of turning correctly as well as being able to implement the proper technique to do so. Mr. Montiero was so patient, and I appreciate how he pushed me to not only be a safe driver, but also a knowledgeable one. As a result, I passed the road test on my first try. Thank you, Mr. M!

Fantastic experience: I was not the typical student.  I was in my late 30's and already had a driver's license.  I came to School of Wheels because I had limited driving experience.  I was also involved in a car accident years prior.  Clearly I needed to work on my driving skills, and my confidence!  Domingo was a fantastic teacher.  He was calm, encouraging, flexible, and patient.  He also had high expectations, which made me work harder.  Since I already had my licence, Domingo would devote each lesson to a specific area.  For example, we would do a session on highway driving, a session on driving in reverse, a session on parking, etc.  Domingo was so helpful to me.  I am a better driver now, and much more confident.   I would highly recommend School of Wheels to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Simply one of the best out there. Domingo is patient and builds up your confidence driving. Part of the battle for me is not being anxious in the car. After 6 lessons with him, I feel like driving is therapeutic. I really appreciate him coaching me and building up my confidence. I now bought a new car and look forward to driving!

Fantastic experience: Mr. M was so helpful and really pushed for me to succeed! When I didn’t believe in myself, he made sure to express his support, and made sure that I believed in myself. Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed being taught by the School of Wheels. Domingo was a great instructor. I am 40 years old and had never spent any significant time driving. I was so scared the first time I sat behind the wheel. Domingo helped assure me that I'm going to do well. We began driving around neighborhoods with less traffic, and slowly advanced to busier streets and neighborhoods in Dedham and the surrounding areas. I appreciated his calm nature, patience and professionalism. The School of Wheels did a great job with classroom and real time driving instructions. I passed the road test on my first attempt and I'm very happy I chose School of Wheels to teach me!

Fantastic experience: I just passed my driver’s test about an hour ago and I had to run to leave this review. I took 6 lessons with another instructor and learned absolutely nothing. I ended up failing twice. Domingo promised me he could have me done in 4 lessons and he delivered in his promise. I learned more in just one class than I learned in 6. If you listen to what he says and you are open to criticism you will have no problems passing. He knows his stuff. He has some helpful tips and tricks to driving you won’t learn anywhere else. He really cares about your safety, not your money...

Fantastic experience: Mr. Montiero is a very patient, understanding and articulate instructor as well as a person. I was very terrified of driving in general when I initially began. He was able to not only teach me techniques, but push me to overcome my fear of driving. Even after I failed my first test, he encouraged me, still gave me lessons and was very patient throughout the process, until I passed. Now, I can say that I am a better as well as safer driver. The amount of money spent was very well worth it. I would definitely recommend him anytime.

Negative experience: Be honestly, I don't even want to give any star to this awful driving school. I don't like to give people a negative review but this school has tons of reason to be reviewed negatively. The instructor is rude and a liar. Canceled my classes multiple times. He never showed up on time and once canceled my class without notice in advance and he lied to me he did! I quit after a long tolerance with him with no refund! Be aware of this school!

Learned everything from road instruction to class instruction and even observing other students drive. Positive experience: My son did his Drivers Ed and he had an excellent experience. His instructor Domingo is knowledgeable with lots of practical experience. I sat in on one of the driving instructions and was impressed as Domingo emphasized safety and was firm but not overbearing. My son has his license now and I feel he drives well and safely thanks to the instruction and training.

Fantastic experience: Best driving school ever! I signed up for 12 hours of driving. Domingo and Bhano are always on time to the scheduled sessions and they are both great. I had more classes with Domingo and I learned a lot from him! My driving also improved a lot and now I feel confident behind the wheel. He even took me to the highway once and showed me how to safely drive on it. He also made sure to accommodate his schedule (including early morning Sunday lessons) so I could finish my classes as soon as possible, since I was in a rush to get my license. Thanks to them I passed my road test on the first try! If you are thinking about signing up, don't think twice this is the best place to learn how to drive (besides the great/affordable prices they have). Domingo is always in a great mood. Fantastic experience: I have taken classes with Domingo from School of Wheels. First of all, unlike other money minting driving schools, this school actually wants you to learn how to drive well in Boston. You may find it a little tough in the beginning but you get a good practice in and around west roxbury area, which is clearly a driving mess in Boston. Second, you get undivided attention of the instructor and a good prep session for the road test. Third, they have broad law enforcement experience that helps you understand best driving practices. Overall, totally worth it because you don't want to just pass a road test, you want to drive safely too.

Fantastic experience: School of Wheels, West Roxbury is a great school to learn the right set of instructions for driving. My driving instructor Mr. Monteiro had been helpful all throughout the process. He clearly told me my mistakes during the classes which helped me focus on right areas and clear my road test in one go. Unlike many other schools, I was always instructed by a single instructor all throughout. Also, Noteworthy to point that Mr. Monteiro accompanied me for the full 3 hours on the day of the road test and gave me the final tips before the test. This was really instrumental in facing the road test confidently and clear it in one go. Thanks School of Wheels!!!
