Fantastic experience: I had dawn as my instructor for all 4 and she was absolutely wonderful. she was patient and helped a lot with building confidence on the road. If your looking for an instructor dawns is my go to every time. passed my drivers test with 100%!
Negative experience: The instructor Joe Dixon was 30 minutes lates, made me “run errands” for him even though it was my first time driving on the road. Crashed into a pile of snow near the gas station. Got talked down too. Cried due to anxiety. Was supposed to have another session I never went back. Worst experience I recommend safepass.

Negative experience: Not a great experience with our son! The in class experience is very dated. They use VHS tapes. The in car instructor showed up to the wrong address for a 6a session and we advised that we would not be able to wait. We then received a charge for “no show”. During the eventual first session the instructor told our son that he “should known how to do basic things like maneuverability already”. How?! Our son was in a car accident during his second in car experience and the instructor did not speak to us about it until this day. Thankfully our child communicated it with us. Fast forward to the drivers exam, we are at the BMV and was they advised that we needed a certificate from the school. After calling the school. we find out that our son was supposed to call after his in car to “verify” his information in order to get the certificate and that “he was told in class as well as it is on the website”. Most 16 years can’t remember things like this months later and after combing the website I finally found where it was listed. No one has time to review an entire website! That should have been overly communicated. Then, when we get to purchase his drivers license, they asked for an affidavit of his driving hours that we were supposed to get from the school. Of course, we did not get that from the school and had to pay for it at the BMV, which was extra. Do better on instructions and communicate accidents with caregivers!!
Thank you for letting us know about your experience with our teacher.We encourage feedback to help us provide a better service.It is true that we do use some excellent VHS tapes that are not available on DVD.While it is true that our driver had trouble finding your address the first time we not charge you a no show fee. You are correct, during one of your son's lessons a vehicle did bump the training vehicle in the back at a red light.The other drivers foot slipped off the brake and it rolled forward and bumped us.The police were called and the other driver was issued a ticket.We sustained only some scrapes to our bumper. No one was hurt.Our instructors are required to report all incidents and he did but should have stopped to inform you directly.
Sorry for your inconvenience at the testing station but we are surprised the state did not have the record of your son's certificate since they now have access to it.We do have each student call in to make sure all the information is correct before producing the state document. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.
Negative experience: ALERT!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are rude, condescending, aging bigots. They talk to people with absolutely no respect and have the audacity to attempt to cancel the remaining lessons if you speak up for yourself. They even lie in order to make themselves look better even after everyone heard the comments. It was not worth the humiliation of biting my tongue in order to get the service I had to pay for in advance. They don't deserve another dime from anyone

Negative experience: Please do not waste your money! I did 2 driving lessons. 1 was 2 hours, that was good. The other was 4 hours, that was a terrible. The instructor yelled at me the entire time, made stops, stayed at those stops for a long time and then they tell me all they can do is give me a 2 hour “free” lesson after I spent $380 for 4 hours. I recommend safe pass. This is company is a joke.
Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend heights driving, and more specifically my instructor Megan Berman. She helped my improve my driving skills a ton, and there wasn't a single awkward moment in all 4 of my sessions with her.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend the Mayfield driving school!!! They are friendly and helpful if you needed anything they’re there to help and they are very punctual!! they know their job that’s for sure well they would have to be in in that field!!! I’m so glad my physicians told me about them. There is always a way to learn to drive when you can’t use your feet or your legs, so give them a try if you need any assistance with driving!!! I give them well over the credits that they deserve! I would like to see thank you to Judy for scheduling and any questions I might head and to give me some information that I asked for and I would like to give a big thank you to Lynne for her time and patience with me by learning how to drive with hand controls very appreciate it. There should be more people out in this world like them. They were pleasant to be with from the start to the finish. Fantastic experience: My son just completed driving school here. I just have to say what a wonderful experience it was from start to finish. Any time I called the office with a question, someone was always so nice and helpful on the other end. A special thank you to my sons driving instructor, Margaret! She was the nicest most kindest person ever. She put my mind at ease every time she came to pick my son up for his in cars. She always went above and beyond answering my questions, and informing me what the next step would be. She helped my son alot, and he kearned alot from her. I'm so glad we ran in to her months ago and decided to go with her. My second child will be driving next year. We will definitely be going thru your school and requesting Margaret again. Thanks for everything!!
Fantastic experience: My experience was extremely positive beginning with my initial phone discussion with Judy (administration) detailing costs , scheduling evaluation with Lynne . When I arrived they were ready for me and Lynne and I were on the road almost immediately. Lynnne was very clear with her instructions and confidently and assuredly told me how to proceed. When the evaluation was complete Lynne reviewed her assessment and recommendations. I would highly recommend Heights Driving.

Fantastic experience: We used Heights Driving for my special needs daughter to learn how to drive. Carl was amazing and kind in teaching Kristin to drive and Judy was great with scheduling all out in car lessons.

Negative experience: Thier office was wonderful to work with. They helped me get all the in cars scheduled and figure out the online platform. However, thier instructor did not show up or call us for my sons first in car. We sat in the parking lot for 30 min with no way to contact anyone because thier office was closed and we did not receive any contact information for the instructor prior to the in car.
Fantastic experience: Heights Driving did an excellent job training me for the Bi-Optic program for drivers with low vision. They were flexible with my schedule and worked quickly to complete the required hours to attempt my driving test. And most importantly prepared me with the knowledge and skills required to pass on the first attempt!

Fantastic experience: My son enjoyed classes but said he learned a lot from in cars instructor Frank P. He gave him a lot of great tips and taught him things I missed when teaching him.
Negative experience: Joe Dixon should not be an instructor here! Do not let your kids get in a car with this guy. He does not take them to safe driving areas and he runs his own errands cutting into instruction time. My sons appointment was from 5:15pm to 7:15pm. He did not arrive back until 9:00pm. I was worried where my son was and I called 3 times and Joe said he was 10 min away. 45 minutes later I videoed them pulling in. My son said he made 4 stops during the drive. Popeyes, Chipotle, CVS, and Huntington bank to get some money out. I even have the stops on my sons life 360 app. Ridiculous that they allow this to happen. I asked Joe when he came back why so late he did not have any answers. Schedule anybody but Joe Dixon please you will thank me! I don't ever right reviews but when something is so wrong and bad I just hope changes can occur for the better.
Negative experience: Joe Dixon was very rude and condescending. Was 30 minutes late. Didn’t teach me anything. Didn’t go back for my second in car drive because of it never got my money back.
Negative experience: I don’t recommend this company for a driver instructor position. The starting pay is $12.00. However, they want you to pass a physical, a background check, and take 24+ hours of driving instruction. Let me also add you have to take your driver’s test AGAIN and do a ride-a-long before being able to start ANY instruction. I can see why retirees apply for these jobs. Don’t waste your time.
Chasity is correct, those are all mandatory state requirements, in addition to what she mentioned, you must clear BCI and FBI background checks to become a licensed instructor. Pay is determined on level of experience. We wish Chasity success in her employment search.
Positive experience: If your teen is going through driving school at Heights Driving, DO NOT let them do any in car lessons with Joe Dixon. He had my daughter drive for 2 hours in a hot car with No AC. It was 95 degrees with a heat index of 105. He would not let her turn it on. She came come with heat exhaustion, her jeans soaked with sweat and her face could not have been more red. It's shameful. He already has horrible reviews and I'm adding to it. When I told the school, they called to let him know that was unacceptable....but he should have been dismissed.

Negative experience: I currently have two children enrolled with this driving school. I have spent over $900 and I am not able to schedule in cars to finish out the service. I have called and spoken to people in the office twice. I’m told that they will help in identifying in car times, but we never get anywhere. I signed my son up in May and it is now August and we have only completed one required in car. They force you to schedule through an online platform where availability is posted in the middle of the day, supposedly. Between myself, my husband, and my son we all try to log on at 3 o’clock l, despite being in the middle of our workday, in hopes to find an open session and there never is. I understand that Covid may have had an effect on their staffing availability as well, but then they should be reducing the number of children that they are enrolling in order to accommodate people and deliver the service promised. I would just like my money back.
We have reviewed your children's accounts. Your daughter didn't begin the classroom education program until 07/16/2021, & has only completed 2 of the 24 hours required. After 07/01/2021, the State of Ohio mandated students must compete all 24 hours of classroom education before they may even schedule in car driving sessions. Your son has completed the classroom requirements & 1 in car driving session. Would you please call the office at 440-449-3300 to discuss your son's availability for the remaining 3 driving sessions? We would be happy to work toward finding driving lessons for your son. Thank you

Negative experience: My daughter had a in car instructor Vicky Wade . She was HORRIBLE ! She gave my daughter a run around and kept scheduling in car with her and not showing up. She had a in car schedule for January 20th at 2:30 she never showed up until 4:30! At this point my daughter was at work. Vicky wade then send my daughter numerous message on how my daughter didn't show up for the in car even though she came 2 hours late and my daughter wasn't even home by the time she came. She was absolutely ridiculous and the most unprofessional person ever! I had to call height driving to get my daughter a new in car instructor. Vicky Wade should be DISGUSTED with the way have treated my daughter!
Negative experience: I enrolled in heights at the begin of December and schedule Zoom classes and in car. The online zoom instructor Mrs. McNeely was absolutely amazing! She is very clear with the lessons and very prompt with responding to email. However my in-car instructor Vicky Wade was the complete opposite! When I first called to schedule my in cars I had to text Vicky twice and call up to heights driving because Vicky wouldn’t respond to me.my first session I only drove with Vicky for 1 hour ( which you are not suppose to do). Whole time while driving she is texting her coworkers ask them to bring her paycheck. About a week or so after she was suppose to come to my house and never came. It was 5 days until I heard from her again. At this point I called heights driving to ask for a new instructor. I was told they would be in contact with me never heard anything back. Vicky Wade and I schedule more in car session, one in which was January 20th at 2:30 I have text message where we agreed on the 20th at 2:30. She never showed up. I text her at 2:10 and asked was she still coming she never responded. I went outside to see if she was out there, then called her at 2:30 she didn’t answer. She then send me multiple long paragraphs at *4:30* and say she not driving with me anymore because I didn’t come outside. I then screenshot the message between her and I were it was clearly states that she will be coming at 2:30 on the 20th. She ignores the message and continues to send me long paragraph. She is the worst with scheduling, timing, communicating, and basic common sense thing. Height driving should be ashamed for hiring somebody that as no idea how to do there job professionally. DO NOT schedule with VICKY WADE unless you want your time wasted !

She is an amazing women and I can’t express enough how she made me feel more comfortable to drive and the things she has taught me behind the wheel that I never knew that would help me become a better driver. Negative experience: My son went into their queue for behind the wheel lessons 10/2, was promised 4-6 weeks he'd be in behind the wheel lessons. After long holds on the phone (always at least 10 minutes), I was told on 11/9 there were still August drivers on the list who had yet to get lessons. Clearly, not the 4-6 weeks they promised. Also was promised a return phone call the week before....that never happened. Just poor service. I get that it's covid times and patience is necessary, but don't make promises you cannot fulfill. It's bad business. I hired another school and within one day of payment had his lessons scheduled. I requested a refund verbally and in writing, so assume that will happen (I hope).
Fantastic experience: I had Vicky for my behind the wheel driving portion and she will tell you if your wrong.. but she will make you a better and safer driver she’s loud but she’s nice and she is a good character who I enjoyed listening to and hearing about her tips on driving. Vicky knows what she’s talking about and she will take care of you. Thank you Vicky!!

Negative experience: My daughter paid over $300 for online driving school and is due for her in car instructions and it won’t let her schedule online and no one have been answering the phone for over a month now . Her temps are due to expire next month and we are just trying to complete this program
Negative experience: As of right now I am not happy with this place. You can never reach anyone, the phone just rings and then eventually gives you a busy signal. I scheduled my son's classes a month ago as instructed I have a whole month filled until he is complete with the program. He was late 2 minutes yesterday he and a few other students were standing outside and stated the instructor would not let them in because class was full. How when he is on the schedule to be in class, (per your new rule there is only 10 students) i think it is a waste of time to tell parents to schedule their student but you allow other students in that have not scheduled for that day.
Negative experience: They are happy to take the payment but do not have an interest in helping you get what you paid for. Takes hours of calls and emails just to get their attention. I'm sure they are making plenty of money and should consider investing in customer service. I never write reviews but their service was so bad I felt compelled to.

Positive experience: My daughter had 24 hours of classroom and she enjoyed it. She said the instructor would run the lecture and then they would talk about real life cases. She had a good time there. For the in-car lessons, it depends a lot on the instructor. Some are really good, some are okay. Overall is a nice place to send kids from driving Education. I recommend it. Ricardo Dec-18-2019

Fantastic experience: Heights driving school was amazing in the office and the in car instructor. Mr.piczzo was great and funny all they time but teaches you the most thanks for the experience I am now a license driver

Negative experience: After paying upfront they made us wait weeks to see available scheduling options. Then they post only a few available days in the middle of a school day for a 16 year old trying to get their license. Why they heck would you only offer options for the middle of the school day for a teenager? Complete waste of time. Now we have to get a refund and go elsewhere after waiting for weeks.
Fantastic experience: I took the 2 point credit class here on a Saturday. The instructor, Vicky, was wonderful. The class was informative, and a great refresher to the rules of the road. I also got an updated rules book for my own personal use, so that I may re-read all the current laws at my own pace and keep myself and others around me safe by driving properly and safely.

Negative experience: Horrible experience! Rude and incompetent. It's been 2 weeks since my daughter took the class and still have not received her certificate in the mail. Called several times to inquire only to have the rude receptionist tell us that she "did her part by putting a stamp on the envelope and handing it over to the post office. What happens after that is out of our control." Instead of providing good customer service, they'd rather charge us $15 to print another one. Don't waste your money here. Pure jerks! Update: 11/6/18 The owner's response to my review is not true. I had to file a complaint w/ the BBB to force them to give us the certificate without the additional fee. They NEVER mailed second certificate. I had to pick it up personally. To owner: if you mailed the second one with tracking, where is it because it never arrived at my house? I suggest you contact your local post office.
Ms. Tiffany's daughter finished our remedial course on Saturday May 19th. We mailed out her certificate on Monday May 21st. A few days later Ms. Tiffany called and complained that she did not receive the certificate. We mailed out another certificate with tracking the second time on May 24th. The post office tracking number states that it was delivered on Saturday May 26th. On May 29th, Ms. Tiffany once again called and stated that they did not receive her daughter’s certificate. At that time, we told her that she would have to pick it up at our office since we had twice mailed out the certificate. Both times we absorbed the fees from the State of Ohio to produce the certificates.
We wish Ms. Tiffany daughter the best on her test.

Fantastic experience: I do not know about other instructors but I did my road classes with Paul O brien and I am very happy with him. I just passed my test. I did the adult 6 hours class ( 4 hour classes and 2 hour BMV test). Paul was very informative and taught me very useful tricks needed for the maneuverability tests. It can seem like too much on day 1 but once you process it and follow exactly the instructions he gives you, you will pass maneuverability just like it is nothing.

Fantastic experience: My son just finished his 4 in-car sessions with Al at the Bedford driving location over 1 weeks time and enjoyed himself greatly. Al was absolutely the perfect gentleman for this type of job and experience. Al was patient and offered a great session. My son looked forward to his time with Al after the first session and my son wishes he can spend some more time with Al as he's bummed that he completed his training. I would highly highly recommend Al for teen that is looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and overall great driving instructor that will exhume driving confidence in your teen. Anna on the inside was a joy to work with and made things happen very quickly. I highly recommend Heights as I used them 30 years ago when i was a teen and now my son has completed his time there.
