The school is dedicated to helping students achieve their goal of securing a driver’s license or completing a certified driving improvement program through a comprehensive curriculum that includes Driver Improvement Classes (DIP), permit retake courses, behind-the-wheel training, and private lessons. All classes are approved by the DMV and courts, ensuring compliance and peace of mind for students.

What truly sets Drive This Way apart is the unique professional background of its leadership. The owner and instructors bring together over 50 years of experience in public and private education, 23 years in the insurance industry, and 7 years of direct experience in law enforcement. This powerful combination allows them to teach not just the rules of the road, but also the defensive driving techniques and risk assessment skills derived from real-world police investigation and insurance claims handling. They believe that effective driver education goes beyond reciting textbook information; it requires helping students overcome their fears to become safe, confident, and responsible drivers.

The school offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate busy lifestyles, with classroom sessions held on weekends and behind-the-wheel sessions available by appointment seven days a week. For those who prefer flexibility, online class testing and office consultations are also available by appointment. With a team led by experienced instructors like Ashby Owens and General Manager Drew Owens, Drive This Way ensures a personalized, hands-on learning environment. Whether you are a new driver, a teen needing preparation, or an adult looking to complete a court-ordered or insurance-mandated DIP class, this school provides the expertise and support needed for a successful driving experience.
