Fantastic experience: Awesome and quick experience. Considering the possible impacts to my insurance and dmv record, this was the cheapest and least painful option. Drew ran a tight ship, was funny and informative. No one necessarily wants to take a DIP course but Drew definitely made it enjoyable and if I ever found myself in need of another course, I’m definitely signing up with Drew and Drive This Way. Fantastic experience: It’s not as bad as it seems

Fantastic experience: Huge shout out to Drew! His teaching made the drivers improvement class as painless as possible and actually fun. This is my second time with drive this way and can confidently say that they are very much there for your driving needs.

Negative experience: I signed up for both online classes and behind the wheel a few months ago. Since i have completed the online part i have not been contacted and i have called multiple times trying to schedule my appointment but no one has called back like they said. At this point i just want a refund and i’ll go somewhere else and get my license.

Fantastic experience: Staff is awesome with our daughter. Prices aren't bad and folks there are patient with new drivers. They are helping a lot.

Positive experience: This place would rate 5 stars if they would just have someone in the office during expected weekday hours to handle customer service and communications. For the 1-day retake Learner's License certificate class, they get the job done. However, if you are paying for someone else, such as a minor or relative, and will not be there to pay at start of class (since I was not the student I did not log into their portal as a user), it is not easy to deal with them. Also, a man told me on the phone that the class could be paid for at the end prior to pickup of the student, then when I confirmed with email the office said no, not allowed, and no one was there at the office to take payment when I stopped by to pre-pay. However, someone did get back to me to take the card over the phone. They clearly have some things that are not ideal from a customer service standpoint, but they do seem to provide a good service if you don't have these kinds of customer service needs.

Fantastic experience: Had recently attended the DIPC on 04/06/24 and previously took a Behind The Wheel Class back in 2021. Knowing I had to take an improvement class by an order of the Courts I was sincerely dreading an 8 hour class which took place on Saturdays. However, with my previous experience with this company and location I decided to take my class through Drive This Way and I am happy I did. Drew made the class very seamless, as a person with Dissociative Amnesia (a mental disability on memory) I didn’t even have to ask for a single accommodation due to how easy he made the class. Because of his teaching methods, the class went by in a blink of an eye. I was even the first one to be finished with my test within 5 minutes. I recommend this location to anyone in need of DIP, no matter the reason of Court or the DMV. Thank you Drew for an easy Saturday!

Fantastic experience: If you have to go through this class this is the one to choose. The teacher was great, made sure we had all info we needed to pass, and that it was as enjoyable and QUICK as possible. I really ended up learning a lot as well. 10/10 would recommend

Negative experience: They don't deserve even portion of the star but it won't let me post unless I click a star. I paid deposit months ago around Dec., did not hear from them. I called number online said vm full them I drove by their office and door was locked so I called number posted on door but mailbox full. I finally got hold of somebody and she just took message. Finally somebody e-mailed me told me they can't put my son on schedule till April. I tried calling hoping they have cancellation and my son can do it sooner but nobody calling me back. I drove by their office and once again "nobody home" I called number on door and left message. I finally got e-mail a very ugly, nasty e-mail from Drew Owens. In bold red letters told me not to call their main line because the person don't know anything about scheduling I wanted to say nobody answer it anyway. The WORST part is the schedule he gave my son was opposite the availability of my son. What is the point of asking availability if they will not go by it anyway. I decided to cancel my reservation and asked if I can get refund "surprise surprise" nobody e-mailed me back.

Fantastic experience: let me start by not wasting your time with my story and just letting you know that if you have to take a Driver Improvement Clinic class there is no other choice besides DRIVE THIS WAY...from the time i quickly stood in line to register til the minute i reviewed my certificate this class paid for its self 10 fold...Drew Owens is an OUTSTANDING instructor that doesn't waste either your or his time getting to the point of why your there and the reason you need to pay attention to what he has to say in order to pass your exam at the end of the class!... EXCELLENT service EXCELLENT instructor . Thank you Drew for your expertise and your genuine desire to make us care about driving smart and safely!!!......5.1/5

Negative experience: I filled out the application online for my son AND SENT IN 300.00 - PAYPAL AND YALL HAVE YET TO GET BACK TO ME? I CALLED THE NUMBER BUT THE INBOX IS FULL SO I CAN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE. IVE BEEN TRYING TO CALL FOR THE LAST 3 HOURS AND NO ONE IS PICKING UP How am I supposed to answer you when I just called the number and you still DON'T answer ? I did the online application this past Weekend. And I sent in the money.

Negative experience: Beware and look for another company. Communication is terrible, schedules mean nothing. If you do use this company, stay at the location unless you are okay with your child being left alone, outside when lessons end 30+ minutes early. Also when you make every appointment, you may be told when they cancel that they will "add you to the make up pile". Not how customers should be treated.

Negative experience: If I could leave ZERO stars I would. I paid in full for the behind the wheel driver training services before being given a schedule, as required. The schedule was for four months in the future, which was discouraging for my teenager, who is patiently waiting to get her license. Unfortunately, two weeks before it was her turn we had an unexpected/unavoidable family situation that required us to have to reschedule a few of the days. I emailed them 2 weeks in advance, and was told I would have to reschedule the entire session and they would send me a new schedule. That was almost 6 weeks ago. I have left multiple messages (email and voicemail) asking for a new schedule or a refund of my money. All of which have been ignored. One day a very kind gentleman answered the phone and assured me that someone would email me a new schedule by that Friday and asked that if I didn’t to call back. I didn’t receive the email with the schedule, and no one has answered the phone since, or returned my voicemails or emails. IF I ever hear back I will update this review. ******* Thank you for your quick reply, while rescheduling has been an inconvenience, that was on us - as we are the ones who had to cancel a few days. My true frustration has come from the complete lack of communication. I am still very much interested in getting this scheduled if it can be done so rather quickly, if not I will need a refund. I have left many messages, my last one being this afternoon around 430pm. However, if you need my contact information just let me know. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I would like to apologize to drive this way. I was getting very frustrated about not having my classes yet, but then they emailed me that the money did not go through. So I checked my balance and sure enough the money did not go through so again I would like to apologize to drive this way, and if you have not gotten an email for your classes yet I would highly recommend checking your bank. Thank you drive this way for emailing me and letting me know.

Negative experience: Complete hot mess. Should have accepted the red flags in the beginning with the horrible communication. My brother used the lynchburg office paid 295.00 for behind wheel which should have included 7-50 minute sessions of driving and 7- 50 minute sessions of observation. He only received 6 lessons of driving and NO observation. The Lynchburg office told him to pay for more classes but when it came to scheduling he was ghosted. They stole his money. Run far away from this place.

Negative experience: Originally I did not have any issues with Drive this way as they assisted me 4 years ago getting my license. However in 4 years alot has changed and it seems the wheels came off. My wife also from South Africa wanted behind the wheel drivers training. I called and was informed she would need to do the full online training as if she is 16 after I explained clearly what I wanted her to be assisted with. I pad the $400 as was suggested. Later on I realized this was not what I wanted. I called Drew. Sometimes he responded and sometimes not. Now my wife has her license without even attending to any drivers training behind the wheel. I over paid and did not get my money's worth. Sad to say. Make 100% sure they know what you want to do before you pay. I would not recommend this school as they hardly respond and are very bad in propper communication with there customers.

Negative experience: The worst ever Scheduling takes forever! I have been waiting for over 5 months, and when you give it up don’t try to get any refund, they would not give it back to you they will just evade it.. on top of that they have bad costumer service. Don’t get trapped with this chaos!

Negative experience: To the “owner” I see that your commenting on reviews but hasn’t email me back about my Refund since June 5th when I provided you with my card statement showing you that the money was taking off of my card back in April, and the emails that I have received from drive this way. Feel free to email me back to fix the mistake on your end or we can in person if that’ll help. REVIEW: I signed up for the class on April 17th, 2021 I did everything AND paid in full. I also gave them all my “limitations” for my schedule to be made which were absolutely none so my schedule could’ve have been anytime or any day. I called after 4 weeks of waiting and still no form of communication, a man answered and told me it could take up to 3 weeks even though it’s already been 4. It has now going on 8 weeks so I asked for my refund and they are saying they don’t have record of my payment but when I emailed my card statement and the emails I did get; whether one of them is a confirmation email or not showing them that the money was a complete transaction meaning I PAID FOR THIS CLASS no one has emailed back.I paid right then and there when I filled out the form. It’s now June 8, 2021 and I haven’t received anymore emails regarding my refund.

Negative experience: When I gave my availability, no one informed me it would not work and provided me a schedule that did not work for me. When I asked for my money back they informed me they couldn’t refund me, so I said that was fine and asked them to reschedule (which they offered to do). After several attempts to contact them to reschedule they never replied, so they essentially stole my deposit without providing any service to me and were incredibly unprofessional in not replying.

Positive experience: Today's class was rescheduled for tomorrow.

They reached out 2x to tell me they were sorry for the hold up. When I asked to cancel, they offered to start me after the 13th of September. I never received a phone call or voicemail. No thanks refund please

Negative experience: I asked for a refund. It has been 24 business days and still no response from them. I called three times and was told three different timeframes as to when something would be scheduled. I suggest you spend your money with a more professional organization.

Fantastic experience: A must take class for people of any age regardless of your driving history. I was expecting 8 hours of boring stuff I already knew, but I couldn't of been more wrong. The staff at Drive This Way are very friendly and approachable. The instructor who gave the class today, Mickey, is very knowledgeable and an excellent instructor. The class was fun and not once got boring. I've been driving for 23 years and a tractor trailer for 10 and left the class today with a ton of new and very useful information!! Fantastic experience: Very good instructors, nice facility, and a very easy to find. The class was well taught and I learned everything I needed to know in order to pass all tests I had to take to get my license.
