Fantastic experience: I had Greg as my examiner it was a great experience working with him he was very patient. He did not rush me at all. I felt very comfortable with him , he let me take the time I needed to complete each goal , but within the allotted time of course and I passed ,and I believe it was because I didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable thank you Greg I appreciate you. You are a great examiner!!!!!

Fantastic experience: First I would like to say I have passed this in my 4th time Mr Ken very helpful and understanding person he knows how people feel and he try to help you 1st Test with Mr Rick everything went good all went well just got confused in the 4th maneuver he whistled for a warning and I got confused that I was done and I blowed my horn so please don’t listen to anyone but the examiner 2nd test with Mr Greg everything went great all maneuver and everything was good went on the road test hit my tandems on the curve so automatic fail 3rd test with Mr Greg every thing went good just got my blood pressure drop so messed on the 4th maneuver and was not able to do it 4th test With Mr Jhon was very much upset as this was the 4th every one understands how it would feel after you fail 3 times but Mr Jhon very great guy he talked with me that made me little confident and he also gave me a candy I think that was where I got little more confident and my worries was gone and this time I was able to do everything on mark got passed got my cdl very very great Person and great help thank you Mr Jhon, also Mr Rick & Mr Greg very good people and thank you very much Mr Ken also leaving a big review with all explanations because people give up please don’t give up just keep trying you will get it done don’t upset thank you

Fantastic experience: Went there with my driving instructor so I could test. Didn’t pass the first time but second time I passed… My examiner John was amazing… I was comfortable and had a good time…

Fantastic experience: My examiner was awesome!! I'm horrible with names, but I'm pretty sure it was Rick? I was extremely nervous and right off the bat he put me right at ease and I had zero problems and my training came through. The whole process from check in to the end was great. They're very organized. I didn't feel rushed at all. They really do want you to pass. Two thumbs up for sure!! Thanks for everything!!!

Negative experience: Do not go to this place, racist people they love to fail people it's all about the $$$ there I know I passed my last test I know I did they said I failed the pre trip but put in the computer I fail my air brakes...stay away from these racist WHITE people

Fantastic experience: Took my CDL test for bus driver today. Had a great experience!! I didn’t pass the first time , and I think I felt worse for Fred ( that he had to fail me because I self sabotaged myself), because he genuinely felt bad for having to do his job. Today I tested with John. What a great job he did making me feel relaxed! He was very patient and we talked about light topics that helped me not be so fixated on my nerves. Throughout the test he was very thorough explaining how the test progressed and answered all of my questions. Thanks to him I passed today! I would definitely recommend this place for the friendly caring staff!

Fantastic experience: I just got my Class B license to drive a school bus. I had Jim, he's an awesome instructor. Would love to come here when I'm ready for my Class A Hazmat. The people are amazing and very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful place to take your exam. I finally pass my exam today after my third try. I have failed the first 2 due to my own mistakes. Instructor Jim, Greg and Charlie gave me feedback on how to improve my driving overall at the end of each test. I’m grateful for the advice. I would recommend this place to anyone trying to get a CDL.

Fantastic experience: First class testing facility! Ken was very informative and flexible regarding test scheduling. It is normal to feel nervous during testing; however, examiners John and Charlie were great in helping alleviate nervousness. All three of these gentlemen are very personable, professional and outstanding. They made the entire process as easy as possible. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: This place is the worst place to take a cdl test ,and yes their employees are very racist ,and yes its a money trap. i seen it with my own eyes when a guy can’t parallel park a semi truck and trailer has been there 4 times he comes back 2 days later they take him on a road test and with no pretrip nothing ask him about his tires and give him his CDL something is not right stay far away from this place is my best advice go to TDI south bend if i could give it zero stars i would.

Negative experience: This place is the worst I had a appointment at 10:30 they didn’t get me in till couple hours later and examiners are the worst talks during the inspection and I have a routine he failed me cause of my air brakes I can everything

He is absolutely amazing, Leading up to the test I had some extreme anxiety… Once I talked with John he was able to calm me down.. On top of that he is super knowledgeable, instead of just telling me I passed, he told me what I could have done better and what I missed and also gave me advice for future reference… JOHN IS THE MAN, and I highly recommend you go see him… There is no one better! Thanks John!!!

Positive experience: Great Testing Site in Indiana. Got my CDL. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nervous the 1st time & failed, but came back a few weeks later & passed.

Negative experience: Everything was great until the road test.. I wasn’t aware that the semi is 8 gears not 10.. especially for someone who’s been going to school and practicing on 10 gears.. I got blindsided.. trying to figure out everything on the fly and made more mistakes because I got flustered.

Positive experience: The office staff was friendly. I did fail my test but is my own fault. It was freezing cold , snowing . i was trying to rush through pre test missing a lot of stuff. Also my brake test. I was train in a different State which requires 5 point brake testing wheels chalked. The instructor told me just a basic 3 point brake test, which confuse me. After my failed test .My instructor did explain to me what i missed also explained to me i didn't have to tell him everything i was train on. I did have some personal issues going on in my mind i was basically a depression wreak that week. Plus the weather That day was a freak winter storm the world was against me. Out $225 that my family didn't have. The instructor was very professional and just told me get my personal affairs together Study and return with a clean head. I'll definitely take his advice. Ill try again when i get funds together and better weather so im not rushing. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Wow, best customer service ever kind and friendly. The lady at the front desk was wonderful. I don't think i've meet a more happy receptionist. The trainer John was great as well and extremely helpful. Although I didn't pass he was encouraging what to improve on. The whole staff was great bathrooms were clean...if your into that kind of thing .

Fantastic experience: Listen Man !!!! I don't have the words describe how great the staff were here in the process of getting your CDL. I got my CDL yesterday and my Examiner John was just flat the best. He made me feel comfortable from my pre trip inspection to my basic skills portion and road test. I was nervous before my test like most people but as soon as John called my name he treated me like we were going to hang out to see a football game or something. That meant everything to me because my nerves got calmed to point I was able to do my test the way I was trained relaxed and killed it. I told him he was definitely a big part of me passing because he was great with people interaction skills. Everyone there was so nice and customer service friendly. This was best overall experience I ever had in regards to taking a test. Just go there calm and confident and they will make sure you are relaxed through the whole process. Fantastic experience: Really nice people here. I came from 5.5hrs away to take the class A test. And passed my first time. Every one from the secretary to the examiner were really nice. Once I seen that in any doubts and nervousness I had went away. I see alot ot bad about here. But honestly think its because people dont study or practice. I was never rushed one time. I gave five stars for these reasons.

Positive experience: Great experience they treat you right

Negative experience: Testers rush you so that you miss things. The drive test area is so tight it's not drivable without touching a line which is an auto fail. Resting is next to impossible, 4-8 weeks between appointments. They love to fail people.

Negative experience: Its dirty, the testers are rude and they dont clean anythything. They lock the womens bathroom and have a sign that says "women only, no exceptions" to keep the weird people out.
