Welcome to Certified Driving School, the fastest-growing driving school in Oklahoma and a proudly Christian, family-owned business dedicated to the safety of Enid’s youth. We specialize in preparing students of all ages to confidently navigate local streets and highways, securing both learner’s permits and full driving licenses. What sets us apart is our unique certification: our owner is certified by both the Oklahoma Department of Education and the Department of Public Safety, an exceptional achievement that guarantees a high standard of instructional quality.

Led by Larry Swindell, a career Oklahoma State Certified teacher with extensive experience in both conventional classrooms and diverse learning environments like Guthrie's Job Corp Center, we tailor our approach to meet the needs of students from all ethnic, linguistic, and learning backgrounds. We understand that today’s learners absorb information differently than past generations. That’s why our comprehensive curriculum moves beyond the static state manual, utilizing colorful, fast-paced big-screen presentations, engaging videos, interactive PowerPoints, charts, and even cartoons. This modern pedagogical approach ensures that critical driving nuances and safety rules are not just learned, but easily remembered.

Beyond standard teen driver education, we offer specialized services including Defensive Driving Courses, Adult Learner Lessons, Senior Driver Evaluations, and instruction for those wishing to master manual transmissions. Our philosophy is rooted in faith and the belief that quality education is the best safeguard for new drivers. While we provide premium instruction that many competitors cannot match, we remain committed to making top-tier safety training accessible. Visit us at one of our convenient locations in Enid, Guthrie, Bixby, or Stillwater, and join a community that prioritizes safety, education, and responsible driving.

Negative experience: My son did drivers ed through them. All went well with that. We did the driving test through them as well and opted out of the extra pre trip 45 min refresher that cost another 60 on top of the 60 for the driving test itself. Because we didn’t want to do the extra, Larry failed my son. He was rude and condescending when talking to him. Even said he was an “unsafe driver”. My son drove us all over the the USA when he had his permit….thousands of miles. He knows what he’s doing. Literally went to OHP right away after he failed my son and did another drivers test…..he passed with flying colors and the guy at OHP even said there’s nothing unsafe about the way my son drives and said he drives better than 90% of people in Enid. So if you don’t spend the extra money on the 45 min refresher before the drivers test through the driving school, they lose out on money and will fail you. I have talked to several people since then that said they had the same issue. Just want others to be cautious when deciding where to take their drivers test.
