Negative experience: Female driving instructor seems to be trying to befriend the students. Pretty odd. Also sounds like she constantly breaks for the students to "smooth out" the break. What!? Do your job and teach them to drive. Just unprofessional instructor all around. Shouldn’t be a need to text your students either.

Fantastic experience: Went to take written test on January 29th. Everyone here from the moment I entered was friendly. I was there on April 9th and was nervous to take the driving part but passed it. They were nice from the get go.

Fantastic experience: Excellent instructions and people, I really enjoyed my time. My driving instructor was awesome and I’m sad to leave her. They make sure you are prepared for your tests and give you everything you need. You will get a laugh and will cringe because of some of the videos they show, so look forward for that

Fantastic experience: LOVEDDD my experience here. The receptionist and driving instructor were so sweet!! I think my instructor’s name was Ally, I can’t really remember but she made me feel so comfortable and took away all the nerves I had! I failed at 360 Driving School in Sunnyside with a 76 plus got told I couldn’t use my car because it was a new “law” that my car insurance had to be under my name so I had to pay $90!!! Here, on the other hand, I was able to use my car as long as it had insurance and had my car registration with me, and only paid $35. Will definitely recommend to others!

Negative experience: Poor experience. The owner was a very condescending and standoffish man. No real reason to come here over a friendlier, more professional school, honestly. Disappointed.

Negative experience: Terrible and none of the ones who pass the test on this school knows any driving laws.

Negative experience: Bad experience. Was yelled at for arriving 20 min early for our appointment. Screamed at my son when he didn't pass the driving test. Another time was yelled at when we tried to pay with our CC. The same lady yelled at us cause we tried handing her our card and apparently that upset her cause she wasn't ready.

Fantastic experience: My experience was great, easy and simple the two ladies at the front were welcoming and had great instructions. And the gentleman in the test room was quick and straight to the point. And my actual driving instructor (one of the ladies in the front, can’t remember her name at the moment). Was amazing the entire test, nothing but 5 stars for me, would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I would HIGHLY recommend this place for your driving and testing needs. The staff is AMAZING and knowledgeable. They were so patient with my son (and me lol). Having moved here from out of state we had no idea the process of getting a license in Washington. They were incredibly helpful and walked us through what we needed to do. Front desk staff was kind and helpful to everyone who walked in the door.

Fantastic experience: I totally forgot the name of my driver instructor but she is MORE THAN AMAZING. She made testing so much more comfortable. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain what I missed at the end so I had a better understanding. She was an angel sent from above ❤️ called in the day before and had an appointment the very next day, very easy to find if you read the signs correctly, was able to pay by cash or card. Everyone i spoke/dealt with was very respectful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: They have a soul. First two times at my driving exam I failed them both, understandable and reasonable for the instructor to do so at the other school I took, but, stepping on there toes a bit, I’d go so far as to say an artificial simulator would feel warmer then that past instructor. Anyways, the instructor I had at this new place, the gentleman with a beard, could pass for a fireman, was very pleasant, and all around just cool beans. The degree of calmness riding with him was that of driving with my dad, perfectly mellow. Sure I was nervous, it’s a test after all, but overall, very tame and manageable. The ladies up front in the office were very nice as well. Like I said, this place had a soul. Positive experience here. Oh and they only charged $35 for the driving test, other place I went to charged $50. Just adding to the value here lol. But yeah, very nice, would recommend going here and will be recommending it to family and friends going through similar waters. All from me now, take care, and have a good one. Oh yeah! A few last things I forgot, you can test with your own car! And wiring the arrows with Left and Right on your hands works people!

Negative experience: Al principio me senti muy comoda ya que la chica de entrada es muy amable, el problema es que si no tomas clases de conducir con ellos, es muy probable que tengas que pagar varias veces los examenes, me toco pagar 2 veces el examen escrito y una vez el de conducir ya que lo reprobe por escusas realmente sin sentido que me dio la señora, ya que por cierto se porto muy grosera. anteriormente habia comentado mu mala experiencia, y cuando llame para volver a intentar el de conducir, ME NEGARON EL SERVICIO, ya que no les parecio que ubiera compartido mi inconformidad. realice mi examen en Parkside driving school, el cual al primer intento lo aprove!! Cabe mencionar que tengo mas de 15 años manejando, y nunca eh tenido ni una multa, ni accidentes y eh manejado desde la frontera hasta aqui, por lo cual me parecio absurdo el que me reprobaran. Recomendaria este lugar para personas que quieren aprender a manejar desde 0, y pagaran sus clases y todo el proceso. para personas que ya tenemos años manejando y solo quieren renovar o conseguir su licencia de wa, es seguro paragar mas de una vez el examen. VAYA PUES PARECIERA QUE USTEDES SOLOS SE CONTRADICEN, ME DIJO QUE PASE CON 88 POR 2 ALTOS QUE SEGUN LOS HICE MAS ALFRENTE CUANDO NISIQUIERA HABIA SEÑALAMIENTO DE LINEAS, Y EL APARCADERO ENTRE 2 CARROS, AHORA ME SACA TODO ESO JAJAJA... HASTA ESTOY PENSANDO EN PONER UNA ESCUELA DE MANEJO, TOTAL PARECE QUE CUALQUIERA PUEDE HACERLO! POR CIERTO, NO SABIA QUE PREGUNTARLE A LA SEÑORA SI PODIA TOMAR EL EXAMEN EN OTRO LUGAR, ERA SER GROSERA Y FALTAR AL RESPETO!! UNA DISCULPA POR ESO!

Negative experience: Came here to do my drive Exam and I was confused so I went into the classroom and asked the ginger red head dude at the desk what I’m supposed to do and he immediately had an attitude he said ”can’t you read the signs that’s right behind you and taped all over” don’t know if he’s having a bad day or something but he shouldn’t respond like that

Negative experience: The woman at the reception desk is rude, impatient and irritable. somebody get her a Wambulance. I guess I'd be mad if I worked a minimum wage job too. It's 2022, yet they only accept cash! Probably to avoid paying taxes. The man who pushes the Helados cart through my neighborhood has a handheld device for accepting card and yet this place doesn't. Also, the owner is the only person who can do anything for you. When calling for scheduling, they say "we will forward the information to the owner and they will contact you." What's the purpose of having office staff if only the owner can schedule? It's like calling a restaurant for a reservation and they say "the owner will get back to you? The place is nearly impossible to find. It's at the end of a strip mall and the entrance is around the corner on the side of the building. We had to go into a different business to have them tell us where it is. Poor service, poor scheduling, only accept cash, yet one of only 4 places in town where you can do the driving test.

My driving instructor was the most friendly and explained everything perfectly and nicely The lady at the desk was also friendly and super nice. Negative experience: I wish I’d never set foot into A1 school of driving!!! The office manage Miriam is INCREDIBLY rude and condescending!! And the owner Eric Larson is just as bad! He’s a complete jerk and all they want is your money! They lie about their fees and take advantage of people! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Fantastic experience: I took my test today and I passed. My instructor was very cool and kind and patient. She said I did well and I gave her a tip. Signal, mirror, over the shoulder and go = S.M.O.G. If you take your test here, you definitely want her as a teacher. You'll be in good hands. Good luck my friends.

Negative experience: They don't teach the handicap unless they have a driver license cause they never thought of getting car to suit people in wheelchair, who may want to learn

Positive experience: In response to the reply: My son immediately took the test else where and received a high score without studying since the day before testing at your office...... That to me said enough like i said i could not be 100% so we went else where . I was not going to argue about a test. I gave an honest review with my experience. Went in with open mind even after hearing peoples experience. I am one who gives the benefit of doubt and goes off my own personal experience. I took my son to take his permit test. Which he supposedly failed twice. After the 2nd time they gave him the ones he got wrong and we looked them up. He answered them right by the manual we checked. So i decided to take him somewhere else since he kept failing so we would know for sure it was him. Well he passed with over 90% without any studying after the fails. I can't say 100% but it just seems very odd. Since i called and asked if it was possible they messed up on a test score and they were going to check and call back but never did. Just be aware if your failing more then once try going somewhere else. It might not be you !
