Fantastic experience: I loved the class and the opportunity to learn how to drive the safest way, the all star way! I really loved the way that the instructor Mr.Brown was really patient with students in our drives, he made me feel safe and ready when it was time to get behind the wheel. The way he taught the class was fun, interactive, and straight to the point. I highly recommend it!!

Negative experience: Mr Brown is a great classroom instructor. Everything you learn in class is helpful for when you begin to drive on the roads. Mr Otto has made me very comfortable on the roads and parallel parking is easy. Edit: I am now being spammed by car insurance emails after giving allstar my email address. I still think the instructors in East are great, but the company is pretty rough.

Negative experience: This place is ridiculous! There is absolutely no way to reach anyone! I have been calling and emailing for a week straight and have not been able to reach anyone! This is so unprofessional and I am irate. Where's the customer service. You're collecting hundreds of dollars from people who can't even get communication from you!

Positive experience: I enjoyed classroom time, drive times, and the instructor, but there were a few things that could have been better. There was little to no social distancing, but everyone was required to wear masks the whole time in the classroom and on the road. The communication was limited before hand which was frustrating at times. Overall I learned a lot and would recommend AllStar East Grand Rapids.

Negative experience: "Mr. Brown is..". Notice how every review begins the same? These reviews are doctored by people who are overly familiar with the instructor. This school is frequently rescheduling classes at the last minute, making it difficult to plan transportation. No, these are not all due to COVID. Also, you will NEVER contact someone to speak with from All-star. Phones are not answered and emails are not returned. Good luck.

Negative experience: Not a good experience. Teachers and Driving instructors were great. My daughter has not received her Segment one completion certificate. All Star is asking me to verify all the information that THEY can't find. Very frustrated as you can't get ahold of anyone. Very disappointed.

Positive experience: mr. otto was a great driver instructor and my favorite driving instructor. the program seemed very flawed in the way of online and not as organized as i had hoped. overall pretty good experience, i’m just hopeful that there will be fixes in the problems i experience, both online and in person.

Negative experience: I spent lots of time with Mr. Brown at All Star Drivers Training, and the one thing i learned was Mr. Brown giveth and Mr. Brown taketh away. We were told we would get pizza on the last day, but lo and behold Mr. Brown took that away, along with my dignity.

Negative experience: One of your instructors almost ran me off the road. Not to mention they were speeding as I was going 70 on eastbound i96 at 1pm on 3/12/2019. I wouldn't send my dog to your school to learn how to drive.

Fantastic experience: I put both my teens through the program at the rec center here in East Grand Rapids with no problems. Classes for both segments were easy to book online and gave three different payment options depending on how many driving hours you needed with the instructor. I paid the least amount as I was going to continue with lessons myself after the initial driving instruction from the instructor.
