Fantastic experience: My experience at Safeway Driving, Inc. was absolutely great. My road test examiner, Ms. Denyell Sova was very professional. Her communication skills were fantastic. Her ability to clearly and precisely explain the testing process in real time was terrific. She was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable as well. I could not have had a better experience at Safeway Driving, Inc. I recommend anyone who needs their services to book an appointment!

Negative experience: Rude like Symone Black stated on the google review. I see replies to try correct reviews but these experiences exist. Also grab of knee real hard was not appropriate for trying to make someone push the pedal with their foot, no idea what the reason because had no idea driving instructor could grab you. If it is because you are scared about someone from behind hitting the car which seemed like problem….still weird. If people follow behind cars like the drivers learner book states, so many lengths back, it wouldn’t be a shock if someone abruptly stops. Especially, a car states student driver. Defensive driving needed. Worse drivers are in this state and driver instructors haven’t done a good job then. This person is the boss and needs to find another job not working with the public. Or hire more women to work with women. Still a grab of knee should have not happened to keep the car moving and doesnt need to happened to someone else. Adult or teen. I am a woman, adult. People on road seemed very kind due to the reading on the car. Car states driver is student for many to beware and to be warned. Drivers training is what it is and drivers training isnt needed if someone knows already. Being talked to like dummy when learning and out learning roads outside of flint area was disappointing.Teaching is helping someone learn who hasn’t experienced driving. Felt like road test than training. Drivers training was for me to learn and mistakes exists. Drivers training is dangerous, since someone is new to driving. Instructor not prepared if reaction is to grab someone driving. I didn’t pay money to be talked down to for 2 hours which drives me around one day. Too much money. If wasn’t so far from flint, I would have asked to let out. Just because it is green, always continue to watch surroundings, especially intersections. You never know how people will act on the road because people don’t go by the book. Going to college for Communication, I know our tone and how we talk to one another can save us from being nervous and help people feel comfortable and successful. Many people nervous on the road new drivers. I hardly been on road which I told Nick. I still feel the ache of the knee grab as next day. Too much money for one day like rush, if you can go out with whoever you know for one day is free. Driving Schools around 20 years ago like Flint Schools going slow and basic with playground driving at northwestern before getting on the main road was good for new learners.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a great experience receiving her test from Autumn at the Mt Morris location. She made calming conversation with us (the parent rides along and I was nervous, probably my daughter, too) and her instructions were very clear. She made the best of the rainy conditions and we left with a licensed driver. Thanks, Autumn!

Negative experience: Very Condescending and sarcastic! If I’m not mistaken his name was Nick, on my first phone call with the driving instructor, I asked him what kind of car to look out for,and he replies with a snarky remark like "Don't worry I'll show up in a car I promise". It was a sarcastic response to a comment about my safety, which made me feel mocked and ignored. He shows up in a rinky dink car. Then, 2 or 3 times while driving he would say "That was terrible", or "That turn you made was horrible". I understand being honest, but to me it was brutal, and ruined my confidence. I would normally never let someone talk to me like that, but I had no idea over who my instructor would be, so I was caught off guard by his attitude. I had to try extra hard not to lose my confidence while driving because of that. I also was really eager to learn to drive as soon as possible, so I just wanted to get it over with. I didn't pay 153 dollars to be barated. Also, when I made a right turn, I slowed down too much, and he asked me why I did that. When I told him why he said something along the lines of “Aliens are going to evade us too but you don’t have to worry about that” So condescending it was annoying. If you take lessons, make sure you don’t get Nick. He’s a jerk.

Fantastic experience: Not only was Safeway Driving able to give me my Driving test at a time that worked for me, thankfully they had rental cars available with short notice. I planned on using my car until a headlight went out the morning of my test. A definite 5 stars from me
