Fantastic experience: Just Finished with One way driving, school this past November 9th, they worked with my schedule to schedule my drive time for weekends because I work weekdays, Ms. Robinson will push you to were you will have it down packed for your test, my last test she could tell I wasn’t practicing the 2 point Reverse Turn when she informed me about that I brought my own traffic cones and flags and practiced up until my Motor Vehicle test day and Guess what I passed with flying colors, Forst Try, the driving instructor said you was a little nervous but you are a really good Driver. Thanks One Way, I will definitely recommend.

Mrs. Robin taught students not only what MVA wanted us to know but also other things that weren’t in the drivers instructions book. I had an excellent experience and during my practice driving with my coach, Mrs. Robin, she was very patient and understanding of me. I would highly recommend this driving school.

Negative experience: While my experience started off well it got worse as time went on through my daughter's 36 hour course. Calling the office was tedious as the people I spoke with frequently referred me to call back the following week to speak with someone else in regards to most questions. Unfortunately one of those questions, when is the remaining balance due, went unanswered until I was already charged a late fee. I called to schedule my daughters driving time and was told to call back next week, so I am now several days late and was charged 30 dollars and they never call you or email you or even text to ask for payment either. Had I known I needed to come in that night and pay I would have, but instead just picked my daughter up like normal and came home thinking someone would bill me and have been calling ever since to try to schedule the driving time which is separate from the 30 hour class. I have talked to this place numerous times and not once did they mention a payment due or a fee. They just told me to call back next week and then charged me for being late. I would NOT RECCOMMEND using this driving academy for your child or loved ones. Update: Look at the petty response from the business owner for an idea of the mess you will be dealing with.

Fantastic experience: Entrusting someone to do your taxes can be quite unnerving. However, as customer of Ellerby tax service (for almost 10 tax seasons), I have had nothing but positive experiences. I attribute this to Ms. Ellerby’s extreme expertise, organization and attention to every detail. She is knowledgeable of yearly tax legislation changes, tax acts and explains the implications for her customers. Her guidance ensures that you are kept abreast & educated along the way. The superb staff has also truly enhanced my experience over the years. Words cannot capture my sincerest gratitude. The tax services and customer service offered here are undeniably value add.

Fantastic experience: I was a former student at One Way Driver Academy for 2 weeks in the month of September and I had the absolute pleasure of having Ms. Robin as my instructors for that short period of time. She is very kind, helpful, and eager to help any student succeed. She is a very hard working and outgoing woman, never failing to make anyone smile or laugh. Ms. Robin is a joy! Negative experience: I regrit my painfulll experence with this drivin skool. I demand my money back. Please, if your readin this, tryna save some stacks, and dedude to come here, remembe this. This is the cheapest skool ive eve been to. They aint teach nothing. I is sat in class with hood up, because my hurline aint good, (it was messed up by "UR CLIPS") but thats is a difference stury. The lady wit the crusty krab hurline, was aking like baby mamma, told me to take it down. I is like, fam, this aint no skool. I kept it up. Like, I is need to keep my hood up cause itrs the winter and the struggle. You feel me. And than, I brought in some fresh fried shicken, and I is eatin it, the teacher told me to stop smashin and she took my food and ate it in fronna me. She at ma good fried shickin! Like, who does that. And then, they have this crusty vendin machine that kept eatin up my dollar. Like the food that comes out doesn't even make it out. It gets chucked in half way thru, and then ya'll better shake it. The next day, I brought in a crowbar to get my 10 dollas out that I put in, but it is broke my crow bar too!! This cending machine is the wost machine out there. Its a corrupted maket. They aint no skool fam. They out there to getch ya money. I got 100 on 4 wuizzes, but they said I failed it. When I questioned them, they said I needed to pay 100$ for each 4 sessions for makup. One day, I got a little excited and had to go to the bathroom cuz I had an accident, but they is not let me go. She said I had to sit in ma chair that I aint even fit in. So I accidently went right there and I got kicked outa class. Like fam, you isn't even let me go for a break. She made me stand in the cold outside one day cuz I anint bring no folder cuz It got eaten bby ma mamma. They aint give me no final. The said I gotta pay 100 bucks for each session I actually passed in. Like fam, I got people to drive, and they aint give me no license yet. Its been 4 months and they still aint pay me back no 400 bucks. I wasted my money here. I could give 0.0 if I could, but I aint that crusty like this place is.

Fantastic experience: Absoluetly love this school! My instructor was awesome and well versed in driving and what to expect when you take your drivers test at the MVA. The prices are also good, way better than a lot of the prices for drivers ed in MD! Class room sizes are perfect and when i had any questions about the driving laws and manuevers my instructor was really helpful. The employees were professional and the school allows payment plans, which was really helpful for me. They're also near a MTA stop which made it easier for me to get over here. All in all, if your looking for a school with dedicated driving instructors, that has affordable prices, and will help you pass your drivers test at MTA, I would forreal give One Way Driver a call. UPDATE: Just got my license today! I used the tips for parking and handling the course that the instructor gave and I passed!!! So excited <3

Fantastic experience: Ms.Sherri is very thorough, she let us go out and get hands on with the driving car! Not a lot of driving schools do that , they actually TEACH YOU the information unlike some schools that are more expensive than this. $275 is a great price for hands on instruction and they have air lol. Clean ! COOL ! She makes lessons funny, I recommend this to everyone.

Fantastic experience: During my time at one way driver academy, I have learned a lot from what to learn but on and off the road and it was more than driving school because Ms Ellerby took her time to let students really understand what it takes to really earn a drivers license. Ms Ellerby also took care of us students on the last day of classes and we had fun eating pizza and also playing role play which we both learned court procedure and also had fun. The price alone is worth the try and definitely when you sign up you will want to refer more people to the school. OP..

Negative experience: If I could give this review 0 stars, I absolutely would. I can NOT believe, the unprofessional, shady and IGNORANT business I've had to deal with. The business at first seemed very understanding, and willing to work with my financial problem I was having. I had put $150 down, and was getting ready to start class. I had an emergency, which required a refund, due to something my son had needed. I was told the first time I had called, that in 24 hours it would be back into my account. After 24 hours had passed, I tried purchasing something for my son, and my card was declined. I called them back, and told them I didn't recieve my money yet, to be cut off by the lady on the phone and said "your refund was posted yesterday". I explained to her it was not in my account, and she then proceeded to get more nasty and tell me it was my banks fault and hung up. So I called my bank, told them what was going on, and they had told me that there has been NO attempt of a refund to go into my account. So then, I called the AGAIN and was asked for my credit card number! I assumed it could have been to actually give me my refund back, so I of course gave them my information again, although I would have thought they had that information due to the fact I was already suppose to get my refund about 2 days ago. I was then told I had to wait 48 HOURS for it to be put back into my account. At that point I was fed up. I had my mother call them the next day, and the lady got nasty with her as well, and tried telling her that it was the banks fault, yet again. My mom then told her we had already called the bank and they said there was no attempt of a refund being restored back into my account. The lady then told her she had the paper work from the bank and was going to email it to her to show her that they "were giving me my refund". A day later, no email of those documents! At that point I had to call the better business bureau and file a claim in which I was retired my refund, and they would do a further investigation. A few days later, I recieved a letter from the better business bureau, and they confirmed there WAS indeed foul play, and fraud! I would NOT recommend this driving school to ANYONE! They're just stealing your money!

Fantastic experience: Wow, words can't even begin to describe my experience with this driving school! I am very pleased with the services that One Way Driver academy offer to their students. The driver that I am assigned to is very courteous and very professional. The owner of the school worked with me diligently to accomodate the schedule that was need so I can take my test. The instructor name Ms. Keesha was very polite, courteous and very accomodating to my driving knowledge and skills. The instructor also knew how to deal with individuals such as myself that have phobias due to situations in their lives from former accidents. One Way Driver academy is truly a school that I recommend all types of students who want to learn to attend.

Negative experience: Have too much money? Feel like giving it away for no reason to a shady business? Great! This is the place for you! They'll gladly take your money and then refuse refunds, even if no service was provided. Here's how they do it (and what I experienced): 1. Schedule you for a last-minute timeslot on a Saturday, less than 24 hours away. 2. Forget to tell you about their 24-hour cancellation policy. 3. Also forget to tell you there will be nobody in the office on Saturday, despite their hours showing they're open on Saturdays. 4. And voila! Now they get to keep your money. Because if you try to cancel or reschedule they'll claim they never received your voicemails. They'll also tell you that you should have cancelled more than 24 hours in advance to get a refund. (In other words, you have to travel back in time to reschedule the reservation even before you make it.) Since I *don't* feel like giving my money away to a shady business like this, I called my credit card company explained what happened. The bank promptly gave me a refund (a chargeback) and started an investigation into the company. If you don't want to get ripped off, use one of the many other local driving schools.

Positive experience: Great teachers and great experience for all types of drivers, from rookies to experienced.

Fantastic experience: You'd normally expect for a night class to be pretty dull and tiring however this was NOT the case. After coming in from work (long hours 7-4) I would take this class. The energy of Mrs. Sherri kept the class engaging and interesting and her radiant personality made the environment a warm learning environment in which the participants of the class were eager to share out and participate. All throughout the sessions she kept pushing the students to think and bring in real life experiences to assist in learning the material. The owner Ms. Ellerbee was very nice in my conversations with her and she was very accommodating, especially in the behind the wheel driving. Originally I wasn't going to pick this driving school but I went with it and am more than happy with my decision.
