Negative experience: Becareful with this school. Price is cheaper but they just have one instructor for lot people .they dont have a good trucks to take practice , victor is the worst person in the business with womens , he always try get advance. If u dont past the test , he always try to make business under the table and ask for money to help u to pass the tests and get u the class A license..just dont go there.BECAREFUL!!!!!

Negative experience: DO NOT COME HERE!!! You will not learn anything because they don’t teach you anything!! The owner of this place is NOT HONEST and he will SCAM you!! HE MISTREATS his students and he drinks alcohol while on the job!! This “trucking school” should be closed down!!! DON’T WASTE Your TIME and your MONEY here!!

Negative experience: This is not a school you study yourself to get learners permit by passing multiple choice test at dmv. All you are basically paying for is to have a truck to use during your driving portion of DMV test. You may get some practice 10min of practice at a time depends how many people are there if you have experience driving stick and are quick to figure it out you may pull it off. If you can afford it I would go to a carrier approved school because you will get a job offer right after getting your license. This school is not carrier approved and swift or Schneider or any mega carrier will probably not hire you unless you agree to go through there training programs. So basically you can do that from the beginning and get your training for free through one of the mega carriers.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. Got my CDL (it was called a class 1 license back then) here 39 years ago. Had a great life since. Been all over the US, Canada, and Mexico. Still at it. Thanks Aztlan.

Negative experience: I went to Aztlan truck school, waste of money and time. Go to A&B 215 truck school. 860 S Waterman San Bernardino, California. Ask for Chano.

Fantastic experience: Dont listen to any of these negative comments. Yes the owner victor is a snake and yes he will take your money but he will alow you access to his trucks. Access may be limited but make it work especially if your on a budget cause the other trucking schools in the area can easily cost you twice as much as this shool. The truth is that it is completely up to you to get your license. No one is going to hold your hand at this school so dont show up expecting special treatment. I met people at this school who had been there for over 6 or 7 months basically wasting there own time and money. The longest you should be here is 3 months. Pay attention to the manuevers and listen to the students who have been there longer because there the ones that are going to teach you. When you see a student practicing there pretrip go and stand next to them and you practice also. Dont wait for Vic or one of his instructors to teach you. This is not a School for sensitive people who like to be baby'd so if thats you just go to another school. I went here and it was the best 1500 i ever spent I made my money back in my frist trip. This school is a hidden gem changing peoples lives right smack in the middle of the hood.

Fantastic experience: In my experience it’s a very good school, affordable price . All the team is si helpful and patient with all the students, they give all the information that you need and the better option that works with you . I definitely recommend Aztlan .!!

Negative experience: Don't waste your money and time here. Owner is disrespectful and isn't professional at all. Plus you have to wait 2-3 to get a turn on the truck. Just a bad experience overall.

Fantastic experience: La escuela es muy buena todo depende de el empeño que el alumno tenga en conseguir su licencia eso es todo lo que se necesita enfoque y lograrlo

Negative experience: Es una estafa no te entrenan pagas las horas de entrenamiento y te hacen esperar y solo puedes usar 20 minutos o menos “el truck” que en realidad es un junk no importa cuánto tiempo esperes para poder usar el truck 15 o 20 minutos si espera 2 o 3 horas las toman de tu tiempo de entrenamiento que pagaste aunque no estés usando el truck no merece ni siquiera una estrella que es la calificación mas baja es toy seguro que si las autoridades tomaran cartas en el asunto cerrarían esa burla de escuela y nos regresarían nuestro dinero

Negative experience: Bad experience the owner it tells you what you want to here until you pay the school. I didn't know you have to wait in line. I don't get it why he doesn't tell you at the beginning you not gonna practice 2 hrs straight. I wait for my refund if I don't get it I will take action.

Negative experience: Worst school. Owner is impatient, unorganized, and scams. You help yourself out there and don’t get help at all. They stay on one maneuver for 2 months and don’t care. If you want to go waste your time/money go to Aztlan.

Fantastic experience: Went to this school in 2004 they helped me a little bit but getting my commercial was something that I wanted it was only going to benefit me they showed me the basics I took it from there unlimited DMV but I passed on the first attempt it's a great school but you have to apply yourself thanks Victor.

Fantastic experience: Aztlan Trucking is a great school. The owner is nice and tries to help you if he can. The best thing about this school is that you can learn and practice at your own pace. You can go to the school when ever you want, and practice the maneuvers as many times as you need. Only thing is you have to wait your turn to drive the truck to do the maneuver. They also teach Pre-Trip inspection and air brakes every day from 12- 3 pm. I got my CDL class A license after 3 weeks, and I only went to the school 5 times. I was able to pass my DMV test on the first try. That's all thanks to Aztlan and the great team!

Fantastic experience: Had a good learning experience. Victor and Lewis were very helpful to me. I BROKE THE SCHOOL RECORD. I attended 9 DAYS ONLY AND WENT TO THE DMV AND GOT MY CLASS A CDL. Great place

Positive experience: One good thing attending this school taught me how to drive and understand stick shift.. no other school didn't want to bother... another good thing is Aztlan accepts monthly payments for training... u will learn from each other for the most part and support each other during testing dates.... when all else fails don't give up go to latruckingschool located off Gage in Los Angeles or OC trucking school has videos step by step for all test very reasonable rates

Positive experience: ok so let me start off by saying this place is the CHEAPEST($$$) school to go to in Los Angeles. Do not come here unless you already have your permit or you'll be here much longer(wich you do not want). I received ALL my training from this place spent a month there, went to the DMV and PASSED. The school has a few instructors but do your self a favor and ONLY listen to 2 instructors and NO one else!!! Samuel Gaytan and Lewis Starks. These 2 instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and know what they are talking about. With out those 2 guys the school would not be successful. LISTEN TO ONLY THOSE 2 GUYS IF YOU WANT TO PASS AT THE DMV and move on with your life.

Negative experience: Is the worst school ever and the instructor Leo is getting money from the students telling them that he have someone at the Gardena DMV that is helping the students so you better be careful if your planing to go there. Positive experience: It's what you make it here. I got my CDL here almost 2 yrs ago, and am currently working at the Ports shuttling containers around So Cal making good money. Hanging with the other good students and learning from each was the key for me, watching tons of YouTube videos was also. Stay away from the complainers and negative people. Management is not the best but you will have ALL the tools at your disposal to get your CDL, it's up to you to put it all together and make it happen. Good Luck.

Fantastic experience: I just got my cdl through this school this cool is low budget but you get what you pay for but if you focus and put effort you will get your cdl through here all those other schools cost too much this the best price your gonna find

Negative experience: Victor is a scam, he had no school but a small yard where he scams people and take their money away, no training or anything basically learning by yourself, the trucks are in very bad conditions, don't go over there no matter what. I signed up and I gave him 300 dollars and next day I had an emergency my dad needed a brain surgery and asked him to give at least half what I paid he refused I even begged him this guy has no heart or anything , he has two people that watch people while they are self training on the truck no professional at all. You go there and count on a big failure. Even the people that give the school five star they are getting paid from victor

Positive experience: Honestly, at first it may seem that its a bad school, but i am here to say that i got my license and I am very grateful for finding this school. In conclusion wether its a bad school or not; if you are determine YOU WILL get your license. Overall thank you Aztlan Trucking School for helping me get my class A license.
