Fantastic experience: I love that they are patient with you meaning that you are becoming a first time driver! And patience is a virtue, best driving experience.

Negative experience: So unprofessional!

Negative experience: The class itself is fine but the time management is not. Regularly delayed lunch and delayed leave as-well as showing gruesome and fatal wreck videos right before lunch. The class had a-lot of fear factor videos and tactics. The class also is not good for someone with anxiety due to the forced speaking in front of the class. After the class portion the driving portion takes months before the first session is scheduled. My very first scheduled day the instructor was a no show. My first two driving lessons were very anxiety inducing and I wish i remembered the instructors name. He was rude, snappy, and grabbed the wheel way too much. He frequently mistaken his lefts and right and gave frequent misdirection. This instructor quite literally made me breakdown the second day when he was my instructor again after a request to change him. The only reason I didnt rate it one star is because of my instructor the last two days. I believe his name is Mark. He was very understanding and patient. When the last day came i didnt even realize i was taking the test because he was so great. Overall this place is so unorganized and poorly run. I recommend going somewhere else.

Positive experience: the establishment itself i rate 4/5. my driving instructor, Mark, has done an excellent job at guiding me while on the road — 5/5! he’s very laid back but gives you necessary constructive criticism without ever breaking a sweat in the passenger seat, which is the ideal kind of teacher for new drivers like myself. if you’re able to request him, i’d highly recommend!

Positive experience: The instructors here are excellent, especially Mr. Robert and Mr. Jerry. Good directions, good instructions, and incredibly professional. I could not have asked for a better experience. My only gripe was I was rescheduled several times, and given considerably short notice. Otherwise, this school is great.

Negative experience: This place is so rude and disorganized. I won’t speak bad about their class room portion because we had no issues with that. But once that was complete the completely ghost you. They always have an excuse why you can’t do the driving portion. No instructors. Only one car. If you only have one car. On take as many students for that cars capacity. If you have more students. Get another car. What a waste of money. Don’t recommend.

Negative experience: felt racist. i literally drove fast one time during a turn and he goes “this isn’t nascar” , smart remark. then he failed me. i’m sure other people who attend wouldn’t have this problem though, if you get what i’m saying. don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: Very thoughtful and respectful place to go learn how to drive. The teachers will go out their way to get you through in order to pass

Negative experience: I would not recommend this place. They are rude and unorganized. The instructor yelled at my nephew while he was taking his driver's test, making him nervous. The car used for the test was not in good condition at all. The breaks squeaked and the car was in need of an oil change. The overall experience was horrible.

Positive experience: I am completely satisfied with the schedule they gave my son for his driving course, it worked out perfectly around his work schedule.

Fantastic experience: the school and the staff is amazing. the teachers actually engage you in the lessons, which is rare. and although they may be very busy, they do eventually contact you/get back to you if you call them. would recommend this school to someone that needs to take driver's ed :))

Fantastic experience: Let me start off by saying I have a high anxiety child, so I have to make sure everyone is aware as not to disrupt her flow; otherwise, she comes unglued (withdrawn/upset). Her class was full virtual and she loved it. She was very nervous about driving in and around Lafayette. Once we were in person, everyone made her feel so relaxed and comfortable about driving. Thank you all very much!!! Please note, they are very busy and due to COVID, it backed up their schedule on some things, but if you are patient, then you will not regret your decision choosing this school.

Ms. Jeanne was helpful and made my experience easy!!!! She made sure she kept in contact with me and made me feel comfortable!!!! She is awesome!!! Very pleasant experience!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t ask for a better school for my son experience drivers Ed. Jeanne was always polite and professional and she returned my calls promptly even with the pandemic going on. She is the absolute best there! I’m so grateful I chose consolidated safety and would recommend it to anybody in the area looking to put their child in drivers Ed!

Negative experience: My daughter registered. Paid in full for 10 hours. Scheduled lessons. She’s had 1 lesson and 14 cancellations. I’m counting the no shows as cancellations. Go somewhere else. They’ll take your money and you won’t get what you need.

Negative experience: Very disappointed! Seems like they are very disorganized! It took 4 months for my son to take the driving part. He was scheduled to drive at 8 am on Monday and at 730 they called to cancel! I believe they kept booking classes and taking our money when covid hit! I will not recommend this company to my worst enemy!

Negative experience: After paying $400 for the class and waiting months for the driving part of the class, then it costs an extra $50 for the driving test and an extra $10 for the certificate to turn into the insurance company. I would suggest finding another school that includes everything.

Negative experience: The lady in the front gives no details at all. She cost my son 6 months before he could get his license. Angelle I think, either has no clue what she is doing or does not care about her job. If I could do it over again I would not go here, she is rude, gives no information and very unprofessional.

Negative experience: My son went through the classes fine. It has been two months since he's taken the class and still hasn't done the driving course. Called the school and they still don't have a date yet. This is holding up my son from getting his permit. Not happy with this process at all. Find somewhere else unless you have lots of time.

Fantastic experience: Big shout out to Jeanne and the instructors for working and navigating through all this Covid chaos. Jeanne was truly accommodating and addressed all of my questions and concerns. After sitting and watching her work one morning I have to say she manages everything so well and still maintains a positive attitude under all the pressure. Our instructors were great, patient and knowledgeable, my daughter enjoyed them very much. I would highly recommend Consolidated Safety and will be using them for my other three children. Negative experience: Staff was regularly late, and didn't seem to fully understand the material they were teaching. They used books from California to teach the courses, and while most of them were nice, the old fat white lady was particularly rude.

Negative experience: Your scheduled driving lessons are six months after the class. They don’t tell you this before you pay for the class. Not a place to go if you need a learners permit fast. The place is popular so they have many students but they don’t have enough drivers and cars to handle the flow of so many students.
