Fantastic experience: The entire process was so easy! They are upfront and honest about everything! We were fortunate to be able to pay in full, but they offer payment plans!! My daughter really enjoyed each and every class lesson and all of her drive times. The instructors are calm, cool, and collected. They teach these kids more than just the basics. We ended up having to go to the local DMV to get her permit, but now they are able to handle literally everything right there at the school even the driving test for their actual license(which we did today, and she passed!! Obviouslythanks to everyone at Metro)! So convenient!! Everyone on staff is absolutely amazing! You can tell the strive to make each kid feel comfortable by getting to know them as individuals. Our experience was so wonderful, we have recommended Metro to as many people as we can. I'm almost sad it'll be 3 years before I can sign up my next kid!! You better believe I will taking her there as soon as I can!

Negative experience: The women in this office do NOT know how to communicate. I ask very clear questions and they answer something else. Then when I ask for more information they get LOUDER and not more clear. They do nit provide All of the information that you need in order to succeed in getting permit appointments and then your license. I told them my concerns about trying to get an appointment and they talked to me like i was stupid. A month later and my concerns i raised are coming true and we cant get help. Ive wasted money i didnt have on this program. I do not recommend this company. Don't waste your money **EDIT RESPONSE** I think the reason they don't listen is BECAUSE they say the same things hundreds of times. They are responding to the questions they are use to hearing, and not listening to what is actually being asked. If they are "too busy" to listen to someone during the 15 mins before or after class, then don't schedule a consult during that time. As for being "less than friendly" I'm autistic I wasn't unfriendly I was direct - AND I'm not there to be friends, I'm there for a business transaction - I was never unfriendly but I was stern and very concerned about the specific issues I had questions about. Had they LISTENED to what was being said - they would have known my daughter was a special case and we would have had a chance to communicate about that and potentially resolve any issues right from the start. Instead they don't listen, they just talk AT you, talk to you like you're stupid for asking questions and now the OWNER is not apologizing or taking any responsibility. Hello, my name is Justin Lemman, the current owner of Metro Driving School. I am sorry that you do not feel that your questions and concerns have been answered to your satisfaction. I also know how frustrating it can be to schedule appointments with the DPS that aren’t scheduled 6 months out. We do know of a way to get same-day appointments, and I imagine my front desk personnel have explained the process hundreds of times in the last year alone. Just this week, we completed a video explaining the steps that you can obtain using a qr code posted in the office, or by following this link :https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LQEvEZmGscfWC7egUGMZLzkScaE2LyB0/view?usp=drive_link In your specific situation, however, the daughter, currently enrolled in our program, is a bit of an outlier to the majority of the individuals who participate in our teen program and the video does not cover her specific situation. This is, however, some of the information that my front desk ladies attempted to explain. Since she already has a TX ID, on the website (you will see on the video in the link above), instead of choosing “Apply for first-time Texas DL/Permit”, you will select the option “Service Not Listed” to proceed with making the appropriate appointment. I hope this helps with scheduling your necessary appointment to get your permit from the DPS. I would also like to point out that I closely monitor the inbox of [email protected], and my front desk team vigorously reply to 50+ emails a day with detailed and precise answers and correspondence to students and parents alike. I mention this because as you have probably experienced, the 15 minutes before and after every class is a hectic time in the front office and although the ladies up front do a wonderful job managing the chaos and answering all of the questions, from time to time, as they are only human, being addressed in a less than friendly manner can result in conflict. I do not want you to feel that you have wasted your money on our program so since your daughter is not even halfway through, I would be happy to refund the amount you have paid so far and wish you the best of luck in obtaining your driver’s license. Response to edit As the OWNER, I take our reputation as a family-owned and operated business seriously and reviewed hours of video footage from the security camera in the front reception area. The cameras are primarily for monitoring the building when we are not open and are set to record when motion is detected. When we are busy during the day, I don’t get a constant stream of what goes on at the front desk, but I do get many, many clips throughout the day of 15 to 90-second snippets (with sound). Based on your concerns and accusations I listened to hours of interactions between my staff and clients and quite frankly did not run across one instance of my front desk team talking down to or AT anyone. Granted I don’t have absolutely every interaction recorded and don’t claim that my staff are perfect and unflawed, but you’d think that if they were doing as poor a job as your review claims, I’d run into at least a couple of interactions that I could use to ask them to do a better job, but I did not. I did, however, based on the time on the credit card receipts, find interactions with both mother and daughter and my staff where questions were answered appropriately, nobody was talking down to anyone else, and in the very first transaction a piece of paper given to you with the information in my original response written on it in handwriting, not typed, that covered the special case about the daughter that is the root of this issue. Again, I’m sorry you are not happy with the service we provided you and as I said in my original reply, we will provide you with a full refund. I also replied to your email and explained refunds are required to be in person and will require the return of our certificate.
Fantastic experience: I have taken two classes from the instructor Jimmy and I had a very great experience! Thanks to his teaching, I was able to clear my driving road test in the first go itself. He was very patient with me , made me understand my mistakes while driving and made me practise again and again to improve it! I would highly recommend Metro Driving School especially instructor Jimmy , for anyone who wants to learn driving ! Note : The Lady examiner who took my driving road test , was also very sweet . Initially I was a bit nervous but she made me calm down and comfortable. The instructions was very clear on what she was expecting from the Road Test! Thank you !

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! Had a great experience overall the staff and service was perfect. Passed my driving test yesterday and today I got my Drivers License! This Company does it best and I wish nothing but success for them, will bring my siblings onboard to this school :)
