Negative experience: Car used during test was old and badly maintained , had to push 4times way harder on the Brakes than on a regulard car, car needs inspection and maintenance

Negative experience: Terrible Terrible Terrible. The service of this place was so bad. The one secretary barely spoke any English and didn’t even know what she was saying. I specially asked for a Female driver multiple times and I received a male driver. It took so long for me to get classes almost 2 months. The male driver didn’t even let me drive he kept holding onto the steering wheel and wouldn’t even let me try to drive. The other secretary was more understanding and she got the job done. Overall I had a very bad experience with this place and would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: This a great driving school. My 17 year old son needed lessons. Carlos the instructor was excellent! Eric took my son for the road test. My son passed the road test! They were very professional and a reasonable price. The owner Mike and receptionist Claudia was very nice as well. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Let me explain somethin to y’all I failed my driving test at least 5 times being absolutely nervous and overthinking I was referred here to this driving school I did the practice before my road test and PASSED u know how EXHILARATING that is ? And ima tell u it’s because of CAROLINA …she’s the best instructor I had yet She’s very patient …has the sweetest calmest voice U can’t be nervous around her And she explains everything in a way that there no way u can confuse anything…she doesn’t take over the lesson while you’re driving She’ll say what u need to do and let u do it in on your own…CAROLINA is the most pleasant efficient instructor I ever had and I had many Her energy is beyond pleasant When I took my road test I spoke aloud and remembered EVERYTHING she told me I always get nervous parallel parking but she made it soooo easy Minimal steps Told me what to look for in the mirrors and it was soooo easy My experience was beyond superior She picked me up on time Called an hour before Prompt efficient I’m just so grateful She’s an AMAZING instructor and person in general And the price is reasonable Ima b serious There’s places out there that over do it 5 star experience I wish I knew about this place months ago

Negative experience: Terrible school!!! Would not recommend ever. The driving instructor Carlos was very unprofessional. He constantly grabbed the steering wheel and never let me drive. He also talked about really inappropriate things such as him having relations with woman while knowing I am minor. He also made very ignorant and sexual comments about woman. Thank god I had prior experience before coming here because he was of no help. I still passed my test but only because my dad took me to practice driving.

Negative experience: Don't expect to learn anything with this school. It honestly felt like a waste of time. The instructor was on his phone the entire time. Did not actually teach anything, just tells you to drive. If you make a mistake he will give you attitude and responds very rudely instead of helping you. Doesn't even let you drive on your own as he's always holding your steering wheel for majority of the time.

Fantastic experience: Control driving school is the best they teach me all the techniques to pass my driving test.Thanks to Mike the owner and Caroline you are very good teacher Not only are they the best but there price is reasonable I try Golden Wheel driving school before Control driving school and they over price and my first attempt with them I did not pass I switch over to Control driving school and my first attempt I pass parrell parking was like a butter just slide through K turn was nothing Caroline make it so easy for me I’m so happy I finally get my license.

Negative experience: Angel did an okay job but the thing I didn’t like about him is how he used to be on calls with people all the time and wouldn’t help like that. He also lied bout getting a certificate that would help me pass the road test and my insurance company. In order to get a certificate he said I needed to practice 8 hours with him which i in fact practiced more than that and didn’t receive anything. I would suggest you practice with someone else and not him. He will try to rip you off as an take your money.

Fantastic experience: Took my road test yesterday and passed. I got a lesson before my test and it really helped. They treated me so nicely and really calmed my nerves while we were waiting on the line for me to take the test. Loved this place, would 1000% recommend, super helpful!

Negative experience: guys do not go there its bad. I made an appointment and I waited for them, but they never show up. and when I called and said why you guy are late they said I never made the an appointment. do not go. don't waste your money.

Negative experience: If I could give this place 0 stars… I WOULD. First of all, the lessons were point less. We would drive around and instead of giving me pointers or cues, my driver instructor (dark skin older Dominican man), would stay talking on the phone the whole time while giving me attitude if I made a mistake instead of explaining what to do he would jump infront of me and steer the wheel him self. I felt so uncomfortable the whole time and didn’t ask questions because I would be responded with slick attitude. SECOND OF ALL the day of my road test i payed for an hour lesson before and for them to take me to my drivers test at 11am, they said they would pick me up at 9:30 and didn’t show up until 11:25. They ignore my moms and my calls the entire time and i got anxiety. I did not get my hour lesson before the test THAT I PAID FOR and failed the test. These people are not professional and they are mediocre. DO NOT GO HERE

Negative experience: Very terrible experience! I scheduled 6 hour lessons and they never arrived for my lessons. They did not even contact me or give any notice. Do not schedule appointments with them, you will not get your driving lessons. I will definitely be reporting this to the BBB.

Fantastic experience: Took my son here for him to pass his first road test here in NJ and let me just say that I cant be more thankful and in awe of how they took care of him and guided him step by step through the learning process. My son now feels confident on the road & and I cant thank Eric his instructor enough for being patient and careful throughout the whole process with him. Definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Terrible experience the worst driving school I seen I had my girlfriend try their school thinking it was convenient due to them being in Clifton but this is one of the worst schools I seen they taught nothing and charged for everything thank god I took time to teach my girlfriend and didn’t rely on them for her primary learning… I recommend you teach yourself before coming here sad thing is only one person in this entire place know how to teach and I didn’t get this individual name

Negative experience: 0 stars from me. I confirmed my son's road test appointment twice with this school and they didn't show up to pick my son up for his road test today. Daybkost from work and a day lost from school. Horrible. They're not even answering the phone.

Negative experience: Aunque pasé el examen fue una pésima experiencia. Comenzando que de 6 horas programadas realmente tuve 4, son extremadamente incumplidos y sacan excusas rebuscadas. El servicio al cliente no es nada bueno y algunos instructores son poco profesionales, pareciera que no tienen intención de enseñar y les interesara solo cobrar.

Negative experience: Es de las peores experiencias que he tenido. Supremamente incumplidos, llegan tarde o no llegan, y en vez de disculparse sacan excusas que ni ellos mismos se creen. La conclusión de la secretaria fué que debía acostumbrarme ya que así se manejan las cosas en este país. Qué tirsteza, una persona deshonesta y sin humildad. Llegaron 3 horas tarde a la cita para presentar el examen. NO SE LO RECOMIENDO A NADIE!

Negative experience: I BEG YOU DO NOT !!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE !!! Firstly awful customer service,very unprofessional!! Secondly they are very racist! Especially the victor dude and the old hispanic lady ,victor has a road rage and almost had a fight with some african American decent ,he made sure to use the N word with hard R ,he made my fun of my country called us terrorist etc ,thirdly the hispanic lady almost lost my permit ,blamed it on me ,yelled at me but then she finds it under her seat ,I leaned absolutely nothing and wasted nearly $300 on them ,finally i had an appointment for 12 ,she calls me at 11 to get ready,i was at college i had told her my appointment is at 12 then she proceeds to tell me she can do 11-1 next so i called off of work ,next day comes in and she never shows or picks up my calls ,she eventually picks up and yells at me profusely Stating “there was an error in the office “ and hangs up ,PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY .

Negative experience: It was very poor service.This young black instructor was very rude he has lots of things to learn especially the basic manners.He racially profiled me.He called me a border hooper just because I was Mexican

Negative experience: Horrible driving school I don’t recommend. It was my first time driving and the guy offered me no tips and continued to make racial comments like “roti roti curry” for absolutely no reason. Not only that he has horrible road rage and made me chase a bus when again I had no prior experience with driving.I learned nothing because all he did was insult me and terrify me. I’m never going back.

Fantastic experience: Alberto and Mike were amazing instructors. They both taught me such good tips and essentials you would need to be out in the road, which eventually led me to pass my road test.

Fantastic experience: I'm rating 5 stars because Misael is an amazing teacher and if you want to learn to drive, definitely choose him. He is polite, professional, and kind. He's very patient and cares about making you comfortable and relaxed so you don't make careless mistakes while driving. Perfect service!! Having that said, DO NOT CHOOSE KAREN!!!!! All she does is curse, yell, and blab on the phone forever complaining about her job. Appearantly she's popular with teens but it's because she just curses and overshares creepy stories about herself. If you're a parent, do not let your teen around this severely ill woman. She also texts and drives on the job so... I'm not sure what else I need to add. She should be locked up.

Fantastic experience: Karen did a great job of teaching me the essentials of driving. Despite me struggling at first, each lesson increased my scope of road regulations- eventually allowing me to pass my road test. Would for sure recommend anyone to look into Control Driving.

Fantastic experience: I wouldn’t have passed my test if it weren’t for Karen. She helped calm my nerves an extensive amount, and thanks to her I learned how to parallel park in less than an hour. If you want a refresher course before your road test, or even just lessons, I highly recommend this place! The staff is phenomenal and incredibly caring.
