Negative experience: I signed my son up for this course over the summer. The online classes were fine. When it came to the driving classes, every time my son showed up for a class the excuse was either the car was in the shop or they didn’t have him listed as signed up for the class. My son had to take time off of work for these classes. When I called to try to get a refund, the man on the phone was rude, constantly was talking over me and left me with nothing but excuses. He promised to send me the managers information so I can start the process of our refund, I’m very doubtful he will follow through. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with this crooked driving school.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this school been waiting almost 3 months to do the driving part the car is in the shop it's his weekend off it's his birthday those are all the excuses I got to do the driving part only went once in three weeks wouldn't go there if I was you

Negative experience: Total rip-off. After the online testing, it takes months to schedule the behind-the-wheel training. After emails and messages being ignored, I find out they don’t schedule evenings, only mornings or weekends! What a crock! If you work weekdays, you’re out of luck.

Fantastic experience: This process was fast and easy and the virtual classes were great, Very convenient. Everyone who works there was so helpful afterwards for setting up your drive time. Literally the same week I finished I had an appointment for my test and passed. Thank you so much for making the process less stressful and complicated!

After receiving my learners permit, 2 weeks of driving school, ending Sep. 22nd, it took me 3 weeks in total to receive my license! Thank you and appreciate y’all! Highly recommended

Negative experience: The 5 star reviews here are really misleading! I fell for the good reviews here! The school is really unprofessional and rude when you try to schedule behind the wheel! Best of luck while scheduling if you need to communicate with the lady over the phone! If you ask for schedule after completing all the requirements, the lady will ask you to complete your payment! After completing your payment, that is it! She will be rude, threaten you if you call! Sometimes if you call, she will tell you that she will call back which never happens! Every other instructor was really good and I enjoyed my time with them. But DARRYL (the lady over the phone) is just the opposite! I had to complain to MVA to get my schedule and if anyone is stuck like me, I recommend you to do the same!

Fantastic experience: SAM really helped me get my driving licence within two weeks of time..he is really kind, soft spoken and polite with the student. He is always ready to provide the resources that the student needs to learn driving. SAM is best.

Negative experience: This driving school is horrible on scheduling and working with work schedules. Communication is poor they will schedule on days that you work then call or text a day before. The guy darrell is very unprofessional very smart. I will not be recommending this school anyone ever! I should not still be in this school from 12/22/22 til now 6 months is a stretch

Fantastic experience: I've spent years waiting to get my license out of a fear of driving, and lack of access to quality resources. A friend recommended this place after getting their license and having a great experience, so I finally decided to take my next steps in learning to drive and getting my license. In short, I had a wonderful time in every step of the process. I am very thankful for places like R&S and their incredible staff. I purchased the whole package, the 30-hour virtual classroom time, instructed by Ms.Kelly, and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving, coached by Samuel. The class was great. Ms.Kelly was engaging and was committed to the success of each student. She used real-world examples and personal experience to keep the mood light and interesting. She was punctual and very well-informed, happily answering any, and all, questions. 6 hours of behind-the-wheel drive time sessions with Samuel went by so fast. I walked away from each session with boosted confidence having made significant progress. Samuel was calm, well-informed, humorous, and encouraging with an obvious passion for teaching. I will likely be returning for extra sessions to hone in on my skills before finally taking the road skills test. Lastly, Darryl helped to schedule each session and get paperwork in order upon completion of the course. He was always kind, enthusiastic, and welcoming. Thank you R&S for the great experience and I will be sure to recommend everyone, and anyone, I meet who is looking to get their driver's license in the Baltimore area.

Fantastic experience: I have always been hesitant about driving. I went through other driving schools twice before finally getting my license with the help of R&S, the day before I turned 30. Everybody is sweet and down to earth, and really seemed excited for my success. The driver's ed class is actually fun, my instructor had a great attitude. The two driving instructors I had were calm and helpful. Have some patience & flexibility in scheduling the drive times, it will be worth it. I'm so thankful to be able to drive confidently thanks to R&S

Fantastic experience: I took my Drivers Ed class (teacher is awesome) with them as well as behind the behind the wheel this company will help you as long as your willing to help yourself Very reliable, communication skills with them was awesome WHENEVER I connect them someone usually Mr.D (Owner) responds same day (just give him time) ,and let me tell u Sam is my guy he had me relax and very comfortable when driving with him I tell you ask for him (the tips he gave me is what I played back in my head during the test) by the way I PASSED FIRST GO THANK YOU GUYS YOUR AWESOME BLACK OWNED AND ROCKING IT

Fantastic experience: Firstly, I enjoyed the driver course education which was the 30 hr classroom. But from there, it’s been bizzare. I didn’t expect this school to be this bad in terms of scheduling a behind the wheel lesson for someone who has completed the necessary checklist for that. I literally completed my driver classroom education, and I have to now wait for an additional three weeks just to take my btw training. SMH. I wish I knew better when looking for schools to apply for the whole driver education thing. Y’all are very UNRELIABLE tbh. UPDATE: I was able to schedule my btw lessons after few complaints. Thanks to Darrell. So I’m giving this school a five star rating. Y’all are pretty decent.

I Had Accident PTSD But He Was Very Understanding And Worked With Me. I Finished My Lessons On A Wednesday & Passed My On The Road Test This Past Friday ( 4/29). Thank You R & S Staffing & Team ❤️

And the private lessons were also very good, Sam was my instructor and he was worth every bit of money I put into it. I passed my road test first time. I will be referring people here.

Negative experience: Great instructor horrible receptionist “ d’earl or darryl “ is very invasive & rude it’s very hard to get information from him I wouldn’t recommend because I had to reschedule my driving test 2times because he never return calls & when you come in he says he will get back to you luckily it wasn’t that hard to pay for another car just wish i thought to do so sooner .

Negative experience: Went in July to schedule private lessons so i can get my hours and be able to take the driving test and get lisence. Ive had my learners 3 times. But never had someone able to teach me to drive. Been through driving school and done all that but my previous school closed down. Figured best bet was to pay for private lessons. Was able to get on the schedule same day i paid. But the NIGHT previous to my lessons Daryl texted me saying "had to cancel drive time for tomorrow" no other context. No nothing. I responded that was okay but id like to know when i can get back on schedule. Nothing. Texted again a few days later. Asking again. Nothing. Then again a few days after that. Again nothing. I had to threaten basically to get a call saying they were trying to find a slot. And that it wasnt a big concern because i already knew how to drive. Tell me. If i already knew how to drive. Why would i be paying someone $100 to take me out and learn. wound up just saying forget it. And requested refund. I was told to come in NOW 5 mins before they closed to get a refund. completely unprofessional. It takes forever to get ahold of someone.. not worth wasting the money. It seems these are common issues within the reviews.

Negative experience: I took my drivers test and passed. Thank you to Sam and Ms.Kelly. DARRYL ? You are unprofessional. You get too smart. You shouldn’t be allowed to work here. I would not recommend coming here because of Darryl. Some people might know him as the woman on the phone. Adults and children attend the driving classes here. I don’t know if it is because we are children and or younger adults. But I am 18 years old and it took a lot in me to not put him in his place because I know he threatens to fail people. I had been nothing but respectful but he continued to get smart. This is all because I scheduled my drivers test in advance. Furthermore , I feel he gets a kick out of getting smart. I feel bad for his coworkers. DONT ATTEND HERE.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the best driving schools in the city.They have a good staff and they are willing to work with you so you can pass your skills test.

Negative experience: The whole program is not very professional. The teacher is a nice lady but often strays away from the lesson and tells personal life stories. The online classes were very simple but that's not really a good thing if you're a first time driver and you don't know much about the road. The in-person classes weren't any better as I constantly had to call to know when my next class was, and that's IF the guy answered the phone. I called them out on this and the guy threatened to fail me. I'm finished with everything now but if I had the hindsight I DEFINTITELY would not have given them the time of day nor the money. If you already know how to drive and just need the legals/etc. then this is perfect for you but this certainly is not a learning experience

Negative experience: They say that you can’t believe everything you read on the internet as being genuinely honest. I believe that must be the case for most of the positive comments about this driving school. I don’t know if some of you are making references to the same Sam, as instructor to my son, that we’re currently dealing with. Since the beginning, it was very hard to get him for the initial training session. Then, for the second class, he never contacted my son. Text messages were not responded to. Needless to say, he never showed up. For the following class scheduled, he was late. And, for a course scheduled for 2 hours, he spent only one. I’m already very disappointed that R& S Express driving school. And don’t know if I’m not going to up fighting them in small claim court.
