Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Shoppers Choice in Manassas back in 2022. I chose trucking, not fully knowing what to expect, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. Ramiro runs the school exceptionally well. Classes were m-f 7 AM–4:30 PM, and despite the large number of students, he and his staff stayed late to offer extra training, some worked through their lunch hour. Their dedication made a huge difference. I initially struggled with manual trucks, but Ramiro brought in automatics so we could test on them, an absolute game-changer. As one of five women in my class, I was treated with respect, not just by the staff but by fellow students who shared real-world trucking knowledge. I studied hard, created a diagram of the truck practiced pre-trip inspections every night a few hours. The driving came naturally, but memorizing all the parts was the toughest part for me. I passed, and within a week, I had 10 job offers, mostly OTR, some local. Some students who didn’t pay attention in class struggled, but the instructors encouraged studying and forming groups, which really helped. I’m beyond grateful to Ramiro and his team for their support, patience, and commitment to our success. If you’re serious about getting your CDL, I highly recommend Shoppers Choice!

Positive experience: The staff, Jose, Carlos, Mr. Lee, and Eddy (sorry if any misspelling), are very knowledgeable and each bring their own experiences to the table. Everyone is approachable if you have questions, even Ramiro, the owner. The only thing is they need more staff! CDL licenses are always in need. While I was there, at one time there were about twenty students training. Classes are offset to reduce overlap but even when a single class has ten students, it can be difficult to get them daily on the road practice. Although understaffed, I'd still recommend them to anyone going for their CDL.

Fantastic experience: Wow this place is amazing Carlo and Jose and Omar are wonderful instructors including Eddie this place is the place that you want to go to train no other place I promise they will make sure you pass without a doubt. I recommend anyone to go to this place. They make you feel so comfortable hands down just go I promise you will not regret it oh I can’t forget Mr Lee
