Positive experience: Overall very good. I had Cheryl Sherman for Segment One, and Jim Bradley for Segment Two. Both th very nice and very engaging. Had Cameron and Robert as behind the wheel instructors. Robert failed to inform me and my other passenger that we both had scheduling issues that made it so that we both had to drive first. He was very unhelpful in finding a solution, but we made it work. Confirmation emails for classes came the day before class started, with no contact before then, so I wasn’t sure whether or not I was actually registered. Over all pretty solid experience, just a few minor issues as you would expect from any buisness

Negative experience: Instructors are great and personable. The rest of the operation, room for improvement. My son was sick and left school mid day. Tried to reschedule an appointment that was set for the following evening, but the website would not allow it. I assume because it was less than 48 hours. I sent two emails, no reply. Called the following (late) morning and discussed it with a rep. Thought it was taken care of. Received notification that night that I had a fee of $25 due. I called the next day. Since I didn’t have a positive Covid test or dr’s slip, they would not waive it, they still had to pay instructor. Long story short, after ranting n raving for 5-10 minutes, I hung up and paid it. Received a call 5 min later stating they would refund my $25…that was 2 months ago, still not refunded. Come to find out, instructor CANCELED THAT SESSION anyway due to the weather/snow and the slick roads (I asked the instructor)

Fantastic experience: 6/28/22 after taking segment 1 all the way till segment 2 my driver instructor Jim Bradley has been the absolute best driver instructor I Have ever had when I always drove with him he always made my drives fun and there's was never a time that flew past that I didn't like

Fantastic experience: 6/25/22. After taking all 12 days of the segment 1 class and so far 4 out of my 6 drives, Instructor Bowen has been great. He’s been kind, encouraging, and educational. While in the vehicle with Derek you feel very safe and you truly have fun on the road. I would suggest to everyone to check out the Allegan location for Official Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I've taken Driver's Ed from Official Driving School, and it's really helped me learn the rules of driving. I took both segments from Jim Bradley, and not only does he teach everything you need to know for the test, he makes it interesting by telling stories. I felt very prepared for the tests after taking the classes, and I would highly recommend the course to anyone looking to learn how to drive.

Fantastic experience: I decided to take drivers training at the Allegan Tech because my friends who had the class before me told me really good things about Derek and how nice of a drivers instructor he is. He is very calm in the car, he doesn’t yell or get mad. If you make a mistake he will help you fix it and then after the mistake is fixed he explains how to prevent it from happening again. At the beginning when classes started I was super scared and nervous for my drives, but as soon as i started driving and got more and more drives done I began to gain confidence more and more to where now on my last drive I was completely confident. I would 100% recommend taking drivers training with Derek Bowen at the Allegan Tech Center.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Official Driving School to anyone whom may need the knowledge, comfort, and skill of driving. My son is being trained by Derek, at the Allegan Votech location. I can not express how thankful I am for the comfort he has brought to my husband and I as parents, knowing our son is out there driving for his first times.
