If you can follow his instructions down to the T, there’s no way you will fail the road test. I passed mine yesterday in the first attempt. Also, their price is way cheaper than other driving schools in the area. Totally worth the value!

Negative experience: We signed up for 1 hour driving courses for our Au Pair who was new to America from Brazil, to get her comfortable with American roads and rules. I was assured we would get the same instructor every week, so that we could appropriately track progress and monitor improvement. Our second lesson came up and I received a call from a different instructor to confirm the lesson. When I asked why it was a different instructor, I was told that it wasn't possible to have the same instructor weekly as they initially had promised, and then they took it upon themselves to CANCEL our lesson we had for that day without asking. We had planned our day around the lesson and got zero notice. Flakey, dishonest, rude, A horrible business. Would not recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with this driving school. Janin is a great instructor! He was always on-time and accommodated our driving lessons around my busy schedule so that I could successfully learn how to drive safe. He is patient, but will be stern to ensure the safety of you and others while on the road. I’ve always feared driving on my own, but the driving instructors at Buffington’s really put my mind at ease and made the process very smooth for me. They also let you use their buffington’s vehicle (for a very fair charge) for your licensing exam!! All thanks to the Buffington’s Driving School team, I passed my driving test on the first try, I’m no longer afraid to drive, and I consider myself a safe driver!! I HIGHLY recommend them.

Negative experience: Let's go... first thing.. LOOK FOR ANOTHER DRIVER SCHOOL TO MAKE YOUR CLASS OR ROAD TEST! I did the supposed 2 hours behind the wheel today with this school for the Road Test in Bridgeport, I have to talk.. this guy named Janin (something like that), He have a grey Honda Civic, this guy is not at all friendly, the guy does not have patience. While I was practiced, he stayed inside the car filling the paper and was several times writing text on the phone.. I definitely did not like it I felt totally annoyed and nervous practicing because every time he spoke to me, he spoke with the authority of a father, he is in the wrong profession, rude and totally unprofessional. When you pay $311 dollars a some person or "school", you expect at least that they are professionals and help you until the end of your DMV process. That is, if you need to practice hours of driving, really need a person to help you, definitely not this Driving school, I passed the test, because I drive every day, so I have driving experience.. but if it was someone with no driving practice, I would have failed, because it was not professional.

Fantastic experience: Denise, her brother and his wife robin were such amazing people they were so humorous for the 8hr course that you need before taking your license. Before coming in I really didn’t want to be stuck in a room just watching videos with boring people but they really just lifted the feeling in the room by being nice and funny. I definately enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would. Also even learned some more pointers about the road, I felt like I could already take my drivers test as I was leaving. I recommend this course here if your really nervous about your drivers test or permit test...I guarantee after leaving the class you’ll be all set to go.
