Fantastic experience: This is that best place to help new drivers or for people who need a little help, for me I only drove like 4 hours and I was so bad at driving, that I side swiped somebody. So my dad sided me up here and I drove 6 extra hours and those extra hours helped me learn a lot. So thank you Gaston! That really helped.

Fantastic experience: I selected OsCar's based on all the good reviews, and they were awesome. A lot of the driving schools in South Charlotte had mixed reviews, so I drove 30 min to Monroe which was worth it. Gaston was excellent with my son- very supportive and patient while doing driving lessons. I was in the car with them and learned a lot of tips and tricks you don't think about which was helpful for me to keep up the teaching. Highly recommend.

They made us aware of everything we needed to know to get her level one permit quickly. As homeschoolers, it’s often difficult to get the instruction needed, Oscar’s made it quick and affordable.

Fantastic experience: oscar was my instructor behind the wheel many times, he would ask you questions to make sure you are focused and he will ask u what to do, for example when changing lanes he would ask what to do first then he would walk you through multiple things overall i had a fun time and i learned a lot

Oscar was easy to reach as I was signing up and helped walk me through the multi-step process of moving my daughter over from her school’s drivers ed. Driving was easy to schedule. Everyone we dealt with was professional and pleasant. We will be back with our other kids when they do drivers ed!

Fantastic experience: My daughter went to Oscar driving school this summer. Now she has her permit. I am impressed when she drives. She knows the rules and follows them. Nothing would make me so happy that to know my kid is a good and safe driver. All of these is because of their teaching. She told me that she learned a lot. I think their school is really teaching kids about driving. Send your kids there and you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: The best experience I could have had! I worked with an incredible instructor on the road ahead of my drivers test back in early 2022. The instructor was equally as impressive as the quality and experience I was given. A veteran, several degrees earned, and a whole boatload of knowledge and experience. I felt safe, well-advised, and satisfied with the instruction. I started there very nervous to be on the road and left more confident than ever! Here I am, holding an NC driver’s license since February ‘22 and driving safely all thanks to Oscar’s Driving School! I can’t tell you how invaluable the lessons I learned from my instructor are; I use them every single time I get in a vehicle and get out on the road. Take your kids here when they’re of age and I promise you will be incredibly pleased and overjoyed at how safe and knowledgeable they become when it comes to operating a vehicle. Or go to learn about other things such as driving for the postal service! They didn’t pay me to say this lol. I’m just a very happy client. 10/5 stars I think I was with Greg in the car for this experience. Greg, if you see this, I’m the master’s student who had hardly any decent experience before you taught me. I can’t thank you enough!

We could not believe the difference in communication, organization, professionalism and desire to actually teach the kids how to be safe drivers from the other place we had been. This is the best driving school in Union County, very knowledgeable about the DMV test and questions while driving. Oscar goes above and beyond the job duties. He treats each teenager as his family as they are in the car driving and going over test questions. This is a very important step in life, and I’m glad they had a part to do with that for my family.

Fantastic experience: My son took this course during the shut down so they made the course available via zoom. My son had a great experience and the teachers were eager to help him all the way from classroom instruction, driving time , and the website was super helpful providing practice tests, too. Due to all the tutelage, my son was capable of obtaining his learners permit on his first attempt. I plan to use Oscars for my subsequent children as they come of driving age.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Oscar's driving School. During this rona virus my son's class through the school was cancelled. I could not have found a better private driving school to take care him, his classes and driving. He is more confident then I thought he could be and this was a great experience for him! We appreciate everyone there for their part and their great attitudes!!! As a mom of a young driver I feel better for my son knowing he is prepared to get behind the wheel, thanks to Oscar's Driving School!!

Fantastic experience: My son learned a lot and knew the information after completing the online coursework and behind the wheel driving. He said the permit test was one of the easiest tests he had taken due to the material being taught so well. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable . They are doing this for the right reasons, to prepare our children to be good drivers and know the rules of the road, and most importantly to stay safe!

Fantastic experience: I took the preparation for the written permit test here just in the last 2 days. After my second 3 hour I class I felt very confident for being able to pass the test with no issues. I took my permit test just an hour after I finished the class and passed, with no problems! My instructor, Mr. Greg Gilchrist, was very kind and took the time to understand how i learned, and made sure I understood what he was talking about. I would 10/10 recommend Oscar's Driving School to any adult or teenager needing assistance on getting either there liscence or permit!

Fantastic experience: Instructors are focused on teaching safety out on the road. Oscar cares about the students like they were his own kids. He will go the extra mile ( or whatever it takes) to make sure your child has what he/she needs to be a safe driver.

Fantastic experience: I love the fact that Oscar has the students drive without other students in the vehicle. My son really appreciated that too. Far better than high school Drivers ed. He is very hands on with the students, not only educating them on driving but the actual dangers of making poor choices (driving drunk, sleepy, wreckless, etc) with videos and in person testimonials. He is also the most affordable driver's school outside of public school Drivers ed. My daughter took high school Drivers ed and I can tell you it doesn't compare to an actual driving school, especially Oscars. This man is dedicated and personally driven to educate his students in all facets pertaining. My son has talked non stop about everything he has learned, over and above what I have taught him along the way. I am very impressed. Thank you Oscar for putting so much of yourself into your students. I'm so glad my son received such thorough and in depth education, he will be a safer driver because of it.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Oscar's Driving School to anyone with a teen getting ready to drive. The class size was small and interactive. My son learned so much useful information that I could hardly get him to stop talking when I picked him up. Oscar is extremely patient and knowledgeable and really wants his students to succeed and become safe and proficient drivers. The driving portion was one on one and was scheduled at convenient times. Overall a really great experience!
