Negative experience: You pay for driving lessons, then call them and email them for days without a response. Finally they tell you that they don't have any available lessons until a month from now and when they refund you they charge a fee. I would stay away from these guys as they are really unprofessional and don't know how to properly conduct business

According to my teen, Lee Hardingham is a patient, kind, chill, and funny instructor. My son also says Lee gave him some helpful advice. Negative experience: We did not have a good experience with Lee. My daughter was a brand-new driver with only a few hours experience. We made it very clear that we were looking for him to teach the fundamentals because we wanted a strong start for her. When they returned two hours later my daughter was fighting back tears as he proceeded to completely rip her apart about what a horrible driver she was and that she almost killed herself three time. I pushed back and asked if she was having that many issues why he wouldn't take her to a quieter road and start from the beginning since he knew she was so new. His response, "she wasn't that bad". I realized then he was trying to use scare tactics. And I understand that my daughter may not have been a great listener. She is a total beginner and didn't know how to respond to the driving cues. But the communication did nothing to build trust or rapport with my daughter for future lessons. I tried very hard come to an understanding with him and told him that I really wanted to work with him and his wife. But we could not find a way forward. Clearly there were two very different takes on how the conversation went, as I thought he was extremely rude and he felt I was. This is obviously a situation where the truth is in the middle as tensions were high. However I still think it is incumbent to share my experience as this company is not a good fit for everyone. Rather than being defensive, I hoped the company would respond that they were sorry for the miscommunication and we could go our separate ways.

Negative experience: I tried booking and the receptionist was very rude, she didn't understand the concept of booking a lesson at a reasonable pace. She wanted me to book a 90 minute lesson, then wait 5 weeks for the next one.

Fantastic experience: 911 Driving School has been the best at helping me grow as a new driver. Jakki is a great instructor who was extremely dedicated into making me do the best I can on the road. She puts in a lot of time and knowledge that goes very far in the lessons I’ve had with her. She pushed me to go from someone who doubted they can even pass to getting my license on the first try. I appreciate all the effort and will continuously use everything she taught me to help me with my future here in Florida. Fantastic experience: John has been giving my son lessons since he got his permit. He is so kind and nice with his approach to a nervous teen. He’s helped him learn to drive and given him confidence while doing it. He goes above and beyond when he teaches and keeps things easy and simple so not to overwhelm you. I really appreciate him and there was even an instance we were stuck somewhere else and he came all the way there to get my son for his lesson. This wasn’t the agreed upon pick up location so he really went above and beyond. I am so grateful for his professionalism and kindness while teaching. I also really like how he encourages you and let’s you know you’re doing a good job or gives you pointers on how to do something better with a very positive attitude. He will repeat the same maneuver until you get it right and you don’t feel stupid the whole time because he’s so encouraging and makes you feel good once you finally get it right. I can’t recommend him and 9-1-1 Driving School enough! They’re so wonderful! They will even take you for your road test in their car if you don’t have one available. Highly recommend the school and John Thompson!

She made me comfortable from our very first lesson, and I ended up actually having fun being on the road. With just four lessons, I went on to pass my driving test easily and confidently. I can’t thank her enough. The best advice I can give is to listen to what she tells you to do and then do it exactly! By all means, ask questions.
