Fantastic experience: John was my instructor, and I must say I’m impressed. I took 20 lessons with another driving school and couldn’t pass my driving test. Today, I took 2 lessons with him, and I’ve learned so much step by step. He explains every detail. Parking/ turns/ blinds spots etc

Negative experience: HONEST REVIEW: NOT THE BEST EXPERIENCE … I wanted to take a double lesson for 1 and a half hours and had to end the appointment after only 30 minutes. John was my instructor and I didn’t feel comfortable with him AT ALL. He told me I needed to pay him before the appointment started so I did, then he immediately told me to get into the driver seat and pull out of the parking lot. I have little to no driving experience as this is my first driving lesson in 2 years so while I did remember some things I really needed to refresh my memory to feel comfortable driving again. John’s tone was very condescending and I could feel him running out of patience when I’d make mistakes which is crazy because aren’t driving lessons for people who dont know what they were doing? Like isn’t that the whole point? His attitude made me even more anxious than I already was controlling a vehicle but I still tried to be as positive as possible. At one point I was having trouble with my left turns and staying the middle of the lanes while turning so I asked him if I should use the lines on the street as a guideline and he told me that no one who drives looks at the lines on the floor while they drive. He literally told me that if I asked someone else that question they would think I was a “weirdo” I KID YOU NOT in those exact words and at that point, I’m thinking to myself like… yeaaa OK this guy is rude but I stayed in the car for like another 5 minutes during which he was still being being super condescending and asking me why I still didn’t have my license yet which I believe was completely irrelevant to our lesson. At that point it became too much and I told him I didn’t appreciate his tone And that I wanted to end the lesson. He refunded me for the second half of the lesson and I told him to keep his money for the first unfinished half because I honestly just wanted to be done with it. NEVER AGAIN. New drivers just be cautious and maybe your experience will be different but mine wasn’t good at all

Fantastic experience: My daughter had taken her road test in June and failed. We rescheduled it for July 31st and I called some local driving schools so I could get her some lessons before her test. When I called Road For Safety, I immediately felt very comfortable with John. We scheduled her first lesson. After meeting him I knew we made the right choice and my daughter was in good hands! After her 45 minute lesson, he felt fully confident in her and felt she didn't need any other lesson until her road test I was very taken back by his honesty because I was willing and wanted to give her more lessons before the test. He could've took my money and just gave her the lessons, but he was very honest. My daughter really liked him and enjoyed her timing with him, he took her to her road test and gave her a lesson the day of her road test. She passed with flying colors! John is truly a great teacher and has that ability to make everyone feel comfortable with him. I highly recommend the school to anyone who needs driving lessons. In fact, when my son becomes of age, I am going straight back to them!!!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional! I attempted to take the 5-hour course 3 times and there was an issue each time. I set aside 3 Saturdays since the course is only offered on Saturdays, virtually. This prolonged the booking of my road test. The August 6th course was canceled due to Francisco (the course instructor) being sick. I was informed of this via text from another employee. Apparently only Francisco conducts the course- how can they not have another employee to substitute for him?! For the August 13th course I clicked the link at 9:55 a.m. and was prompted with “You’ll join the call when someone lets you in.” I waited and then I texted Francisco at 10:10 a.m. and received no response. I then texted and called John (driving instructor) who said he would figure out what was going on. I kept waiting to be let in during the meantime. This took too long and I was now denied access to the meeting. I waited until 11:30 before I was told to enjoy my Saturday. Truth is, Francisco was having Internet issues since he was trying to conduct the course while out of the country!!!! It had nothing to do with me. Next, on August 20th I received a text from Francisco with the link for the course that will be taking place just 90 mins from the time the text was sent. I was successful in joining the Google Meet, however, the class was yet again canceled due to not having the minimum number of people required. Francisco also commented that he doesn’t know how to continue with the class because there were 2 Spanish speaking only students and two English only speakers. My thought- have two separate meetings! I expressed my frustration of now trying 3 times to take the course! Francisco questioned as to why I didn’t join last week. I explained, once again, but he kept insisting it was because I tried to join the meeting late which was absolutely not true! Even after I told him that I have texts and screenshots of me trying to join he kept insisting I was late. Outrageous and embarrassing! He spoke to me in a degrading manner and then tried explaining how Google Meets works in regards to not allowing people to enter after 10:15 and that I didn’t know what I was doing. I am a teacher and I have taught using Google Meets for 2 years due to Covid so I know exactly how it works!!!!! After giving up trying to defend myself and being treated unprofessionally, I asked for a refund and received it within the hour. I purchased the 3 Lesson package and since I only did 1 lesson with John I asked for the difference. I wanted to give only 1 star but settled for 2 stars because John is a great instructor. Do not waste your time like I did with this driving school!! I could have had taken the test by now if it wasn’t for their shenanigans.

Fantastic experience: John from Road to Safety Driving School was so kind and very patient with my twins. My kids took Driving lessons from him and he gave them pointers and techniques that will stay with them for a long time. Both my kids passed their road tests on their first try, thanks to John!!! I had a wonderful experience with Road to Safety. Great school!!!

Fantastic experience: This was one of the greatest driving experiences I’ve had. I am a brand new driver, new to the road and the vehicle itself. Not only was I able to take the 5hr Class from the Road To Safety family, I was also to able to receive lessons (catered to me and my schedule) & also transportation to and from my driving test. They are legit, precise and fully equipped to help and hone your skills. I am only 26 and just started driving seriously, it took exactly 3-4 weeks with Road To Safety for me to now be a competent, proficient & CONFIDENT driver. Best of all....I PASSED THANKS TO THEM.!. Contact Frank the instructor today and get it done with.! It’s easier done than said in this case & IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. I would do it again just to see Frank personally.

If you are a high speed learner or a slow learner (like my self) this school will suit you needs. Here you won’t just learn “how to pass the test” but how to actually drive, because at the end of the day it’s not just about passing the test but being safe while you are driving. Before this school I took classes with other schools and I can tell you this is the best school by far! My instructor took the time that I need it to explained me and guide me, and never told me “you are doing good” just to make me feel better, instead he was bold all the time about the good things and the things that I needed to improve. Negative experience: The owner of this place is not a nice guy. He was very friendly until I bought a package for my son. Now that he owes us driving lessons he never answers the phone and when he does he acts like he is doing us a favor to talk to us. I found them because of good reviews but now I’m thinking that he must be paying people to write reviews for him. I’m chasing him for months to try to get an answer on a road test scheduled for my son and he hasn’t called back. I’m about to pay for more lessons with a different school. This place was a waste of money and now my son has to pay the price for their incompetence.

Fantastic experience: The instructor (Francisco) was amazing teaching and made the class be lots of fun. I got my certificate of 5hrs pre-licensing class certificate. The same day that I made the appointment I took the class. And got the certificate. He made my appointment for 2 days after I got my certificate with the DMV supervisor and I passed the test and got the license 2 days after I took the 5 hrs pre-licensing class. He (Francisco) is the best at what he does. I Highly recommend him.

It was a long process for me to get my license and I could not do it on my own/with my family's help for years. I got too nervous/anxious about driving after having failed the road test once before BUT once starting with road to Safety I felt so much better thanks to the care they put into their lessons. I finally was able to get my license in about a little over a month of lessons... Thank you so much Francisco!!!!

Negative experience: At first he was great. Then he messed me over three times in succession. First he goes to the wrong location for a lesson. Then he doesn’t pick me up for my road test. I decide to be forgiving things happen (I had confirmed on the location and left 4 messages and two text messages to be safe). Finally we reschedule the road test and he tells me he can’t pick me up from the location where I’m at. I’m through being forgiving. Stay away!

Fantastic experience: I haven't had any experience with any other driving school, but even if I had, I would still stand by this statement; road to safety is the best driving school out there. Period. They come to pick you up from your house, and they walk you through what to do step by step. Francisco and John are both very knowledgeable and patient. I started off with the very basic knowledge of driving (how to use the indicators) and they brought me to an every day driving level. I recommend this company to my friends all the time, and I highly recommend you try them out. The prices are very reasonable, they host a 5 hour defensive driving course every Saturday, and they take you to do your road test in the car that you've been practicing in. If you wish to try any driving school, this is the one.

Fantastic experience: Meeting Mr.Francisco was a blessing. My sister referred me to him because she passed. I took driving lessons with him and the next day I took my road test and passed on my first try. There were 3 of us and all 3 passed. I could not be more happy . If I could recommend him time and time again I will. If your looking for a driving school this is the place to do it . He was AWSOME his little jokes made me remember a lot .
