Fantastic experience: This was an amazing experience & I loved every second of it! My husband surprised me for Valentine’s Day & it was worth every penny! Cory and his fellow staff members were true professionals. I’m a large woman and we weren’t sure if I could get in the car, so we did not prepay my ride. But Cory & his team made getting in/out the car easy. I highly recommend this experience for any adrenaline junkies.

Fantastic experience: This was my fiancé's best birthday gift ever! It's an experience he talks about anywhere he goes right now. It was worth the money to see the smile on his face! On a serious note though, we had a rough after ride experience. The pictures were disorganized and sometimes missing even after the rider had already taken their suits off. We felt like there was no leadership present to takeover, when things got intense with angry customers. But Lauren, was the savior that day! It was her first day on the job at that location in Daytona. She was so sweet and polite and did the best she could to save our experience despite the circumstances. We owe this picture and plaque to her! Thank you so much for the care and concern for preserving this day for us. As you may check out the picture, video, hat, and T-shirt bundle do not come at a cheap rate.

Negative experience: I did the Daytona experience a few years ago,and it was awesome. I decided to do it again at Daytona and it went down hill from the beginning. I didn't recieve a confirmation email until I called. At the track,when it was time to get fitted for my helmet,an older crew member insisted that I wear an XL helmet which was too big. I told him and he stated "That's all we have." I was able to get a proper size eventually. Then I was put in a car that was an automatic,and I had to be removed and wait for a manual shift car. Once on the track and up to speed for a couple laps,I lost communication with my spotter. I heard a high pitch sound on my spotter radio on the front stretch,and I was able to get on the apron on the back stretch safely and make to pit road. Now I wait on pit road in the car again to complete my track time. I paid for the in-car video and the crewmen removed it and stated "I'm going to reset it." Finally I was able to complete my segment. At this time I proceeded to get my in-car video package t-shirt,hat,picture and plaque.The guy in line ahead of me had to put his suit on again and go back to pit road to get inside a car because they didn't take his picture. Another paid for eight minutes and didn't get his full minutes. This is when I knew... I was screwed. My video only had my second stint on the track after I had to pit and half of that video is me sitting in the car waiting to go out on the track. I know losing the radio is out of anyone's control but I could tell there isn't the best communication between crewmen,at least on this day. I enjoyed driving the car and it's fun doing it but the overall experience was chaotic and unorganized. Unfortunately,I will not be spending hundreds of dollars for a product and experience like this again.

Fantastic experience: What an AMAZING experience! My son and I each drove a race car at Daytona International Speedway. Being originally from Daytona Beach, this was a dream come true! I highly recommend this to anyone who has ever had a dream of driving a real NASCAR vehicle at the World Center of Racing! I give this 6 out of 5 stars!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I was gifted a ride along for my birthday and as soon as I got out of the car we got my wife in for 3 laps of her own without an appointment since the schedule was open. The whole experience was amazing. The staff was great, no wait at all, our driver Jim was awesome! We will recommend any family and friends visiting us to go for a ride.

Fantastic experience: Run very well. Everyone was beyond helpful throughout the whole process. Highly recommended doing the 8 minute track time or more. It takes about 5 minutes to get up to full speed so the last 3 minutes is all at top speed.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! After flying helicopters, airplanes, and having done some aerobatics over 30 years, this was a crazy drive. The instructor in my ear was fantastic, as was the whole staff. I can't wait to come back. I was doing 145 when the experts giving rides passed me. Might try that next. Thank you to all the staff!!

Fantastic experience: Went with a friend to Daytona and it was an amazing experience. Definitely recommend getting more than 8 mins if you can because he felt it wasn’t enough time. All staff were professional and courteous. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Husband enjoyed his NASCAR ride along experience today. He would have loved 3 full laps at speed but 2 full laps and the pit road in and out lap counted. It was perfect weather. We were scheduled for 9am ride, we actually got in the car by 10:30. Great staff!

Negative experience: I bought tickets for my husband as a birthday present. We went to Daytona at 9am on December 26th, hoping to be able to have the experience. It was pouring rain, and the front desk said they couldn't cancel until 2 pm. It kept storming and at about 2:30pm they decided to cancel. They mainly only offered openings for the next day. So we signed up for 9 am on the 27th. We get there, and even though it hasn't rained in 12 hours, the track was still wet. So we waited 2.5hrs for them to tell us that the 9am class was canceled because they had booked 200 drivers that day and with the track still not being dry enough they didn't want to inconvenience the other drivers later in the day. There are so many things that went wrong with this. We spent 8+hrs waiting combined both days. We all know that the track has to be dry, so why make people wait for that long when they knew they couldn't have drivers on the 26th. The coaches/crew on the pit were very dismissive to questions. They knowingly overbooked the second day. All the news were delivered in an unprofessional manner. The personnel working on rescheduling were just flirting with the older men who just got canceled. Even the customer service over the phone was bad. We have done Nascar and other driving experiences across the country. And this is by far the worst. If I could give zero stars, I would. Just go to AZ, NC or IN for better service

Negative experience: Waited in line for 3 hours and just as we got to the front of the line they pulled people from the back of the line and put them in front of us and said they have more time so they get to go ahead of you was absolutely ridiculous will never do this again

Positive experience: I’ve driven twice, once in the beginning of the year and in December. My first drive was good but the video didn’t work so I got another drive which I just did, again driving is great but the video was messed up with the big screen on me and small screen facing the track, they did offer to let me schedule for another free session but I felt that would be taken advantage, so I got what I got. If I had a few suggestions, I would say, definitely make sure the videos work and are correct, second I would suggest ear plug over helmet speakers, it’s not easy to hear clearly and concentrate plus the plugs would cancel some noise third, some cars seem to have some issue, at least each time I went, lastly and no fault of the experience but if you have someone in front of you that you can’t get around, it can mess up your experience which happened to me on my last drive. My spotter did try to get me around but, circumstances on the track just didn’t allow me the time to get around. Driving one of these cars is amazing even at how old they are, it would amazing to get laps instead of minutes, 8 minutes works out to three laps I think

My 20-year-old, special-needs son now has been two consecutive years and there are not enough words to express our family's appreciation for this experience. The folks at the racetrack - from Elena Meier to driver Kevin Higbee - are the true stars of this place. This will be an annual trek for our family (it's four hours from our Houston home): thank you for making our year!

Fantastic experience: Professional staff from start to finish and I had a great radio coach who gave me good constructive feedback. I made the 150mph club with a speed of 155mph in car #43. I did the Advance Driving course with David, professor driver, and I hit 175 mph!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely off the charts amazing experience! I got to experience the passenger ride which was such an incredible experience to go 180+ mph! My fiance got to be a passenger and go for a drive and it was worth every penny seeing the smile on his face the entire day!

Fantastic experience: Was lucky enough to get 40 minutes on the track. The sign in portion went really well. The class was informative and to the point. My spotter and pit crew were awesome and my car drove outstanding. My on track experience was unbelievable! Was such an indescribable experience that I’ll say you just have to do it! Envious of every race car driver that does it for a living. My sign out experience took a bit, but was in no hurry. That portion might be better organized, lots of peeps cutting the line. Overall, one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced in my life! I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Booked an 8 minute session at the Daytona International Speedway. Everyone was great. Very friendly and helpful. The only downfall was I paid for a video of me driving, and it didn't work. They could sense my frustration as this was something I was really looking forward to. Positive experience: Most miss organized event I've ever seen, made reservations for 2pm over the phone, was told to be there 15 min early was 30min early, had to wait in the sun for over 3 hrs as it ended up being first come first served and the hell with your reservation, should have showed up at noon maybe would have gotten waited on by 2 to 3. Spent over $500 to be treated like that. Not worth it! After writing my review Tyler a representative from the corporate office reached out to me and we had a couple conversations about our experience and my concern about having to wait for 3 plus hours in the sun with no shade or places to sit. They are going to try to resolve the issues I had for future events and try better. I appreciate Tyler reaching out to me not many companies would do this so I retracted my 1 and raised it to a 4. I hope that they truly try to make the customer more comfortable especially for longer than normal wait times!!

Fantastic experience: Bottom Line: Don't expect to set a track record but the experience, no matter what package you purchase, is worth it if you enjoy driving fast and want to drive a NASCAR stock car on a super speedway! Been a NASCAR fan for most of my life and a "speed addict" just as long. I have yet to go "too fast" and prior to this experience had driven as fast at 165 mph on the road. As a result, I was concerned the speed limits imposed would frustrate me. I purchased the 8 minute experience at Daytona and figured I would be limited to "low speeds" with this limited minute purchase. I haven't double checked the speeds but according to the telemetry loops they claim to use, I exceeded 143 mph. Felt up there but I could have gone faster with out the limiter chip! Absolutely easy for anyone to drive. Trust your car and it isn’t any harder than driving on the highway. The coolest part, however, is you are driving by yourself in a NASCAR stock car around Daytona International Speedway! Passing slower cars with you spotter in your ear keeping you safe and encouraged. GO FOR IT!

Negative experience: Overly strict cancellation policy. $470 wasted. Booked an experience but the Rolex 24 was on pushing the calender out a month which I didn't notice when booking. Leaving for Ireland so can't reschedule (would still have to pay another $50).

Fantastic experience: An amazing day and incredible crew at the NASCAR Racing Experience. My daughter got this for me as a birthday gift, it's been on my bucket list for a long time. From the time you check in until you leave these folks doing nothing but make sure you have an incredible experience and that you leave smiling from ear to ear. Driving a race car on the Daytona track was a surreal experience and doing it 150 MPH is something that I will never forget. My daughter did the ride-a-long and she hasn't stopped talking about how much fun it was too. I can't express completely how hard these people work to make sure each customer has a wonderful experience, they were all just amazing, thank you all so much for such a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Greatest place to see a race in the United States. You will not be disappointed. Go to the Daytona 500 or Coke Zero 400. It's the most fun you can have with your pants on.

Fantastic experience: Did the 3 lap ride along, what a blast. They make it easy to get into the track, and being on pit row was awesome. The ride is one I will never forget and I cannot believe how accessible and easy it was, the folks working there were all amazing. Driver (Mark) gave a great ride, this is so worth doing.

Fantastic experience: Tremendous experience! A must do if you enjoy racing , cars and NASCAR!. Being driven at 170 m.p.h. is awesome. Taking those 31 degree banks after that top speed is worth the price of admission. Everyone there was incredible and friendly and made it worthwhile. Special shout out to me drive the amazing ARCA series racer Logan Misuraca who drove this old guy around for 3 thrilling laps. Much success to you and thanks for the ride!

Fantastic experience: I didn’t know what to expect when I went to Daytona for the NASCAR Racing Experience, but it is definitely a 5 star moment. The staff working were very energetic and helpful, eventhough I was little bit nervous at first and it was a blast enjoying the thrilling ride of race-car and it was enjoyable being around the infield of Daytona. Definitely worth doing again! And I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Positive experience: Excellent driving experience, friendly and helpful team, nice cars, and great track. Highly recommend either the drive or ride-a-long. You go a bit faster in the ride along. I would have gone faster if it was programmed to hit higher than the 150 I achieved. You have to drive...you have to work to maintain your lines. The one star down is I wanted to bring my own drone pilot for the start and front stretch footage.

Fantastic experience: Can't fault the experience at Daytona International Speedway. As a brit, NASCAR is a bit of mystery but it seemed silly not to have a go while in the area. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the equipment is all top notch. They only downside is it leaves you wanting more to get to higher rev limits so you need a friendly bank manager:-) I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in motorsport or just just going fast.

Fantastic experience: My family had an amazing time at the driving experience! My dad started the day riding as a passenger with Jim, he was a wealth of knowledge and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day. Two of us rode as passengers and it was absolutely exhilarating, the drivers and crew were such professionals! Then was the driving experience, so awesome!! They teach you everything you need to know ahead of time and coach you through as you drive. % recommend and we will be telling all of our friends and coming back as soon as possible!

Fantastic experience: Early Birthday Surprise for my bf! We got here 12:30 pm and everything was as expected, we were a bit early but both were really excited! Our appt was for 2 pm though there were minor things that happened with an accident and his appointment was delayed. We still had a BLAST! From the service of workers to the spotter (encouragement words) saying you’re a natural! Another worker saying glad you came out! Makes you want to come back to excellent service! Top notch! Lol He loved it! From the experience he stated omg! It was so “Real & The adrenaline WOW! I got him a 8 minute race, with video & hat! He did 4 laps! More than enough time to feel G force! Fantastic experience: Took the basic three lap ride along. Coming down the back straight at 170 mgh and not slowing down into turn three is something I'll never forget. Many thanks to my driver and all the pit crew who really made the whole experience special.

Positive experience: Overall I am very glad I did the experience and it was a thrill. Having grown up in Daytona and watched almost every race from Daytona International Speedway I've long wanted to do this. There are some things to know though before you go and just use them as information for yourself. The car was #2 Dodge with Miller Lite on it; that is at least 11 years old. The transmission linkage was so sloppy it was quite difficult to find 1st vs 3rd and one of the workers commented to bystander that it was awful. The crew was great. They start you off with low RPMs (no speedometers for those who ask) and watch to see if you are driving ok and in line with the rules they tell you in the video before you go out. The video serves as the drivers meeting and it is clear they've had some trouble with people in the past and so they emphasize some things heavily. The rev limiters are set by a chip and toggle switch they control and they don't match the tachometer in the car; it was about 200-250 off on the car I drove. The guy who directed me on the radio was good but anything over about 4500RPM and I could barely hear him. As for speed it is basically set by the RPMs they permit you to drive and the car you are in. The rev limiter works by causing the engine to miss and pop and buck and once you hit it just back off a tiny bit and your are at max RPM for the session. I do no know if they are all geared the same but clearly there were some differences. I never lifted my foot off the throttle so my lap times were pretty much the max speed I hit.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say this was one of the best experiences and memories I could have on my trip to Daytona. I drove the 8 min. and recommended anyone to get it over the 5 minute its worth it to have the extra laps to go fast! Everyone involved is friendly and helpful it was a great time and cant wait to get to drive again! Also im 6"3 270lbs for anyone wondering about size or weight and I didn't have any problems with suit or getting in and out of the car. Thanks again to everyone who works there!

Fantastic experience: EDIT: Received a call from the corporate office last week regarding the backdrop photos. I am so relieved that they had them and was able to provide them to us. Thankful for the customer service and their willingness to help my family retain these memories. *********** I could leave 0 stars I would. I purchased this "experience" for my husband's birthday. We even upgraded for additional minutes which was an extra $150 once we got there. They took backdrop photos of my husband and son and I wanted to purchase them. However, after a week there still not on the site. I've called and keep getting the run around as to why they're not there and was just told if there not there by now they won't be. Really?! For the price of this experience it would have been great to have the memories for such a costly event.

Fantastic experience: I did the Mario Andretti Nascar racing experience at Daytona and it was awesome. The staff were great and friendly. It was exhilarating going 152mph around Daytona.

Fantastic experience: My wife got me the 8 minute driver experience and my daughter did the ride along. It was an experience, a memory that we will never forget. Also the gentleman on headset (Jeff) that spoke to me during the run was great. Thank you guys, we will be back.

Fantastic experience: My Father in Law and I did the 3 lap ride along at Daytona. It was short but awesome. The drivers took us for a thrilling ride upwards of 170 mph. The video package is worth it to remember what you experienced. The whole crew from the girls in the trailer, to the guys on pit road, and the drivers really make the experience all about you. Super nice people. We even ended up having a dead battery on our rental and one of the guys (Drew) came over with one of their vehicles and his own jumper cables to help us. They went above and beyond what they needed to and we all appreciated them. Highly recommend. We've already decided we're coming back and next time we're going to drive!

Fantastic experience: Holy smokes!! This was awesome!! Did the double ride along because the kids didn’t want to do any laps. I was pretty nervous until they put my helmet on. Then I was a little less nervous. Standing by the car before getting in I could feel the heat from the tires and engine. The G-forces were insane especially around the curves. I lost track of laps after lap three. I will definitely be coming back!!

Fantastic experience: My nephew and I did the 6 lap (rider) Experience yesterday (5/23) at Daytona! Holy cow! Fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations! 180 in the backstretch and driver (Mark) didn't let up much in the corners. Exhilarating! It wasn't busy that day, everyone was great and even if you're not a race fan, you HAVE TO do this! We bought the "better deal" pkg which included a video, hat, tshirt, and photo plaque. The video turned out great and if you want to relive the experience, it was worth the additional $140 IMO. JUST ONE STRONG SUGGESTION: check your ticket after registering at the mobile booth at trackside. The lady who checked us in was nice, but failed to give us our proper (yellow) placard indicating to the crew we were 6 lap customers. My driver slowed into the pits after 3 laps and I motioned to him that I paid for 6. He cruised thru the pits, gave the 'go around sign' with his hand, then punched it into turn 1 for 3 more! My nephews driver dropped him off after 3 and we brought it to the attention of the crew and they made it right. He got his 3 more laps, but it would have been better had we had our 6 laps at top speed, uninterrupted. All in all it didnt detract a lot from our experience. Just a recommendation to check your ticket (armband) after registering and, like my old boss used to say: inspect what you expect! Do it! Hold on and enjoy!! Oh, and some earplugs if you're sensitive to loud noise. It is LOUD! I'll wear them next time! Fire it up!

Fantastic experience: Tyler Kissel of NASCAR Racing Experience is the "MAN"!!!!!!!!! Wow what an incredible experience we had a Charlotte Motor Raceway Tyler invited my brother and I up to tour the NASCAR facility and race the advanced racing experience at Charlotte Motor Speedway My brother and I raced the NASCAR experience at Daytona race track in March 2021. We both did 48 minutes on the track in a car by ourself. In the old days they had you follow a car in front of you with a Pro driver then they changed it to placing a Pro driver in the right seat that coached you. Now the the experience is even better you drive and no one is in the car with you and you have a spotter that talks to you. The recent Daytona experience was good but not what we wanted in regards to speed. I have acquired several hundred miles on the Daytona track with the Nascar and Richard Petty Racing Experience over the last decade. I decided to contact the person in charge of the NASCAR Racing operations , Tyler Kissel, to see if my brother and I could achieve the ultimate racing experience. After telling Tyler what we were looking for he suggested we travel to Charlotte Motor Speedway where he could help us obtain the ultimate racing experience and give us a tour of the facility.He personally took us on a tour of the facility the day before. We were able to meet the staff and see the shop that the cars are built and worked on. The following day we were on the track at 7:30AM with a 5800 RPM chip that allowed us both to obtain speeds of 168 plus MPH. We each had a professional driver in a car in front of us and we're told to maintain at least 3 car lengths behind them. They gradually got us up to speeds until they were comfortable we could handle full throttle and then the speeds were just awesome. It was like racing to catch the pro driver and try a little drafting. The laps became so fast you were not able to realize how much time or how many laps you had done when we had to go in. Since my brother and I are tied with one win each we have made this into a championship and will race Nashville, Talladega, possible Texas and finish the championship at Daytona.Great balls of fire Tyler your the man!!!!!! . Fantastic experience: This will be a lengthy (BUT EXCELLENT) review. My wife surprised me with the 40 minute experience for birthday because she knew that I really enjoyed cars. I was ecstatic to say the least. While I had heard of this, I would have never purchased this myself to do. She decided to purchase the Daytona experience because of the excellent reviews many told her that this is the pinnacle of these experiences. The original experience was set for back in October of 2020 but due to both Covid-19 and the weather (terrible thunderstorms), we were forced to re-schedule and return on April 3, 2021. The only issue with this process was that we had to show up to the facility, during the rain storm, for the company to complete the cancellation and rescheduling process. This matter could definitely be refined but they were really open with the dates and allowed you to select any date of your choice to return. We returned April 3, 2021 and the weather and forecast was great! I think it was truly meant for us to go this date because this experience was truly one for the ages! We received excellent customer service from check-in to check-out and the team........Lets just say I think I have made two new friends. Drew Gale (My main POC) made me feel very relaxed and provided me with a one of a kind experience. He even found me on FB afterwards to provide me with extra pics he took of me in the car! My spotters name was David Le Beau and he was awesome! He made me feel very comfortable and safe while being very patient and calm with me. These two men provided the best experience I could have possibly received and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you ask specifically for them and make sure to tell them Ray sent you (lol). All in all, while the experience is considered a little pricey for the package we purchased, I highly recommend you get the longer experience because it truly gives you time to get acclimated with both the track and the team which will get you to your maximum speed. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I couldn't have asked for a better team. Thank you guys for providing me with a lifelong memory and I HIGHLY RECOMMED this experience to any and everyone! Go NOW!

Fantastic experience: so much fun if you are a nascar fan you have to do it

Negative experience: There was a storm coming, it was all over the news and on the forecast for days. Instead of canceling they tell you to show up to then make you wait and tell everybody the obvious, that the experiences are canceled due to weather. Disappointed since we drove 1 hr and other people came from far. Not sure why they couldn’t call the cancellations sooner when the weather predictions were very clear. Im sure that when we get to actually do the experience it will be a fun experience, but im going to have to rely on the forecast and not the staff.

Fantastic experience: I have to give an A+ to everyone at Nascar Racing Experience. I went Friday 7/10/20 along with my brother and brother in law to Daytona. We all did the 8 minute experience. The staff was great from the moment we got there until the end. Driving the car is just outrageous, 150 mph is really fast, especially in the turns. The staff did a great job of preparing you driving, and the spotter was excellent. The spotter talks you through your whole race which definitely helped. Loved the picture and video package. Don't listen to the complainers, you go fast, picture packages are never cheap. Looking forward to the next time.

Fantastic experience: This whole experience was absolutely fantastic. From the driving itself to the complete staff, this is an experience you will never forget. We went a few weeks ago and when we came back this time for my dad to drive for Fathers Day I was extremely surprised that every staff member there remembered us. The customer service was almost as great as the driving itself. I would recommend this experience to anyone that wants an adrenaline rush that you will remember forever.

Positive experience: I was disappointed with my driving experience ,I had did the experience in 2015 ,2016,did a ride a long in 2017 and went back in 2018 for the driving experience to get to be in the car by myself but was very disappointed that I didn't get to go any faster than I'd because I had already drove the other cars at 165 mph and only got half the laps I had gotten before. After it changed to NASCAR racing experience it became a commercial thing,Richard petty experience was more of a family thing they had three events a day and this new owner has an event every hour ,to much hurry and don't get as much time on the track and pictures are too pricy.

Fantastic experience: I am Still HYPED UP after driving the #43 car and proving to MYSELF, I am capable of driving at a much FASTER speed and did it SAFELY!! My driving dream happened on 12 February 2020. Everyone was so NICE and could SEE my EXCITEMENT......or maybe they could FEEL it......my FACE and SMILE kinda gives me a way!! This was a HUGE check, off of my Bucket List for my 60th birthday!! I've dreamed of this for many years........YES.........it will happen again!!! " ) I talked with Allie in the office a couple of times...she was very kind and helpful. George directed us to check-in. Tammy was so sweet, found her smiling at the check-in desk. Our instructor was Awesome....I apologize for missing his name. Paul fitted me with my helmet. Albert strapped me in the car and was so helpful and kind and FUN!! He could also SEE my excitement and my words were at Warp Speed as well. Nash my Spotter made it even more FUN and kept me SAFE and made me feel that I was truly doing a great job and made me feel Proud of Me!! Positive experience: I wanted the 24 car but with helmet on I could not get in. They put me in the 43 and put helmet on after I got in. They should have done that when I tried to get in the 24. Then after I got no picture and the lady took a picture but I did not get one with Richard Petty autographed that I paid for. It was very busy , my group was 1 hour behind. Once in the car it was exciting. I will do it again but drive.

Fantastic experience: I did the 3 lap ride along sat Jan 18 ,2020 you see those cars on tv it does no justice whats going on inside those cars going that fast i dont know how those cars stay on track going up those banks the G forces you can really feel them during ride along you really have to adjust your eyes to take in going that fast . the sound the feel the speed is addictive , i highly recommend this ride if you like speed and going around steep banking turns like the pros do on tv . you will have a real good idea what those racer have to endure for 2 hrs race . it worth every dollar to do this ride along at Daytona international speedway , i will be going back do it again

Negative experience: Due to hurricane / tropical storm we were unable to make the reservation. Not willing to refund as I don’t live in the area and didn’t feel safe. They say I forfeited my ride.

Fantastic experience: AWESOME! My lovely girlfriend gave this as s gift for my 50th bday ;)) Staff was super nice and helpful. I can’t believe I drove by myself on the world-famous speedway at 150mph with basic but great instruction. I was on the rookie experience package (approx $500?) and it was 4 or 5 laps—heck maybe more but who counts when you’re driving at those speeds lol. I’m seriously thinking about returning. I didn’t feel too much pressure to buy the expensive pics/videos-just politely declined. Only comment is they should launder the driver’s suits every day b/c mine was quite smelly of sweat and grime. Other than that it was fantastic! You should try it. Vroom!!!!

Fantastic experience: I just did my King Experience a few hours ago and I still can't wipe the excitement off my face. The experience was a lot better than I thought. The spotter was so awesome and helpful and the staff were the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. It took me a couple of laps to get used to the fact that you don't let up the gas in the corners. Once i got that, then I had a blast and I will be going back again. Don't let some reviewers tell you that you don't go fast enough or they limit your speed ...etc. I didn't care even they only allowed me to go 60 MPH, it's all about the experience and thrill of it. I will do it all over again.

Fantastic experience: Ein unglaubliches Gefühl als Beifahrer in einem echten NASCAR! Vor allem die Kräfte in den Steilkurven (Banking) sind noch extremer als man es sich vorstellt. Und dann natürlich dieser Sound!! Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Sollte man sich als Racingfan nicht entgehen lassen. Danach noch durch die Hall of Fame und in den Fan Shop!

Positive experience: My sister and I bought my father this for his 60th birthday. We took the very long trip from Vermont to do this. First, the directions to get from the entrance of the track to the "experience " was horrible. We drove around the inside of the track for 20 minutes, everyone we asked had no idea the location and kept turning us around. Once we finally found it, the class started, you couldn't hear the instructor even from the front row, spoke low and thick southern accent. FINALLY race time, we got to the track and saw that the 8am class had not even gone, it's now 12:00, 80 plus degrees in the sun and our 60 year old father in a hot racing suit. Very disorganized!!! And still no one could answer when things would start, sequence of events NOTHING! So much money spent and things were very disorganized, confusing, uncomfortable and stressful!!! Also your only allowed to drive between the yellow line and the first white line, you cannot go in the lane near the wall, there were the "riders" in that lane. People paying to ride while a professional drives. Half the fun is driving that crazy corner. Tell your pit guy on the headset that you want the 150mph club! Hopefully he will let you drive the car in order to achieve it. Overall my father did say it was the best experience of his life.

Fantastic experience: Yeah! This was a bucket-list item for me and my wife. Expensive, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was over way too quickly, almost no time to process it, but the memory lives on. Everything happened so fast, we walked up, put on our helmets and got in the car, then 3 laps and it was over, but it certainly was thrilling. I would recommend staying away from the expensive video package they try to add on. It's just not worth what they are charging. We got it, but you can see the same thing on a race day on tv with the exception of seeing yourself sitting in the car. If it was a quarter of the price, maybe it would be okay, but that would still be pretty high. And they want $25 for one picture. No, thanks.

Fantastic experience: I have done this three times and every time it's an incredibly great experience. First two times was with an instructor in the passenger seat of the car. Third time was last week and I drove on my own, with a spotter giving instructions over a two-way radio. All I can say is that it's the most incredible few minutes of sheer terror and fun. I did go faster with the instructor (165 mph) than on my own, where the car was rev-limited to 5,000 rpm and 150 mph. If you are not a confident driver, they will rev-limit your car to less than 5,000 rpm, resulting in a slower speed. I also see complaints about the high cost of photos and videos. Yes, they are costly, but you don't have to buy them. I've gotten great pictures and videos from friends that accompanied me. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. Easy access off of I-95 and plenty of parking, which is always free.

Positive experience: This is for my recent experience at Daytona: DRIVE: 4.5 stars. How can you not have a good time driving the track at Daytona? But I had problems with comms throughout my 3 runs. CAR and EQUIPMENT: 4.0 stars. Car handled great, practically drove itself. But that rev limiter :( It seems from two different experiences that I've done with Petty/NRE that the 5000RPM limit is really 4800, and the 5400RPM limit is really 5200 STAFF: 4.0 stars. My buckler was awesome. My spotter was great too, and I have to give him credit for trusting me as much as he did. Crew chief was OK. Some of the other track staff were less than cheerful. COST: 3.5 stars. NRE is the most expensive, but they are the only company that runs at Daytona. Lucky for me it was an Xmas gift from my lovely wife :) Was it worth it? Definitely

Fantastic experience: Bought the Rookie experience for our sons 16th birthday! Everyone from check-in to the crew at the pits made it fun and memorable! 100% would encourage anyone who loves cars, racing or just the roar of a engine to do this! We bought the in-car video, it is a really cool keepsake!! Yes it’s not cheap but such a great experience and memorable event!

Negative experience: Completed the driver experience in Daytona this last Saturday 5-12-18. Car was set up well but found it a huge dissapointment to have rev limited car at 4600rpm indicated. Could leave the car floored all the way around track not lifting once. Spent more time with eyes in car trying to stay off rev limiter. Should be able to drive not having annoyance of rev limiter, would be a lot safer. Wish I would have saved my money for a couple track events to run my car at instead of wasting my money. Like going to a strip club, little bit of fun but no happy ending.

Fantastic experience: Had a great ride today, but totally forgot to thank the driver. Black car with red 26 or 28. Please forward my thanks to him. He gave me a great experience. Told him I owned a Cobra and I think he wanted to show me some real speed. Thanks again to the driver.

Negative experience: The family purchased the EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME for my father. It is a bit pricey but with sound of the experience and how happy we knew it would make him we felt it would be great. Dad raced in NASCAR back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Mostly local tracks on and around Bristol. That is why we wanted him to have “The Experience of a lifetime”. Which he did enjoy being on the track more than anything. It was the promises, double charges to credit cards-his and mine, wait times and the outright robbery of their picture and video prices that should come with any package a driver pics. It is true that you don’t have to buy the pictures but they know you want some piece of reference to show what you have done. That is were the now NASCAR experience has truly disappointed and their lack of customer service let my Father, Family and myself down in a way I have never seen. We own a small business and strive everyday to make sure our customers come before anything. We scheduled the early session and believe we had to be there by 8:30. My father is 73 and it was July in Daytona so we wanted to get it done early. So we all 16 of us excited to see how he could do and how excited he was. They had their pre race meeting and instructions. We all see him walking out in his race suite and ready. Fast forward to about 3 hours later when sweat is pouring off of everyone especially my father! He is in better shape than probably anyone there but a race suite in July is rough on anyone. As he was ready to they let him know that the printer would not be able to print his times at the moment but assured him that they would mail them. He asked point blank if he would receive them because he could do it at another time. They confirmed they would send the times. We all watch as he walks to get in the car. Cameras in hand and videos rolling. He fires up the car and off he goes. The first eight laps go by and he is faster and faster with every lap. Which we were only able to time 7 laps as we didn’t realize the first lap pulling out was 1 of the 8 we thought. Second session same faster and faster. At least as close as we could tel with our cell phone timers. Wasn’t exact but maybe close enough. Anyway he gets out after the last set and looks like a kid in a candy store. We all gather look at his pictures and see we have to buy it and the flash drive and of course a T-shirt. How can you not this is the Experience of a lifetime!? Fast forward a couple of weeks. Dad asks if maybe his times came to my office. They hadn’t so I call and inquire about the times. Customer service apologized and would make sure they got those right out. 2 weeks longer....nothing. I call again and speak to another person....again we will get those right out. September....nothing. I call again this being 2 months later they apologize and get me with Briana who is on the track. I leave a message and she does respond quickly and even leaves me her cell phone number. I am thinking finally someone that can help. I call we go through the same thing. Apologies and again nothing now it’s the end of November and I call again. I speak with Allen I believe which has a problem finding my fathers information. After being on hold for over 10 minutes he sees everything and even when I spoke with him backnin September. He informs me they no longer do lap times but can send me a certificate of completion for my dad that really only wanted to know what he ran and how he did. I explain that’s not what we were promised and asked to speak to his supervisor. A few more minutes of being on hold Jennifer the last person in customer service that anyone can talk to apparently. She wants me to explain the situation which I know Allen had been talking to her about it the entire time. I explain how we were promised something and felt they needed to do something to make this right. She restated we would receive the certificate. But not the lap times. The $500 in video pictures and shirt show he completed it. Just not how good. Never been more let down by a company and jerked around.
