Semi Academy Academy Testing

Negative experience: This the worst place to take your driver test every time my son take it he fail it already been three times the instructor are rude and mean and they fail you for the most stupid things.

Negative experience: I went here Two times for my road test and failed both times, the first time was partially my fault because I failed the parking and only had one attempt.(I watched him give multiple other people 2 attempts at parking). Then my 2nd test I was doing perfect and then at a stop sign when I was turning right, I was inching forward so I could see down the road more to make sure it was clear before I turned, a truck switched lanes right in front of me and sped up so the instructor Jim yelled stop multiple times while at this time I was still behind the stop sign. I can absolutely confirm that this place is there just to steal your money and he’s not even hiding it. When he hopped out of the vehicle back at the place he had a smirk on his face and said see you next time. I wouldn’t recommend this place to even the most experienced driver in the world because they would still find a way to fail you.

Negative experience: ZERO stars, go anywhere else!!!! Jim was intimidating, rude and unprofessional. Everything he said was rude and scripted. He made it obvious he was in charge to both my daughter and I. I knew moment we sat at his desk. My daughter sat in the chair in front of his desk and he barked at me to sit in the chair exactly at the end of the desk, facing him like I was a small child in trouble at school. He did the vehicle safety check and rudely asked my daughter if she was dyslexic, because she confused the right and left blinkers during the inspection. Then he told me not to "make them come get" me after the parking portion. She passed parking with flying colors we got into the car. My daughter sniffled from allergies and he barked again, asking her if she was sick. Then he proceeded to bark his scripted instructions at her, had her verbally agree by saying "yes". Barked his scripted instructions at me and had me verbally agree by saying "yes". Part of his speach was "there will be zero small talk". Super!! Before we pulled out of the driveway he started yelling at my daughter to "stop, stop, stop, you almost just killed all of us"! There was a car coming and we were on gravel, after he huffed and puffed, because she didn't taken an opportunity sooner! His yelling was an extreme exageration and no one would have died! He immediately failed her, told her to go in and reschedule for tomorrow! Are you kidding me!!!! She has since passed with another company who was surprised she didn't pass! I have contacted the State of Michigan and filed a complaint about Jim and this company! This is not anything I have ever done. I am not a blame pusher or complainer, but this experience was absolutely unacceptable! Jim is not the be all, end all, almighty and powerful!! The other lady we came in contact with were the only bright spot! Save yourself time, money, stress and teen tears! Use Ezway in Kalamazoo! Nicole is amazing and when I told her about the PTSD Jim gave my daughter, she was very understanding, patient and human! And made small talk with both my daughter and I! Consider there are no comments from this company on their reviews as they don't care.

Negative experience: The place is horrible. Examiner was rude and impolite. Had something The next day he said he didn't care and that I should redo the test next day!

Fantastic experience: My experience here was great! Jim was my instructor and I was super nervous going into it but I had a calm drive and got a fist bump at the end saying I did great! Would definitely recommend this place for your drivers test.
