Negative experience: Very disappointed with the lack of structure .I thought going to school to study something the instructors are supposed to instruct instead of just expecting you to figure it out . There is one instructor that is amazing he was very helpful but the rest were crap .

Negative experience: ❌ DON’T COME HERE ❌ The instructors on this school are ridiculous I had to learn the most of the backing and pre trip by myself with no help from the instructors because there was no one available. 2 of the instructors; Shae and Dallin are the ❌WORST❌ they don’t pay attention to the students and just sitting in their own cars texting the entire time. They are a joke this school is a mess.

Fantastic experience: Become a good trucker even thanks to Apex, after the school I started to drive immediately as a company driver. Was their care and tips I never had an issue. I highly recommend Apex for the quality, the integrity and honesty of the entire group. Try hey teach you only how to drive, the regulations and the practice of how to this and that The real challenge is to deal with companies that want to hire you. Pretty dishonest and bully. Remember always what your instructor said when you have an issue, the truck is supposed to not leak exhaust in the cabin, so buy a carbon monoxide sensor and if it alarms during the job ir the idling, don’t think too much, put the truck out of order, call the company and if they starts to makes stories drive til the next shop, say NO. Call the DOT and let them know that the company pretend you drive in violation. If you don’t do this, the company will retaliate and put in the black spots. Companies are not families, are commercial entities that don’t care about you driver. Don’t be fooled by great words. Money is money , words are words. Protect yourself, you are alone while driving, only you are the one who cares of you.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever, the instructors. Put you in a vehicle, you know nothing about. And tell you to learn while they sit in their car. Sleeping and smoking cigarettes on their phone.
I am sorry for the delay in my response. Other students that witnessed that day had different stories. So, I was waiting on some information that could explain why you escalated so quickly that day. The information did make the situation apparent. It is sad that you felt you needed to go the direction that you did.

Fantastic experience: This is an outstanding’ school. The staff here are quality people with the know how to work with all kinds of individuals. In my case, I came into this school with what could only be described as a mild case of “big truck – PTSD”. The professionals here at Apex helped me to resolve this early on, and guided me through the program all the rest of the way. The problem I was having was not that I couldn’t drive, the fact is, that I already drive my own car for service platforms such as Uber and Ruck and have a clean driving record. The difficulty I was having with the big trucks, however, was that previously I had attended another CDL trucking school, which I will not name, and at that school the program was confined within a rigid timeframe that did not allow recovery time for things like; illness, or for personal priorities, or study fatigue, or things like that. The class schedule at that place consisted of just a few weeks of long 8hr days of class time, accompanied by a large volume of online homework that had to be completed by certain dates. As a result, by the time we were behind the wheel for our drive training I was so wiped out from study fatigue and lack of sleep that I felt like I was on the verge of committing some, for sure, mental misstep and getting us into a traffic accident. At that point, I told the instructor there that I was pulling myself from behind the wheel. Let me emphasize, “that” was at “that” school!!! Now, fast forward to the day when I walked through the door at Apex Trucking School. One of the first things I learned was that they don’t run their school like that place I had just come from. They want you to take sick days off; they want you to take care of personal priorities; they want you to recover from study fatigue and anything else that would not be conducive to a good learning environment. To get to the point here, when they first started putting me behind the wheel of their trucks, one of the first things they did was help me get over my fear. It was the fear I had had of being in such a large vehicle and being responsible for the safety of other drivers around me. Even though I was no longer fatigued and traumatized like were the conditions at that other school, I still had some of those same anxieties that had to be worked out. Bryan and Hayden were instrumental in helping me achieve that. On the other side, Dallin also helped me immensely by keeping me on my toes when necessary, and not letting me slip into complacency, which in my opinion, could be hazardous or problematic if the truck were not being driven correctly. To make a long story short, these guys really know their business. By the time I was on my last few training drives through the city, Haden said I was handling the truck like a pro. Now I have a CDL and I have these guys and everyone else at Apex to thank for it. Special thanks also to: Arilyn, Makenzie, Shea, and Junji, Who’s roles also played an important part in my success there at Apex.

Fantastic experience: The training I am receiving is hands on and in-depth. The instructors are always available to assist me with answers to my questions, no matter how small the question may seem. I would recommend APEX CDL Training to any individual looking to further their career and driving skills. 100% satisfaction. I successfully passed my CDL testing today. This would not have been possible, but for the excellent staff at APEX and their attention to proper hands on training and instruction. Fantastic experience: This school is great and their instructors and testers are awesome! I went to another school and failed the driving 3 times. I went to Apex and worked a few hours with their instructor named Haden. He was great I learned a lot of skills driving with him and was able to pass the test the first time. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but positive results with Apex. The instructor's are great and help you to understand what it takes to get you to pass your skills test and to become the CDL driver you are wanting to become. They each have their own way of training you and you consistently learn new skills as each day passes. They get very personal with each student and help you work on the things that you personally need help with. They are not like some CDL training schools where they have one instructor with multiple students and your personal needs don't get met. I highly recommend Apex Trucking School and am very thankful this is the CDL Training School I went through.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't have asked for a better school.i had went to another school before the instructor would just sleep instead of actually helping learn to drive correctly on top of that not one of the truck would pass the s federal required pretrial inspection and actually made me drive in the rain knowing the windshield wipers didn't work .......but this school went above and beyond to make sure the trucks are safe and comfortable for their students the instructors and owner are amazing and because of this school not even 2 weeks after passing my cdl test I have a good paying job and I'm so grateful for apex and all they did to help me .....you want an amazing school apaex is the school you want!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m a recent graduate (today) of Apex. I for the most part was extremely pleased with the entire experience. Students are hard on vehicles and break them and some days seemed to be overbooked so of course there were times when I wished I received more street driving. However all that aside as I do believe that some things are out of their control, the overall experience was fantastic. The instructors are very helpful and have their heart into training the students. They want each student to pass their test with flying colors and it shows. I really cannot say enough about all the instructors and support staff. The owner/tester also puts the students at ease when it comes to the test. Definitely makes you feel comfortable with the experience. I am extremely satisfied and look forward to my new career. Thank you Arilyn, Bryan, Brittany, Matt and Ricardo. You guys rock

Negative experience: I was stopped at a red light and a student driver sideswiped my car striking my mirror. I had to chase down the semi because the student and instructor didn’t stop. Once i finally got their attention to pull over the instructor told police he didn’t believe they hit me, he also refused to acknowledge or speak to me the entire duration of the ordeal. This place is unethical and irresponsible. This was nearly a year ago and their insurance company has denied the claim because their was no video and the police report was inaccurate. The insurance company wrote in an email that APEX also noted the police report inaccuracies. To this day APEX refuses to take responsibility and their instructor that was party to a hit and run is still training students.
Update - after looking into this matter, I told him that I'm not saying the accident didn't happen, but that it couldn't have happened the way he said. But I still offered to have our mechanic fix his mirror. He stopped responding after that. I tried reaching out to him once more but still no answer. Yes I saw the police report and I do believe it was inaccurate. I talked with the insurance and gave them all the information I had, not much since I wasn't there. Some things just didn't make sense. I never knew what the insurance decided until now. Can you email me more details about it?

Positive experience: I can't really say anything bad about APEX. I got what I paid for. They were a little understaffed due to COVID stuff but, Brittany and Brian knocked it out of the park and worked their knuckles to the bone to help where they could. Office staff is friendly, just make sure you check and double check your appointment times. They play by all the rules so if you're looking to ease on through it, save your money.

Negative experience: ❌WHATEVER YOU DO DON’T TEST HERE!!!❌ This place is a sneaky money pit! They try to make you take their classes at all costs and if you decide just to test with them without giving them more money for their classes they will make up reasons to fail you because “It’s up to their discretion” Don’t fall into their trap! Go somewhere else where the instructor will be helpful and kind! The woman that owns this place is not helpful and very sneaky with grading! If you don’t want to throw your money away you’ve been warned!!
Thank you so much for your comments and allowing me to know what students are thinking. Yes, we do try to get everyone to take some training. But not for the reasons you’ve stated, let me explain. I hate failing people on the test, it is so hard to do. Those that take some training usually pass it on their first time, but not always. The pre-trip is usually what gets them and we do push that one, but then it’s only $15 to entice people to take it. It is so worth it. While testing your husband the first time, he really struggled just driving the truck over to the testing spot. He did very well on the pre-trip and passed. But he didn’t do so well on the backing test. The backing test is black and white, you get points for crossing boundary lines or pulling up. There is no discretion there, the state secretly watches us to make sure we are honest and doing the testing right. Your husband crossed boundary lines 5 times and used many pull-ups, resulting in his failing that portion. Because he struggled to shift the truck and had failed his backing, I did try to get him to take some training. I did not want to fail him again. Failing someone is the worst part of this business. But he refused training saying he couldn’t afford it. I told him that it was cheaper than failing the test again. But it was clear he didn’t want any, so we let it go. On his second test, he only crossed the boundary line once and pulled forward fewer times, resulting in him passing the backing portion. He brought his own truck this time because he thought he could shift it better. He didn’t, he was lost out of gear many times, grinding it, trying to get it into gear. He coasted through many intersections not being in control of his vehicle and was holding up traffic. This is dangerous, would you want us to pass people to drive on our streets when they can’t shift? New drivers do tend to grind, but his shifting was dangerous. Then this morning when I tested him again, his shifting was so much better. I was happy that he got more experience shifting and worked out his problems. He was on his way to passing his road test, when he took a turn and his trailer went right over the curb. He saw it, he knew it happened. When I told him that hitting a curb is an auto-fail (this is not to our discretion either), he was very disappointed of course and said he didn’t know that. Had he taken any training, they would have taught him that. Had I not failed him and the state was watching, I would be finished. I was kind to him, we chatted all through his drives, I found him very pleasant. I squeezed him in today when I was already full. But I can’t be helpful, I can’t do any training or then I can’t test him. So yes, we do push training but not for the reasons you suggested. We do it because it actually saves them money. If we were only in it for the money, we wouldn’t offer any training and just let them keep failing their tests.

Fantastic experience: Great school the receptionist is kinda slow and weird but all the teachers know how to teach well, and there is good amount of teachers to students so they teach with hands on experience and not lectures.

Fantastic experience: Mann where do I start, this school showed me a lot and taught me some very valuable life lessons haha, big thanks to Matt for teaching me my pre trip and staying very patient with me, couldn’t have done it without him. Thanks to Richard and Alex I was able to be very comfortable with my backing with all the tips and tricks they had to offer, and a huge thank you and appreciation to Wyatt for teaching me how to drive and shift properly, an amazing instructor. Fantastic experience: This school was the craziest yet best driving school I've been to. Learning from all the different instructors was a great experience. Wyatt was calm and patient with me and let me drive. He taught me so many tricks that helped pass my test with flying colors! He gave the testing experience so i knew how to stay calm. Brian wants you to pass it the first time with great instructions. He’s very thorough. Matt helped me come up with words to remember the pre trip with all the parts I had a hard time remembering. Britney helped teach me to speed up with the pre trip after i had all the terminology. Richard was great at helping get me on the schedule and boosting my confidence. Fantastic experience: I just called to get some information with the school and reinstating my licence, i talk to J.J and he has very good personal skills. Hes new and still did what he could to provide me with the information that i needed. Any other school that i have talk to were very rude, werent helpful what so ever. If a school can be judged by first impressions then id choose thos school.

Congratulation's my friend you are an amazing driver. Word of advice time: Just because some dimwit is going 70 mph and other suckers follow him doesn't mean its safe. Personally when the roads turn to ice. I just pull over in a safe place and wait for them to treat the roads or until they are totally cleared up. It's a great time to get a restart be safe Alex

SAFETY is the most important thing in this business!!!! Our family's share the road with our new graduates. Not to mention we want YOU going home to your family safe and sound. I have designed every step of the teaching process at Apex having 40+ years of driving in commercial vehicles. In approximately 1974 or 75, I had my first total brake failure in a fully loaded dump truck! It was rush hour traffic in Southern California traffic when the light turned yellow I hit the brakes and the brake peddle snapped and went straight to the floor. I had no emergency brake and the horn didn't work. All I could do is turn my steering wheel to the right and skid trying to not hit the cars going through the green light. Went up on half my wheels, turned left to get back on all 6 or 10 wheels can't remember how many wheels. I was still going to hit cars I so turned supper fast again, got up on half the wheels again but made the corner without hitting any cars, and managed to get her back down on all wheels again. No rocks were in the load so the dirt that spilled on the people turning left didn't do any damage, and nobody said a word. Also at the backing range, we teach methods (not formulas) to pass the test and those methods work in the real world. You will NEVER be taught to pull back to the start position and start a formula over. We teach you how to fix it, just like you have to in the real world. Fantastic experience: Real talk, these guys are unreal. Here’s the deal, it’s tough to manage a schedule with full time students and hourly students. But they do it and they do it well. I did hourly sessions with them for a week and they killed it!! They saw where my strength were and helped me out with my weaknesses. When I was ready to take the test, they let me know and encouraged me. They were right too! I took the test and passed it first try. Shout out to Alex, Rich, Brian and Britney for the quick instruction but being so thorough with me. Thank you guys.
Right on Bro, you are so correct it's a logistical nightmare to try to merge the Two, Hourly, Full Course, Fast Track and Re-fresh together. We do the best we can to try to keep everyone Satisfied Always. I've got it figured out though. I need to get one more truck that's dedicated to hourly only most of the time. Thank you Youhannis for the good review. I would like to explain a little bit more about your situation to those reading this. Mr. Badi was only supposed to have to do the road test. The State of Georgia out of the blue decided to make him do all 3 tests over, Prp-trip, Backing, and Road test. He ran very low on funds because of the extra training he needed to be able to pass all 3 tests. I can't stand to see anybody spend all they have and not get their CDL. We gave Mr. Badi the extra training for free. Arilyn and I, Alex (the owners of Apex) care about every person that walks through our door. Mr. Badi came all the way from Georgia with the faith that we would take good care of him. It breaks our hearts to see someone spend every dime they have and not succeed in getting their CDL. Please don't take this reply wrong and think we are giving away free training here, that's not the message I'm trying to convey to you. The message is: you are not just another dollar to us. Negative experience: The trainers on this school is ridiculous I had to learn the most of the backing and pre trip by myself with no help from the instructor because there was no one available when someone is available who is Richard, he doesn’t pay attention to me and he just texting the entire time. He is joke this school is a mess.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience.One thing I want you and everyone that goes to Apex to know is you can always talk to me if you have a problem. I was told by one of my instructors you tipped him $50. That seems to me like you weren’t really disappointed with him. You did get your CDL from Apex, you failed to mention that in your review. Word of advice, just because the other numskulls are going fast in CMV's in bad weather doesn't mean it's safe. As a matter of fact especially when the roads are slick it's NOT safe!!! That's exactly why you see the 50 truck pile up. Everybody followed one dimwit thinking he must know something I don't. Do not fall into into that trap, if the roads are slick, it's best not to drive at all until they groom the roads. At the very lease go super SLOW, be safe, Alex

Thank you for the detailed review! We are lucky to have such a good crew put together, it's extremely hard to find such patient and skilled trainers and testers. If I remember correctly, you just did a few hours with us. A Semi truck going down a fairly small hill in Draper Utah yesterday faded it's brakes and the driver might not make it. With our full course we do take you up in the mountains. I don't think you received that training. 90% of your braking while going down hills while loaded, not just mountains, needs to be done with the motor not just the brakes. Choosing the correct gear is the most important part of the process. Some mountains are steeper on one side of the range than the other so you can't just pick one gear lower than the side you went up. The fact of the matter is if you are going down the mountain in to high of a gear and you don't downshift you will fade your brakes out crash and burn. We try not to have to downshift going down mountains. The reality is if you need to you must! If you get a chance please come take a mountain drive with us my friend your life may depend on it, thank you, Alex

On a motorcycle we always do this to save our lives because if somebody runs a red light they will splat us like a bug. On a class a vehicle 80,000 pounds we clear the intersection exactly the same way for the opposite reason.If somebody runs that light or stop sign they will splat like a bug on our tractor or trailer. Thank you for the great review Jake. Thank you also for taking the hour or so of training before the test. I make sure the office staff tells people that want to come in and test. That they have a 98% chance of failing if they don’t do an hour or so of training prior to the test even if they’ve been driving for 30 years. As you found out in the training the pre-trip has some really precise stuff that Has to be exact It’s an auto fail. Also one or two of the backing exercises on the test can be very hard even for very experienced drivers. As you found out we’ve got some really easy ways to do the backing exercises. The cool thing about that is everything they taught you out on the range can be used in the field. I have made that a company policy at Apex. Nothing out in the backing range is allowed to be taught unless it works in the real world. As far as I know Apex is the only school that has that policy and we are proud of it. Fantastic experience: Alex and Richard were such wonderful trainers. I came here as a third party tester. I let my CDL expire and had to retake the test again. I highly recommend paying for an hour or two prior to testing as the requirements have changed. Hayden made me feel at ease during my road rest. He explained everything thoroughly and was such a nice young man! Thank you all very much. This facility also does quite a bit of charity work which I was able to witness first hand.

Fantastic experience: I had issues with another school, couldn't get enough training time in to take the test. Apex was willing to work with me, and make sure I had the skills required to pass the test. They are very knowledgable in what they do, and they will take care of you and make sure you possess the skills required to pass the test. If you're thinking about getting your CDL, Apex should be your first choice, Alex the owner wants to see everyone pass the test, and drive safely when starting their career as a truck driver. If you've been screwed by other schools, or if you are just thinking about getting your class A license, you need to talk to these guys, they will get you sorted.

Negative experience: I had the pleasure of witnessing the cdl training. They got this skinny little loud mouth trainer that screams at the new drivers if they aren't understanding what they're supposed to do. Yelling and screaming only confuses and overwhelms a new driver. Use your words and explain the technique they're supposed to be doing.

Fantastic experience: I came to Apex for my 3rd party testing. Alex was amazing, helped me perfect the one backing maneuver I was struggling with. I passed my testing and was able to get my Class A combination CDL license the same day I passed. The teaching from Alex was impressive and thorough. I would have had multiple retests without his help to get me ready for my backing maneuvers. Parallel parking to be specific. Big should out to him and his team. I was pleased to hear how Alex and his staff are all from the industry, not just some pencil pushers like other schools and testing facilities. Knowing the people training you and testing you have real world experience in the field makes every bit of difference.

I come up from 0% knowledge about truck and how it drive's to 1000% all with thier efforts and nice staff and instructors and i passed the test easily .. Negative experience: Well, I personally would not give them .10 if I found a dime on the way over. If for some odd reason ya fall for their trap. Study like ya have never studied before. Most importantly, it would to your benefit, get one of those pointer sticks like their video has. Pointing and touching will not work. I named every thing that needed to be checked, touched some even. Nope, I failed because I didn't physically touch every part I was naming. Be extremely careful with these guys! I guees the best part is, they try to get another $250.00 out of ya for a retest! Generous arent they. If I could I'd leave a 5 star negative...far from a.one star for me! Choose wisely n good luck in your adventure.
Dave, I am really sorry that you failed your test. We do not like failing people. But we do have to administer each test to state standards or they will not let us test. This is why we always try to get students to take at least one hour of training. With at least one hour: 1. We can see if the student is ready, 2. Prep them in their weak areas and 3. Go over the parts that constitute an automatic fail. You chose not to take any training. I have looked over your test results and you didn't get the one part that is an automatic failure, so you would have failed even if you were able to name every single part. But you weren't even close to having enough enough points to pass even if you had gotten that one part correct. Yes, we do charge for subsequent tests for $50 less. These trucks are set aside for a full test, with a tester which we have to pay in full regardless of the outcome. The trucks are expensive to maintain and keep running. You are welcome to come back to Apex and we can train you until we think you are ready, then test. We will give you half off of one hour of training to help you change your mind about us. If you do choose to go elsewhere, I would still recommend you get some training with them before you test. Come January no one will be able to just test. The federal government in mandating that all new CDL drivers go through something similar to our full course. So if you still plan on getting your CDL, you may want to do it before then to save yourself a lot of money. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further issues. Thank you for bringing your frustration to our attention. We do like to know what our students are feeling.

Fantastic experience: I already felt comfortable with driving due to driving a box truck for years, but needed to study my pre-trip and Air Brakes. Did most my studying online and on YouTube. I used Apex for the testing plus I took their recommendation of purchasing one hour of training. Very glad I added the one hour (two would have been better) of training. Was able to pass on my first test. People were very friendly and professional. I would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I loved this I went to sage a few years prior to apex and I didn't feel like I learned anything from sage I dropped out of sage and didn't go back for at least 3 years and that's when I found apex trucking school omg these guys are all fantastic and they are there to help you learn and never get frustrated with you they always are helping you to approve in everything everyday I went to this school only knowing a little bit of stuff know because of this school I almost know everything I need to know about trucking Alex he has a huge heart and he dont let people give up and he dont turn people away there were times I seen Alex test or train people from other states for a low cost or maybe nothing at all I dont know not my business but I do know he has a huge heart made of gold and he really does care about people and the future of others I recomend this school over any other school around. Thanks for the wonderful experience I was able to have with you guys
Thank you for the great review Felicia. Also, thank you for telling Kathy about us. It's so sad when other schools take people's money then kick them to the curb when the hours or tests run out. We just don't have the heart to let somebody spend all their money and say too bad, so sad, goodbye! I'm not saying we can always help every person get their CDL when they run out of hours, tests and money. After we have given all the free hours and tests we possibly can, we have let many people take out a personal loans. Unfortunately, not many people have paid their loans back and it is really is hurting our business. We (my wife and I) have such a hard time not caring about every single person that comes to Apex. We want them to be successful in their goals. It was a pleasure having you train with us Felicia, you are a very good, safe driver. Negative experience: Staff continually tried to upsell me on additional training, using scare tactics to try and get me to front them more money when all I needed was to take the practical exam. Don't even try to schedule a session over the phone, its a waste of time. They may have good trainers, but I will never find out.
Thank you so much for the information! We have hired a new office staff and are in the process of training her so this is very helpful. I too hate it when you know what you want and you feel like you are getting pushed into more. I am sorry you felt that way. We do try to get those who only want the test to at least get an hour of training. It gives you a chance to get used to a different truck and most of all, to prepare you for all the changes the state keeps making to the testing criteria. It is so hard to tell someone they have failed a test and see them waste their time and money having testing again. Honestly, we are not trying to get you to spend more, but to save you more. But if someone only wants to test, we will do it. However, if you are from out of state, you are required to train in Utah before you can test. Thank you so much for your feedback.
Fantastic experience: I graduated and obtained my CDL from Apex in August of this year!! I had previously attended another program and was unable to learn the neccessary skills to pass the backing portion of the State Test. Apex made me feel like Family from day one! Rather than telling me what I needed to learn I was asked where I didn't feel confident and what I felt i needed help with. Everyone from the office staff, classroom instructors and road instructors were more than willing to make sure I had everything I needed to feel confident and safe behind the wheel. The Road Instructors made it a fun environment so that I was relaxed and could focus on driving. I would recommend Apex to anyone wanting to earn their CDL! They are a Genuine group of people who really care about us as Students and the Trucking Industry!

It's students like you that appreciate and recognize what we do here at Apex. That makes this job so very rewarding. I feel so bad that you didn't get your CDL when you went through that other program. You are a smart woman with great motor-skills. You also remembered every little thing we taught you and that made our job very easy. Hopefully others reading this will will come to us first and not make the same mistake you did. Keep us posted on your new career and always remember these 3 things. 1. Every time you turn a corner you must be ready to stop just in case. 2. Fantastic experience: Apex Trucking has been absolutely fantastic to work with. The staff here has been very patient with me (which I find very important when it comes to teaching) and gave me an ample amount of time to self-study which is how I learn best. It's hard to find a school that had a general outline of your day-to-day activities but still allowed you to have some personal time both outside with the trucks and inside the class to read on your own. I was fortunate enough to be the first GI BILL student here at this school since they recently were certified by the federal government. The process went smoothly for me and there was no issue with either them receiving the tuition from the government or me having the BAH and book stipend processed. I firmly believe in honest reviews, and so along with that, I feel the equipment, while still functional, could be more updated. I do realize when teaching people who have never driven a semi-truck before in their lives that you don't want to hand over brand-new expensive equipment to trainees, so prospective students need to understand older trucks is what most trucking schools use. Keep in mind though; you may have a school that has newer equipment, but what good is it if you hardly get any time behind the wheel to train? Or you're yelled at by aggressive and impatient teachers, or taught incorrectly by people with no experience? While I wouldn't have minded newer trucks, the one-on-one time and attention I received from people who actually knew their stuff was far, far more valuable than any other factor. Lastly the facility was a small suite and was a little cramped with so many students (especially considering their quickly growing class sizes) but in the coming weeks they will be moving to a nicer area i'm told, so that should resolved that issue. Overall, this is a great school to choose, and I felt like I really learned not just the minimum to get by, but a lot more that better prepared me for any future job I would have as a driver. They focus a lot on safety, which is paramount to me. So do what I did; stop reading about different schools, choose Apex, and start earning that money!
Thanks Dan that was a great review. I would like to first of all thank you for your service to our country and all the other vets that may read this. We have been wanting to train and hire vets for a very long time. It is awesome that the time is finally here. Your pretrip on your CDL test was the most perfect pretrip we have ever had at APEX. Whatever methods you used to make every detail so perfect please share with us so we may adopt and improve our training methods, always. I also appreciate the constructive criticism you gave us in your review. Now I can show my partner what you said about the newer trucks and up-grade :)

Fantastic experience: I started at sage trucking and found myself set up for failure, when I was done with class work I was ran through a pretrip and a in cab twice and was handed a drive schedule and was told sink or swim, during a three week time off I was taking care of my 95 year old grandfather who fell and died within those 3 weeks so I also had a funeral I attended and all sage trucking could call and say is you have to get it done !!!!!! I felt like I was forced into a test set up to fail ! I then went to Apex training program and told them my story and what I lacked for a driving test , I spent the next 2 weeks going over pretrip, backing and shifting with instructors who all taught equal same course tactics and training that help me finish with success!!! I would recommend Apex trucking to everyone because they Got instructors who care about there students success and want them succeed, thanx Apex .

You are a very fast learner and are a good safe driver I just hope that all those reading this that haven't decided where to go yet, decide to come to Apex . We have helped many students that go to other schools first. We had one guy that went to 2 complete programs and still didn't get there cdl until they came to Apex.
