Viva Driving School, Inc.

Viva Driving School, Inc., with locations in Pasadena and Los Angeles, stands out as a family-oriented institution committed to service, security, and success. Although we rarely advertise, our reputation is built on the consistent recommendations of satisfied students. We understand that earning a driver's license is a significant milestone, and our primary goal is to ensure you handle the road with skill, safety, caution, and respect for others.

Our approach to drivers training is personalized and thorough. Every behind-the-wheel session is conducted by appointment only with highly trained, patient, and professional instructors. You will drive in the latest model vehicles, fully equipped with dual controls for safety and covered by comprehensive insurance. Each standard class is a focused two-hour session designed to master essential skills, including steering control, parking, arm signals, and defensive driving techniques. We tailor lessons to your comfort level, progressing from local streets to freeways and canyons as you demonstrate capability.

For teenagers, we recognize the critical importance of foundational education. Our premier three-day classroom Driver’s Education program addresses the leading causes of fatal injury among youth by focusing on attitude, risk management, problem-solving in traffic, and the dangers of drugs and alcohol. We also offer a flexible online Drivers Education course, approved by the California DMV. This self-paced program allows teens and parents with rigid schedules to complete the mandatory 30 hours of study online, complete with quizzes and a final exam, receiving their certificate of completion promptly for the written test.

We support a wide range of learners, including international drivers needing to transition to California roadways, senior citizens requiring re-examination or updates on new laws, and those needing assistance with DMV logistics. Our bilingual staff ensures clear communication, and we offer specialized road services, such as scheduling DMV appointments and providing vehicles for the driving test. Whether you are a novice, a senior refreshing skills, or an international driver, Viva Driving School provides the professional guidance you need to become a confident, safe driver.
