Official Driving School

Positive experience: Took both segments here. The behind the wheel instructor ed Jones is horrible plz don’t book him if you want a good experience. Idk if he still works there but if he dose do not book him! Germany was amazing. I absolutely loved him and he made comming to class tolerable. Do not take your drivers test here please do it at anyware else. They will fail you for some bs reason. I passed first try and international.

Negative experience: I signed my daughter up for drivers training in May of this year for a virtual class to start July 22 at 5:15pm. I was notified the day before the class started, which happened to be a Sunday, that the class was now In Person at 1pm. We received no other communication from Official Driving School that the class we signed up for was no longer available and that we would be in a different class. When I called them asking for clarification, on the day the class started, I was told that in the contract it states they are allowed to change the class time and location and we needed to be accepting of their right to do so. They had no sympathy that they moved my daughter into an in person class in the middle of the day when both my husband and I work. We chose a virtual class for a reason and we also planned our summer around her registration. We will be out of town for a portion of the class and she will have to miss in person classes, which we will now have to pay $30 per class for her to be able to retake that class. I was told that I could request a refund or they could move me into a different class, none of which actually works with our schedule for the rest of summer. There was no sympathy from Mo in the office, he felt we should be more understanding and accepting of them as a business and that they had no obligation to the customers to notify us or work with us to resolve issues their lack of communication may have caused. I would absolutely never register a child with this program and will make sure that I tell everyone with a driving age child to look for alternative companies for their children. *Edited to say, I have sent 3 emails now to their info email address and received no response. I have also called their office and not been able to speak directly with anyone, i used their automated system to request a call back and have not received a call. Clearly this company is not in the business of customer service.

Positive experience: Amanda X. I had Robin. I think a lot of the information was redundant and it felt like a bit of a waste of time (i was struggling not to fall asleep) but that's the issue with policy rather than the actual class. It was convenient to have it virtually though, and my instructor was rather kind and understanding. So overall it was fine.

Fantastic experience: My name is Anita B. and I had Mr. John Turner as my driving instructor. I was very nervous before my first drive and he was an excellent instructor and guaranteed to me that everything would be alright. All of my drives were extremely enjoyable and fun! I am very glad I had the opportunity to have Mr. Turner as my instructor. The approach made the whole learning experience a great time that I looked forward to every day!
