Fantastic experience: CrossRoad CDL Academy is a really great school from the beginning of the 1st week of class to the end of the class my instructors was on it, they did a really great job making sure we understood what was going on in class to make sure we pass the written exam answered any questions we had with no hesitation they were amazing and Mr. Lewis did an excellent job with the training on pretrip inspection in cab break leak he made it his job as if he was taking the exam his self to make sure we got it down all the way, also learning to drive the truck, backing the truck and parking he made it very easy and understanding to get the steps down path, this school has given me a great accomplishment in life and I definitely would recommend it to anyone who wants to get their CDL and willing to put in the time it take to learn…GREAT JOB!!!!!!Crossroad CDL Academy

Negative experience: if I could give this school 0 stars I would a thousand times! First off let me say that this had to be the worst thing I have ever experienced. So when I first started going to this school in May,2024 everything started off fine! We studied and obtained our Cdl permit in the first week. Second week ( first 2 days) we learned how to pre trip the truck. That was successful! For the remainder of week 2 & week 3 we did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! This was a 4 week class we sat under the tree in the yard the entire work day for 2.5 weeks & learned nothing! They had 1 instructor to 50+ students and he was more interested in teaching the drivers on the manual truck than he was with the people doing automatic. Which left students who obtained NEITHER Class A or Class B CDL to teach us! They start a new class every week. It’s literally all about $ there. I regret EVER going to this school! Once I voiced my opinion on how we weren’t getting time behind the wheel to the instructor all hell broke lose! Erica was more concerned about the dispute I had with her “HUSBAND” rather than the underlying issue of us not getting time behind the wheel because they still had 2 classes out there before us.Because they needed them to test out we had to sit there until they got it, not saying it was an issue but the fact that it was cutting into our seat time was my issue! Then they tried to cram 3 courses ally docking, offset, & straight back in 1 weeks time, with 1 instructor & 30 plus ppl on 1 truck! Imagine how long it took for your turn to come back around! This is a waste of time! Bottom line is PICK ANOTHER MORE PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL WITH INSTRUCTORS WHO ACTUALLY CARE, because they don’t it’s all about money here!

Fantastic experience: I had a challenging experience at Cross Road CDL Academy,it was all so worth it, learning how to become a professional truck driver is not a easy task but it's truly worth it I have learned so much from Cross Road and they take their time with you to teach you the material and they made learning fun for me they will definitely make sure you get an understanding of the material and learn everything about safety and driving an 18 wheeler or a Bus or etc.... they informed me of it all they really care about people and their safety, they did an excellent job in my opinion and if I had to do it all again I wouldn't hesitate to choose Cross Road CDL Academy it's a worthwhile experience. Fantastic experience: Shaady & Mr.Ron & Mr. Lewis are the best hands down. My training was clear and A1! The whole school is awesome run to register now.

Negative experience: I called the other day to ask questions & the lady on the line was so rude & down right NASTY I told her I was writing down what she said so I can compare the different schools. You would have thought I was calling the Secret service & she was the main operator. She didn't want to tell me anything & what little she DID tell me she said it so fast I couldn't write it down so I asked to repeat it & she gives me ATTITUDE. Hunny if it's THIS much trouble asking for general information no thanks let me look elsewhere. I'm not about to just register for the 1st school in Google search & NOT do any RESEARCH. I called Safe roads & the lady was MUCH NICER, explained things without the unnecessary attitude & I got a better feel on what to expect as a potential student. Then she turn around & asked "WHO AM I" but never gave HER name! You tripping if you think I'm registering here.

When I first saw the parts of the truck, I thought it was going to be pretty hard to remember it all; but with how the instructors taught it, they made it really easy to remember. They go above and beyond preparing you not only for truck driving, but entrepreneurship and critical thinking and problem solving. Within my first 4 weeks of training I was extremely confident in my entry level experience. 5 stars aren’t enough.
