Negative experience: Be sure to ask their receptionist ALL the right questions. We contacted them about sending drivers to their weekend driver remedial. Called their Sandusky location off of google. She said they just need $100 and their drivers license be there at 8am. So we sent 2 drivers, doors were still closed at 815, we called and she rudely stated it’s at their Norwalk location and hung up. So we called back to ask if we could still attend and she said “nope they already started” and hung up. We appreciate you wasting our time and will never recommend

Fantastic experience: Mr Gast was a great instructor. He will teach you what you need to know. The ride is also not boring, you will be entertained. And he makes your driving dates after each drive after the first one, opposes to weekly on say every Monday. When/If you mess up he will help you, just be open to low amount of instructive criticism.

I went from barely have no practice to having practice. He was very calm, and easy to talk he never got upset with me if I made a mistake. Fantastic experience: My daughter just finished her behind the wheel training with ADS. (she took her in class online with a different school so this review is just for the 8 hours of behind the wheel part). They were friendly when I called to ask questions, (unlike the other driving school I called) they told me their drivers were so backlogged that they were scheduling 5-6 weeks out (the other school couldn't even give me an estimate on their turnaround time), but to my surprise an instructor called in 2 weeks to schedule her sessions! Rick was awesome...he juggled his schedule to work my daughter in and was great at communicating! We were finished with behind the wheel and had her certificate of completion in 4 weeks!!! Rick showed up on time and my daughter loved him. He joked with her so she wasn't nervous but taught her alot as well! Highly recommend!!!

If I made a mistake, he would tell me exactly what I did wrong and how not to do it. He also told me many important little things to help me that I never even thought about.

Fantastic experience: My son Ethan went through American Driving School his driver was Harold! He is an amazing instructor he is very punctual, professional but yet fun!! He always made him feel comfortable and they chatted about things that is important to my son! He taught him a lot and I am so grateful for that! He passed his tests with flying colors!! His teaching skills are Excellent!! Harold is very highly recommended!!

She took the extra time to explain the importance of certain driving skills to help better my performance. She knew my love for sports and compared many driving skills to basketball which made it very helpful. She was a great instructor!!

Fantastic experience: I went to driving school and I was in the class it is very nice. All the people that teach are very nice. I went driving with Mr. Kevin Gast and he was the best they got all my hours in and they got me my certificate right away.

I'm glad I got to spend my hours driving with such a thoughtful, teaching instructor such as Mr. Ghast. He is also the greatest at teaching maneuverability.

What I liked most, he took the time to talk to us after drive time regarding strategies and improvements we could work on with Mason. Excellent communication.
