The curriculum was well structured and each lesson was individualized to my progress and areas where I needed improvement. The vehicles were very well maintained and equipped for safe driving. I had a great experience and I passed the road test on the first try !

Negative experience: To preface, I was seeking lessons to help build my driver confidence, which I was assured they could accommodate. I appreciated that the instructor was very kind and patient. However, I found that the lessons did not fully meet the needs I expressed, as they primarily covered very basic concepts. There were instances where time management could have been improved, such as classes not starting on time and only dedicating about 20 minutes to parking practice during one session, along with just a single left turn, before returning. These classes would be more suitable for individuals preparing to obtain their driver's license.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has been trying to get their license for about 3 1/2 years, I was desperate to find a teacher. With the 10 lesson plan, I was able to learn how to drive, gain confidence, and take my road test in a little over a month. Fantastic experience: Passed my Road Test on 11/8/23 Sigh!! What can I say about Asi, he is humble, devout and quite possibly the the best instructor I have ever seen. As someone who failed my road test twice before signing with him, I can confidently say that within the span of 10-15 lessons (depending on your previous experience) he will not only prepare you for your road test, but also make you a better & safer driver in general. Driving with him feels like I am actually learning for the roads instead of preparing for a test. To put that into some perspective, I have taken numerous classes before with other people but have never driven on the highway, yet on our first lesson Asi took me highway driving, which while nerve racking was very fun. And that is just one example of how he leverages his experience to tailor you into a better driver. He uses simple and easy language to communicate, and he tells you how many points you would lose when you make a mistake (like on your road test). After spending time driving at night and in roads with decent traffic, the actual road test will feel quite simple. Now moving away from the driving aspect, I feel it is equally important for an instructor to be available, punctual and flexible as we all have different circumstances (some of us are working, some in school, etc). Asi always made sure to plan our lessons around my schedule, he was never late, and it felt like he went above and beyond when I wanted to expedite my road test. It legitimately feels like he listens to you and works around that. Finally, I am not someone who really writes reviews for things, whether I like them or not. But considering the only reason I picked Asi was due to his plentiful reviews, I felt like it would be a disservice to not write one myself. All in all, just pick Asi and call it a day. He will take care of the rest, and most certainly make you a better driver.

Fantastic experience: Asi is hands down the best driving instructor I’ve had! He is patient, kinds and can really read what his student needs to improve and excel. I haven’t met an instructor that goes above and beyond and really cares that his student improves. Overall, the only instructor that has helped me overcome the nervousness of Highway and all types of driving on the road. He has given me the confidence to excel! I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area.

Fantastic experience: The Long Island Driving School is the best driving school in town. I would first like to start off with their excellent customer service skills while in the car. My daughter going into the car was scared at first driving someone unfamiliar. Thanks to Long Island Driving School they made her feel at home with them not getting mad at certain driving mistakes. Instead they encourage her and this helped her gain so much confidence while driving. After taking the class she was able to pass her drivers test with flying colors. Like how I said before I will say it again The Long Island Driving School is the best driving school in town and everyone should be going to it.

Fantastic experience: Asi is a really nice instructor and really helpful in rebuilding my confidence for driving again! I had a terrible crash a few years ago while practicing after I failed my road test, since then I was really afraid of sitting in the front of the car, let alone touch the steering wheel. With the help of therapy, I finally found the courage to sit in the front and get myself some lessons and take the road test before my permit expires, then I found Asi. I remember the first time I was on the driver’s seat with him I was so nervous my body froze up and I couldn’t move, he helped me relax and made sure I was comfortable and with his constant reassurance slowly built my confidence back up. Thanks to him I passed my road test this time! I highly recommend anyone who had past trauma related to driving to try a lesson with Asi, you’ll find your confidence back in no time! Fantastic experience: I passed my drivers test on my first attempt after only two weeks of lessons with this company (and no other lessons). The instructor was extremely professional and precise during our time on the road. He truly cares about the well-being of his students, beyond merely passing the road test. From him, you will learn all the best tricks for passing your road test as well as methods for safe and sustainable driving. In my view, it was certainly worth the investment and I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone use this school to expedite the process of obtaining their drivers license.

This left me with no confidence and anxiety about driving. Thank god my family found this driving school. Fantastic experience: I passed today with score of 90. But can you believe my first road test was -130 score and second test failed immediately after I pull out? Asi has changed my driving habit in the very first class. He will teach students all the details: if you did something wrong in the lesson, he will tell you how many scores you will lose here. By hearing that multiple times, you can make a judgement of your own driving performance. He also preparing students with all kinds of situations, night lesson, highway, explain who goes first, etc. Those are all useful skills lifelong. Because we spent lot of time on road, which is good, but I also concerned if I got enough time for practice parallel parking because I hardly succeed before. Don’t be worry, his tips and techniques are very easy to get. I watched multiple Youtube videos before taking his class. I can say his method is definitely the best! Before the road test, he will prepare you with everything, technically and mentally. To encourage you, to explain things many times patiently, to give you very useful tips and calm you down. 

Asi is hard working, responsible and taking his career and students seriously. Wish everyone a good luck and pass the exam easily and elegantly!

Fantastic experience: Azi is a fantastic teacher. He taught his student on a step by step basis. Successfully at really making sure his students understood what he was trying to convey. When it seems you are ready to move on to learning a new skill, he makes the jump. He takes his time in teaching students. By the time I took an actual driving test I had acquired the skills and habits needed to pass, although I did not realize. When I finished the Road Test I assumed the worst as do to my personality and his thoroughness in teaching me all steps of driving. Obviously I was nitpicking ever single success that I did on the exam that by the end I thought I flopped, only to realize a couple of hours later that I actually got a REALLY high score with only 2 minor errors. It was a fun ride while it all lasted, but by the end I came out of it with skills that I would never of gotten on my own or even with the assistance of family, (sorry mom). I am thankful for him, and full heartedly recommend his service.

Fantastic experience: As an older student I was apprehensive about returning to the road and preparing for the NYS road test exam. From the 1st day Asi picked me up, and I reluctantly followed his instruction to “Get in the driver’s seat you’re driving,” I realized my nerves would be ok. The first 5minutes of that driving lesson, (not a parking lot but on the road) set the tone for the package that I booked; Despite, what I had felt or had convinced myself about my driving abilities, if I listened to his instructions and followed his guidelines, I would pass the test. Asi was very patient and encouraging. He seemed unruffled by my “major mistakes”which in turned boostered my confidence. He quickly corrected my errors, and gave clear directions on what I could and should not do to improve. He worked with me, until I built up the courage to schedule the test. Yes, I passed on the first try. I shout a special THANK YOU to Long Island Driving School for creating an environment that is relaxed, but conducive to preparing for, and passing the NYSDMV road test exam!!!

Fantastic experience: My son was excited to earn his junior driving license. He drove often with us to practice. I reached out to LIDS and immediately knew we were in good hands. Great communication, answered all my questions, and all via Text! The courses were on line and we continued to drive with our son daily. Fantastic experience: Asi is an amazing person, he makes sure you understand and learn how to be safe on the road, whilst showing you every step on how to be the best driver you can be. He’s beyond a great person showing you that he believes in you and doesn’t back down when things are difficult. Having only 12 lessons with him I learnt so much and became very comfortable on the road leading to me passing my road test. The way Asi teached me was amazing he made sure everything stuck with me and when I didn’t understand something he would use every single detail to make sure I would understand. Fantastic experience: I am a single mother with a 17 yr old son who had never been behind the wheel even once in his life and was now about to go away to college in a month. I called Asi at LI Driving school and the second I spoke to him I knew my son and I were going to love him. He gave my son confidence and encouragement by using the perfect balance of professionalism while still being kind and caring. Everytime my son came back from a lesson he became more and more confident and independent. If I could give Asi 10 stars I would because he is the absolute best teacher and person. Fantastic experience: This has to be the best Driving School I have had the pleasure learning from, Firstly the instructor Asi will explain in great detail of the each lesson to being a better driver and having more confidence on the road. Even after 2 lessons I had much more confidence with driving then I ever had before.
