Fantastic experience: Being a homeschool family, we were happy to take the homeschool course offering. The team did a wonderful job. For an older child, we used another driving school and were not pleased with the instruction, curriculum, or driving instruction. Learn 2 Drive was such a different experience! I was appreciative that Learn 2 Drive used an actual textbook and curriculum. The owner is very passionate about teaching teenagers to drive. We also had road hours with the owner. She was patient and kind. I was very pleased and will use them again in the future.

Fantastic experience: We tried two other driving schools for our son before we found Learn2Drive. Our instructor, Vicky, was so thorough (and patient) in teaching our son how to drive safely and therefore, with confidence. He passed his test with a perfect score and we are comforted to know he has good control over his vehicle.

Fantastic experience: We have had two children go through the process of getting their permits. One was through the public school system and the other through Learn2Drive Driving School. Hands down Learn2Drive is the best choice and the only choice for our family. The classes, driving experience and test prep given were exceptional for preparing him for success. We have one more child that will need to get his permit in the next few years and we will be using Learn2Drive Driving School!

Fantastic experience: Learn 2 Drive Driving School has been a rewarding experience for my son and family. Having retired from the military I was blown away by how well organized the school was. It was a turnkey operation from the student class work to the required six hours of driving to the study stack given to the families to prepare their student to take the DMV written test. Vickey the owner and her staff ( Julie and Adriane) were outstanding and I wish I could give them 6 stars. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: We have sent all three children here. They do a great job- we drove 50 minutes each way and it was worth it! Also, highly recommend purchasing additional driving time.

Fantastic experience: Both of my kids went through drivers ed with Learn 2 Drive. It was excellent. They quickly respond to questions and both of my kids came out feeling confident about driving behind the wheel which I think is important. They also were ready for the learning permit test.

Negative experience: Buyer BEWARE! Unless you are absolutely sure you're going to take the class, be prepared to lose $100.00. This business DOES NOT refund your deposit. My daughter made a mistake signing up for class at this location. Class was more than a month away and the owner claimed that she'll lose too much money if she allowed people to cancel. Which is strange. Drivers ed classes are in such high demand, how would she lose money? Mind you the class dates were more than a month away. If the fee was $20.00 ok, it was my mistake, and I could have accepted that, but $100.00? Hope my post will help you to avoid costly mistake.

Fantastic experience: I’m so excited to share how wonderful our experience has been with Learn 2 Drive. The process went very smooth. They were very informative and thorough from what they were going to teach to handbooks and all the information to obtain a learners permit and license. My daughter learned from real life experiences from the live classroom instructions and clear learning materials for both students and parents. During the 6 hours of one on one driving, Ms. Adrienne, was wonderful! She took her all over different areas from the parking lot, to back roads, around the mall, downtown, around the college campus, highways, pit stops, gas fill up, the interstate, etc. She experienced many real life driving from start to finish. Adrienne was super attentive knowing her every move. She was fun but kept it real demonstrating what it’s really like having passenger engagement. She taught with positive reinforcement only without any shame in making mistakes. Adrienne was very detailed in her report of how the lessons went. She gave my daughter a hug goodbye after giving her certificate. I highly recommend this driving school and so glad my daughter had her first experience with them.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic experience for our son. We did a different program with our older son and Learn 2 Drive is head and shoulders above the other program. The classroom instructors brought real world experience. Mrs. A was an amazing driving instructor. She gave our son a variety of driving experiences - from neighborhood roads, to highways, to downtown/urban roads. He is very confidant and comfortable behind the wheel with what he has learned and experienced. Highly recommend Learn 2 Drive.

Fantastic experience: Learn to Drive Driving School was a great learning experience for my daughter. They were very organized and explained everything to the parents prior and process of obtaining the learners permit as well as drivers license when the time comes. They worked well with our schedule when it came time for the 6hrs of driving. I love that they do one on one driving to focus on areas for improvement. My daughter’s driving teacher (Adrienne) was so wonderful and energetic and even stayed and gave me updates after her driving lesson to let me know how it went. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend this school!

He is now ready to safely navigate our roads and enjoy this lifelong skill/privilege. L2DDS succeeded in calming his anxieties and prepared him fully. They are professional, kind and put their students & families first. What I found impressive as a parent was the first day orientation for parents. We were well informed & prepared for the NCDMV visits which helped greatly! Our son tells all his friends he is so glad we went to L2DDS! He passed his exam on the first try! The relief on his face was priceless!

Fantastic experience: Best driving school in the state!!! Miss Vickey is amazing. My kids passed everything driving with ease. Worth every penny. I even drove an hour and a half every day to get my kids here. If you want the best, here it is.

Fantastic experience: We had the best experience with Learn2Drive and I would highly recommend them!!! We have 3 sons and used a different driving option for each one- Jordan Driving School through a charter school, Carolina Driving virtually, and Learn2Drive. The class was well-organized & they were very communicative with the parent. They mixed it up with some guest speakers & made the material interesting. They were engaged & knowledgeable. Learn2Drive even had a pizza party at the completion of the class! The driving instructor picked my son up at our home which was a big help. Also, we didn’t have to wait weeks and weeks to schedule the driving hours after the class was completed. Lastly, he passed his permit test on the first try as he was well-prepared, unlike the other 2 who had to take the computer test twice. It is well worth the $$ as you get what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: Hands down worth EVERY penny I spent for this class. My daughter received an excellent education related to driving. I absolutely loved all of the guest teachers who brought a wealth of experience and knowledge. My daughter is our fourth child to get her permit; she is also the first to take this class. She received a 100% on her DMV test, and I credit that mostly to the effectiveness and thoroughness of the Learn2Drive program.

Fantastic experience: I had 2 boys that went through the program and I must say if I was still living in the area I would DEFINITELY go through them again. They were very understanding when my family had to move within less than 2 months. My boys were able to get their behind the wheel training completed. I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Lee and her staff. My oldest was able to get his level 1 permit 1st time go, and my 2nd is currently waiting for his 15th birthday to go get his. I would recommend Learn2Drive to anyone who is looking to get their child/ren ready for their permit.

She participated in the virtual classroom option over spring break, which was great because there seemed to be long waitlists or conflicts for other programs. Everything was well organized and I appreciated the knowledge and experience of the instructors. They communicated effectively and made sure my daughter had her driving time in before she turned 15. I highly recommend this driving school.

Yes, it isn't as cheap as the WCPSS vendor, but ilthe teaching is way more engaging and there was no wait to get behind the wheel.

Fantastic experience: This was a very fun place to learn. The teachers are very relatable and have classes for everyone. Its also very fun and it only takes 2 weeks or so for the instructors to come after the 1st week of being taught in the drivers ed part. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: When it was time for my daughter to start driving, I wasn't sure where to start, so I randomly Googled and found Learn 2 Drive Driving School. I'm very thankful to stumble upon this school. My daughter wasn't very excited about learning to drive, she was timid and nervous. However, after taking the class, she is excited and confident. She had no issue getting her permit, and she never turns down a chance to be behind the wheel. I will definitely enroll my son here when it's time for him to start driving.

Fantastic experience: Great experience - great instructors very informative and lowest price when we went (Nov ‘22) Suggestion: since COVID - all DMV appts have to be online some don’t take walk-ins at all and all NC locations are minimum 3 months out - please don’t discourage students from making appointments - they can always cancel if they don’t drive, etc.

Fantastic experience: I can not say enough about the wonderful experience my daughter had! From me reaching out with questions before I even registered her for the class to them working with her busy sports and extra curricular activities schedule to find the right time for her to complete the driving portion. I knew when and how to schedule the DMV appointment and what she needed to do and take there to be able to get her permit. Ms. Vickey and Ms. McLean were knowledgeable, patient, and phenomenal instructors.

The teachers are excellent, the driving instructors are excellent and the office staff makes sure you know exactly what is happening as well as what you need when it's time for your kid to get their permit/driver's license.

My daughter took the classroom portion through her school, and when we found out it was going to be 22-26 weeks before she started the driving portion, we began looking for an alternative. I am happy to report she just completed her behind the wheel training. Everyone at Learn 2 Drive has been very kind and helpful. My daughter’s driving instructor, Mr. Max was wonderful! Cannot recommend this company enough!

Fantastic experience: Our teenage son had a high functioning autism diagnosis which had us worried about driver’s ed. Vickie and her staff helped with our worries and he learned a lot AND is able to drive. We couldn’t recommend this school enough and think it is a good alternative for all! I’m glad we were referred to it by a friend!
