They ensure that the student is fully ready to take the driving test, after which passing the test is not too difficult if one follows all instructions carefully. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to drive confidently in the USA!

Negative experience: I tried this driving school to do a little bit of driving practice (not necessarily learning) and then ask the company to take me for the test. I made that clear to the instructor before I decided to take a class with them. I went for the first class and the instructor made me do similar maneuver, circling back around blocks or areas about 10 times. He did this twice, alluding that I was making my turn either too slow or too fast, or any other nonsense excuse to keep me behind the wheel and make time. During most of the practice, his attention was on the phone. It was apparent that his intention was to charge as much as possible. I asked to end the class and told him that I was not learning anything, and did not make sense for me to continue driving. Then, I asked him if he could take me to the driving test and he refused, arguing that I was not ready. I went with an instructor from a different driving school, and did active practice with him for about 40 min. After that, he took me to the dmv road test and passed it! EDIT (Response to school's comments) Any official driving school will not agree to let you take road test till you are safe and ready. We clearly Told you could not take you for test till safe and ready when you signed the contract and this is shown in the contract also. Response: OK If you can not control your turning speed, it is an indicator that you are not safe and ready. Response: I was making the turn too slow. For example If we wanted to earn you money, we would say ‘take test with us’ instead of letting you practice and take test with friends . Response: Well, does how it looked like, messaging and/or taking calls most of the time while "teaching". Arent the driving instructors supposed to be as attentive as the person behind the wheel if they really want to do active teaching with students? Making someone to the same block 10 times, because while turning right because I was too slow sometimes 10 MPH, but you want it between 15-20 MPH. Taking road test is not a joke for student drivers, instead driving during road test is a life and death situation . Lucky you , you were safe in test. Response: I was not lucky. I knew how to drive, I needed some "active practice". And I told you that I held in the past I had a valid US driver license. I wouldnt not take the risk to take a road test or drive if I feel I can endanger myself or any other pedestrians/drivers when driving. If driving is not a joke, then you as an instructor should not be using the phone or calling often because you are supposed to actively teach and supervise my driving. If after all, per your standards I was not a ready to drive, why would you do that? Any one took you for test for money was not responsible for your life, examiner’s life, others life if you are not ready although passed the test. Several bad accidents did happen during tests before when students were not safe and ready Response: no, the other instructor was reasonable and thoughtful of my driving experience. He gave me proper feedback, and tips to improve my driving in a short time. He made me drive around the city and took me to the highway. Never, I felt unsafe, because he was really there to support my driving.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Jack. He picked me up in a timely manner for the 2 driving practice sessions. The instructions were very clear. The mock tests prepare you well for the actual test. I highly recommend I Can Pass Driving School if you want to learn driving and get a license.

Fantastic experience: I failed my road tests for my first 2 attempts at Champaign DMV. Then I went to this driving school for help. I only practiced with Emmy for one session(2hrs) then went to Rantoul DMV for road test. I passed like a breeze. Really recommend if you need help on the traffic rules. Emmy let me practiced the content of Rantoul DMV road test and gave clear instructions. Patient and responsible.

Got one lesson with them and the instructor told me exactly what I need to do to pass the road test (since I already knew how to drive). I wouldn’t be able to pass without the lesson!! I was connected with an instructor quickly after contacting the school and I cannot say the same for other driving schools in the area.I had an excellent experience with Tammy who was an absolute dream of an instructor. She was patient with me throughout and really adapted to my learning pace and style. She even went the extra mile for me by preparing slides and was always encouraging which I very much appreciated as an incredibly under confident adult student driver . She made sure I wasn’t just learning to get my license but was making sure I was learning to be a safe driver in everyday life. I also had KC as an instructor for a day , who was also really great at giving great tips for the road and was incredibly patient and encouraging. So this school definitely has an abundance of great instructors. They’ll even do pick ups and drop offs at your location of choice for an extra $10 and it’s cheaper than ubering it. So all in all the school, is very efficient and makes things convenient and their instructors are top tier especially Tammy. I cannot recommend this school enough.

Fantastic experience: This driving school is great. I was able to get my permit + my license within 1 month. Took their online ed course which I finished in a few days then took my permit. Shortly started taking lessons with Greg. After 2 lessons, I took my mock test which prepared me for things that could be asking on the drivers test. They said I was ready that night and I left the next morning at 6 AM for my exam which I passed perfectly! Dr. Hsieh took me to my actual exam and he was excellent at calming my nerves and telling me what I needed to work on and be careful about on my test

Fantastic experience: Each of the instructors I’ve had were very pleasant to work with. They make sure to give you positive & constructive feedback regarding your driving skills. My very first instructor Emmy, gave me the reassurance & confidence I needed to move forward with taking the test. The only thing is that communication can be a bit confusing because there are so many instructors & different schedules. Otherwise, I would recommend this for anyone who hasn’t had driving practice or it’s difficult to find someone’s car to use. Very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school! I had Jack as my instructor and then Dr. Hsieh took me for my practice road test and actual road test. I had about 10 hours of lessons (and then the mock test) and was able to pass my road test on my first try! I Can Pass Driving School and the instructors are very organized, patient, and dedicated and they have a solid system/curriculum for ensuring their students learn how to drive and are able to get their license. They did not drag out the lessons to get more money and the prices are reasonable in comparison to other driving schools. I felt confident after my lessons and Jack and Dr. Hsieh were very encouraging and patient with me, which I appreciate. You also use their cars and you can use their car for the road test (if they think you are ready), which is very convenient. I would highly recommend!

I passed my road test yesterday first attempt thanks to them! With only a few lessons. Very easy to work with, they always accommodate to your schedule. Before them, I tried another driving school in Champaign and the instructor was so rude and sarcastic, so I was so happy when I changed to I Can Pass Driving School and they treated me nicely. Also, this is probably the only driving school in the area where you can pay through Zelle, so you don’t have to go to an ATM and withdraw money for every single class. The price is also cheaper than other schools. 100% recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Illinois as a New Yorker who had never really driven at all. At first I didn’t believe I could pass the road test with only four lessons, but Greg’s patient, kind, clear instructions made me feel confident in driving so quickly, and I passed on the first try! Cannot recommend I Can Pass highly enough. Excellent streamlined process and great people at every step of the way.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! I had only 2 lessons and just passed the DMV road test. The coaches are great and responsive, but you sometimes have to ask for specific instructions if you need ones. (and they are willing to answer!) There is a simulation road test before the exam and is customized for the location you choose, which really helped a lot. You can also use their car to take the exam with additional fees.

Positive experience: I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST TODAY FIRST TIME!!!!!!! (congratulations me), and also to my fellow colleague's who went before me this morning. I am grateful for being one of the 3 students who passed first time today at the beginning of the year 2022 with this school. It was two guys and girl (hahah that's me lol:). Firstly, I must give God thanks for helping me pass and then to the instructors Greg, Emmy and KC. The instructors are on time and professional. They will take you on the test route for your mock test before the driving test which really helped me. I would recommend this driving school to others. PS. my only issue is that these instructors cars are not very clean but I survived. I passed and that is all that matters. As my handle says.....This is my year!!!! Upwards and onwards! Fantastic experience: If you are a novice drivers wanting to learn how to drive, this is the place to go. They don't push you to take the road test when you drive immaturely nor delay you any further if they think you are ready. They have professional and responsible people who knows what they are doing. And you can trust them. Emmy is a superb instructor. She is patient and her instructions are on point. I would recommend this place to any of my friends.

Fantastic experience: I was always scared of driving but I finally overcame my fear when I started taking classes at I Can Pass. I worked with Greg and he was very nice and calm which really helped me build my confidence. Overall, the process only took 6 weeks and I just got my license! Would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: The driving school is good and most coaches are good, but the owner's wife is also one of the coach but SHE REALLY SUCKS, she is like the worst instructor you can ever have...very bad driving skills and very unprofessional. In general I would recommend this place to learn driving but if saw her as your instructor, just run away for your life

Fantastic experience: I wanted to leave a review specifically for Gerald. He really is a great driving instructor. He was patient and kind all the time and understood when I made mistakes that I’m still learning. I really prefer his style of teaching because he tries to build good driving habits in students from the very beginning. he’s also very reasonable so he’ll evaluate your driving skills in the beginning to see how many hours of practice you need. I highly recommend requesting him as your instructor. I always felt like i got the most out of every session, i never felt like I was wasting time.

Negative experience: I took several driving classes in this school, but had bad experience there. The school here literally charged me arbitrarily. For one time, they accepted vennmo as a method of payment, but for the next time they suddenly denied it and asked for the cash. I didn't have cash with me at that moment, so I asked if I could go to ATM. The owner just said that I needed to pay extra ten dollars if I could not pay him immediately. I am sure there are better options in Champaign to prepare for the driving test. This is not a comment spam, but based on my personal experience. Note that the name of the current annount is a pseudonym, so it will not be on their list of students.

I learned from nothing within 9.5 hours of class and passed the driving test in first attempt. The mock test was definitely useful. I found the price little expensive. But I guess, they offer a compettive price in comparison to other schools in the area.

The instructors (specially Greg and Scott) are very professional and know the exact details about the road exam and what we will be tested on. Their mock test was a blessing in disguise because it was the same route that the actual test happens on and thus I was well prepared with the stop signs / parking / speed limits. Would highly recommend their service. As an advice would recommend people to try out Monticello or Rantoul DMV for the test.

Fantastic experience: I passed the road test in first attempt. Jack gave me wise pointers to follow and gave me really good training. I was weak in certain areas and he made sure to let me practice enough before the test. My test took place while it was raining and it went very well !! Negative experience: I had past driving experience still I took sessions with them, the instructor (Greg) was good but taught me only a few things which were way too different from what Jim (the owner) expected I know during the mock test! I was very confused at the end of the mock test! Also, these people have no idea about the documents that are required (even though one can find list on their website) and the conditions under which they are valid. I would suggest anybody taking sessions with them, please ask everything beforehand, including all the fees related questions(I believe they are insanely expensive accordingly to what they teach).
