All Star Driver Education - Lake Orion High School

Negative experience: Pay $479 for seg 1. It is now 2 months later and still no certificate. This place is a scam. They take your money and do not follow through. ***After reading more reviews this seems to be very common for this company. So disorganized and unprofessional. They say sign up for your drives through the portal however the portal does not work. Worst experience ever. I have reported them to the state as this place needs to be shut down.

Negative experience: instructor would talk about himself the entire time and very distracting while trying to drive.

Negative experience: Horrible the instructor is good but there we're having nothing but problems with the company. No communication they do not return calls or emails. It's impossible to schedule your drives. DO NOT USE!

Fantastic experience: I think that Myles did really well teaching me, Myles was really helpful he talked me through all of my drives. He found a driving style that worked for me and properly dealt with me when i drove nervously for my first two drives.

Fantastic experience: Mr Mchaney was my instructor, he helped me learn a lot and go from around a 2 to almost a 4. he kept high energy the whole time and kept his whole class engaging and was very nice, i have a very tight schedule and he made it work. this is a guy that is very passionate about what he does and is by far the best instructor i will have

Fantastic experience: My experience was great did well on my test and was able to drive with my sister for all my drive times because she was also in my class. My instructor; Mr. Myles was super nice and you could tell that he wanted us to improve. He made me want to drive and with this system driving was great and easy!

Fantastic experience: It was a really good drive thru take time to get to know and have cool conversation with you and takes a little bit of breaks when your stressed.They give you really good criticism on what you need to work on and are they give you great advice.

Fantastic experience: I think this was the best route I could’ve taken in order to really learn how to drive. For the in class stuff everything was good. With a mixture of kahoots, notes, and videos, I really learned how to drive. For the driving sessions I felt safe and ready to learn truly how to drive. There is both fun and serious moments with Mr. Myles. 10/10. I recommend.

Positive experience: My driver's instructor was Mr McHaney. Although he was loud, I still learned how to drive in a good way. Both the company and Mr. McHaney were very understanding when it came to mental health and struggles. I would definitely recommend this to a new student driver.

Fantastic experience: My instructor mr Myles was extremely nice, supportive on the road, and made the experience much less stressful than I thought it would be. I do suggest you try to get him and go to Allstate if you can!

Fantastic experience: At All Star, I had online lessons with Mr. McHaney. He is a high energy teacher who gets through the material well. He made it interactive even though I was on a zoom call. Behind the wheel, he was very helpful and wasn’t afraid to tell me what I was doing wrong. He guided me along very well. Overall, the total experience was very good for me and I am excited to see how I drive for years to come.

Fantastic experience: All Star made learning how to drive super easy and fun. It was a really chill experience and my instructor made it easy for me to feel comfortable. There wasn’t anything while driving that made me feel super stressed.

From teaching the courses to being on the road, he made it fun and built the confidence of his students. I highly recommend Myles and All Star driving to eases your anxiety and gain confidence on the road.

He prepared me for driving with making the class fun, he gave kahoots, Quizlets, and showed us videos that really helped show the perspective of the world. It also helped with the written test. All star was an amazing program and I am now a much better driver because of it.

Negative experience: I see this one driver everytime I am a speedway sitting for 15 to 20 minutes buying student's food and drinks just sitting and talking. This is not teaching them behind the wheel driving. I know there has been multiple complaints so I am calling Lansing tomorrow morning with the proof and plate number with my complaint. Maybe the will make this company do something about this inappropriate behavior and wasting parents money.

If I could, I would chose All Star and Mr. McHaney again.

Negative experience: I have tried Numerous times to get a hold of this company as far as I’m concerned they took our money and did not give my son his certification so that I may get his license we’ve been waiting for a callback some type of email notification or just to please send his certification by mail and we still have not received it and it’s been months of issues! He has completed and passed the courses!

Negative experience: My son took segment 2 with this program, and past the class on October 19th. At the time he was told that the instructor who’s name is Myles, did not have the certificate to give to him. He was told that they would contact him as soon as he got it. We have been trying every.single.day to contact this company so that my son can receive his certificate for segment 2. You see without it, he can’t take the driving test to get his license. I have left messages, sent emails abd have called repeatedly and I cannot get him to give my son the certificate. Worst company I have ever done business with. Myles, the instructor can post videos on Utube and Tictok but can’t handle out the certificates for his classes. Absolutely ridiculous

Not only will you learn to drive (the all star way,) but you’ll make a couple of close friends, and learn some important lessons along the way.
