Highly rated classroom and driving instructors
While experiences can vary by individual instructor, many students highlight exceptional teachers who make learning engaging and supportive. Instructors like Mr. Porter, Ms. Becky, Mr. Lou, and Mr. Zerilli are frequently praised for their patience, humor, and ability to put nervous students at ease. Ms. Becky, in particular, is noted for her clear instruction and encouragement, helping students achieve high scores on their written tests. Mr. Porter’s online classes are appreciated for their interactive approach using tools like Gimkits, making the material accessible and fun.
Dedicated support for road test success
For the final road test, several examiners receive outstanding reviews for their professionalism and calming demeanor. Instructors such as Karen, Tom Kaleta, and Jason are commended for creating a low-stress environment, offering clear instructions, and providing constructive feedback. Karen is especially noted for her ability to connect with anxious students, including those with special needs, ensuring they feel prepared and supported during the examination. These positive interactions often lead to first-time passes and lasting confidence behind the wheel.

Parents and students appreciate the high standards, which, while rigorous, contribute to the school's long-standing reputation and the competence of its graduates.
Courtesy Driving School: Reviews

Negative experience: Courtesy driving school is the worst of all! Heard lots of negative reviews and also I had very bad experiences with them twice. The white old grumpy man who took my road test was very rude and unprofessional. Didn’t bother to introduce himself. Instructions were unclear and if I asked a question he doesn’t answer. And also screamed at me for not getting his accent.
Negative experience: After scheduling my son's driving test, I received a confirmation email. In the email, addresses for testing sites were listed. On the day of the test, my husband took him to the the address listed, no one showed up from Courtesy. I called the following day and they said it was the wrong place. When I explained we went to the address listed in the email, their response was that there was another email sent and they would have told me the address on the phone. No apology for listing the wrong address in the confirmation email. When we did reschedule (at our own cost) we arrived at the correct address 15 minutes early. After 10 minutes we didn't see anyone so we decided to drive to the back of the building, which is not visible AT ALL from the road. There was the instructor. When we walked up, NO introduction or greeting from him. Just a grumpy remark about about being late. NOT the way to talk to a teenager who is nervous. I mentioned we were in the front of the building and AGAIN- a grumpy remark about us being late. We will NOT use Courtesy again not will we recommend them.
Negative experience: My sister went and did her road test with Karen. She would not stop walking the whole ride. When she told her she failed and we asked why she couldn’t even find a reason to fail. I would not recommend going with her at all. Looked like she failed her for money!!!
Negative experience: The rumor is they fail you at least once to drum up business. I believe that's true. The road test proctor was 25 minutes late, grabbed the wheel when another driver (on his phone), swerved within his lane. And then failed my kid for that. She then proceeded to lecture the kid - and me. She wouldn't get out of the car when I asked so we could leave. Wish I'd looked at the reviews before I paid.
Negative experience: Honestly, the worst experience I have had with a “service” organization. We were told we could use a credit over the phone when we called back to use it we were treated very rudely (on many occasions) and never gained access to that credit. I would never use them again nor would I suggest anyone else using. Its clear they feel entitled to our money, they have poor training and the person I spoke to was not only rude but not a person that understand customer service, or perhaps even how to smile. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY
