Fantastic experience: My daughter was a recent student and had a great experience. Parkway is organized and makes driver's education and licensing headache free. Emily went out of her way to ensure my daughter got all her lessons and road test as quickly as possible. Our family will be back at Parkway when my son is old enough to drive.

Fantastic experience: I took two lessons and the road test to convert my foreign drivers license to MA. I worked with two different instructors who were both very friendly and gave good tips on how to pass the test and practice. The cars are clean and great for parallel parking and 3-point turns. I took the road test on a Saturday, which was well organized. The office sends out all required information that you need to prepare documents and study tips. I recommend the school, well done.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your money and time for the road test with them. I have more than 10 years driving experience and had to renew my international licence, so I took one lesson+ weekend exam package. The instructor was late for a half of the lesson, she was nice though. The examiner was nitpicking all the exam and put down mistakes I haven’t done. Then recommended to take more lessons in the school all the people I met while waiting failed their test. I booked road test in RMV and just passed it easy! PS. I’m sure that “you don’t decide who fails” as many times as possible, you just get money for the next tryout) don’t cheat, people are not so dumb as you believe.

Fantastic experience: For almost all of my BTW Lessons I had Chris, and he was a great teacher, he was always calm and would explain things throughly, definitely part of the reason I passed the test. I would recommend parkway.

Negative experience: Most rude and disrespectful people that wk there. I have asked on numerous occasions to stop using my car in front of my house as a learning tool for parallel parking. The young rude instructor keeps coming back every day. She laughs in my face and thinks it's a joke. So many times almost hit my car..

I lucked out and had Chris as my driving instructor for every single one of my driving hours. He was an extraordinary teacher and I give him most of the credit for getting me to pass my road test. Fantastic experience: Great experience doing the one lesson and a test package. I have a full licence from abroad so I just needed a refresher on automatic driving and the standards of the maneuvers for the test. Mr Costa did a great lesson with me Friday evening at a convenient time after work and then I passed my test Saturday morning. Highly recommend, great value.

Fantastic experience: I took 12-15 classes with this school. Very nice drivers/teachers. My work schedule was very busy but they always adjusted my time and dates. Chris was my favorite teacher among all the expert drivers. He taught me parallel parking skills which I loved and found very easy as everyone has a different style. As a new immigrant in the country, it is big relief for me. My advice for fresh people is, 1: Always book rural areas because of less traffic/crowd. I passed in Southbridge, MA. Don't choose boston or nearby suburbs. 2: Before the test, Practice 3 days at least in that specific area so you can well aware of the roads n surroundings. Highly recommend this school to everyone. I don’t think my son needed the practice road test but I did it because he has never drove on the roads in Hyde park that the test was on. He took his road test on Saturday and he passed. Positive experience: Overall, a great experience with Parkway. My only qualm is that not all of their instructors are created equal—the vast majority are excellent and keenly attuned to how you’re driving with ways to correct it. Still, a few seem zoned out and struggle to clearly advise you on how to improve your maneuvers. That said, I would not hesitate to use Parkway again and would not have passed my road test without them. If you can, try to get Chris as your instructor for some lessons—he was the single most helpful to me.

Fantastic experience: We had a very good experience with Parkway Driving School. They guided us and our daughter thru the process, provided info and links to set up accounts, download an app, pay RMV fees etc. The instructor agreed to pick up and drop off at our home, which was much more convenient than having to go to their office many times. Our daughter completed all the required training, and more hours than required driving with a parent. She was quite calm and confident, passed the driving test and got a license. The process takes several months so plan ahead and don't rush it, safety above all. Good luck !

Fantastic experience: Parkway Driving School is beyond awesome!!! I had a horrendous experience with another driving school and came to Parkway after reading all of the reviews. Their website is user friendly and informative. I was able to book my son's road test with ease. I also was able to call the same week of his road test and arrange a last minute mock road test lesson. My son had his lesson with Angelo. Angelo was very helpful and gave a great lesson. The overall process was amazing. The communications via email and all the information they provide makes them by far the top notch driving school in Boston. I highly recommend them and will definitely be sharing their name everywhere for other people looking for a reliable driving school.

Fantastic experience: Parkway driving school is the best!! I definitely recommend if you want to become a defensive driver and pass your road test. Everything is self explanatory on your parkway account like you can easily book driving lessons. You will get a reminder text and email which is very specific so there is no possible way for confusion. The driving instructors are very nice, qualified, and professional which made me very comfortable each lesson. When it comes to your road test they will basically do all the planning for you and they send you all the information that you need which is very helpful. All I can say is thank you parkway driving school for being the reason I passed my road test!!

Negative experience: Bernadette, the owner is extremely rude and condescending. One of the instructors, Nick Kress, also made extremely racist comments to my daughter during one of her lessons with him. It is also impossible to get driving hours, they are always full, especially times after school hours. It will take you forever to complete the hours.

Fantastic experience: I usually never do reviews of places, just because of time. But I want to thank Parkway for helping me learn to drive and pass my road test. I never ever thought I'd be able or want to drive after being in so many accidents as a kid. When I started, I was really rough. I couldn't even stop or brake without sweating, but every lesson on, I gained confidence. And every instructor offered something different as well as constructive feedback. I only started driving in January and have made huge strides since then. Thanks, Parkway! I will say, lessons can fill up fast, so be sure to schedule early if you can

Negative experience: Very difficult to get driving hours for my child around school schedule, lessons ended up expiring and money tremendously wasted. No help or understanding from the school when contacted.

Fantastic experience: The staff which is husband and wife were very nice and informative about everything and honest about the expectations for your road test . He really made me feel comfortable like a dad would. Honesty and kindness was the heart of my experience with Parkway! I took one lesson and I passed my road test the next day! With Paul as my sponsor I felt confident about my test and I’m thankful for Paul and his wife! I am a licensed driver now! I’d recommend Parkway!

Fantastic experience: I struggled with driving anxiety for years, and I finally decided to come back to Parkway to get over my fear of driving. The staff were VERY respectful and understanding of my anxiety and truly helped me overcome my fears. I was able overcome my anxiety and pass my road test the first time around thanks to these amazing people! I would strongly recommend Parkway!

Negative experience: The driving instructor was very unprofessional from the second I go in the car. He wouldn’t stop talking about his day to day life problems with the random girl in the back seat that sat in on my test without announcing what her place there. I payed for the rest outta pocket not my parents money so I expect I get my money’s worth an the employees at parkway show me the respect I deserve while taking the test. I will not Reffer anyone here there work ethic is horrible. When anyone student is taking a test not a single word should be spoken an the instructor should be focused on my driving not the girl in the back seat and what she’s saying. Also I’ve noticed there’s no way u can get in verbal contact with parkway because they don’t know how to answer there phones. This whole establish meant should be looked at as a joke and not taken seriously until they take there students seriously. I will no be going back there nor will I ever Reffer someone to take there test there.

Fantastic experience: I passed my road test first time, after having two prep lessons at Parkway in West Roxbury. I hadn't driven for a while and I was a bit rusty doing the parallel park, but the instructors were great and gave me the confidence I needed. Their communications by email were clear, their cars were spotlessly clean and well maintained. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been driving with a foreign driver's license for the past 7 years and it was about time that I needed to get a Massachusetts driver's license. I only took the road test package that comes with sponsorship and one driving lesson. My instructor for the lesson was super cool and resourceful, although I did made him angry at one point for not following instructions. We kinda shrug it off and I tried to be a better student. The instructor took me to the road test route and we practiced the maneuvers that were going to be tested. On the day of the road test, although I took my road test about an hour late, I got a really nice RMV examiner and sponsor who were super encouraging. I passed it on my first try! I did get one comment from the examiner, which is to focus on the lane I was driving on instead of being obsessively focused on my surroundings when doing the maneuvers. I live in Brighton, so the location was accessible by bus on a weekday. I appreciate the fact that I reserved a spot relatively close to the road test day instead of waiting about two months when booked with the RMV. If you are an experienced driver and you need to get your Mass. license ASAP, I'd recommend Parkway Driving School!

Negative experience: Unfortunately I did not like my experience with the parkway driving school, I did some classes with them and the people weren’t very friendly as I told them I was a new driver and this is what the school is for to help teach me learn the ways of the road . I had a road test and a class before it a pre test I did not receive a email explaining those had two different dates so I missed my pre test didn’t get a refund and only got a email for my road test and before I even started my test my instructor mentioned something about my adress and where the license would be sent and he said “if you even get your license” that made me not even want to drive with him.

Negative experience: After taking the time to read the reviews and the service Parkway Driving school offers, I was excited to attend there school. Unfortunately that didn't occurring due to no way taking accountability for their actions. I spoke to a representative on Sept 8th and setup appointments for two classes, the classes were confirmed via phone. The day before the 1st class I called to see if things were still in order and was told the appointments were never made "they were only letting me know what the availability was". I asked for a refund and was told they couldn't provide what, but I straightened out that issue. I would never recommend this place to anyone and the owner was rude upon the call being transferred to her.

Fantastic experience: Boston is known for having some of the worst drivers and trying to teach a new driver in such a hostile arena can be difficult. This driving school takes care of the difficulty with their very driven and professional teachers and straight forward process to a license this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I passed today because of this school - West Roxbury is one of the most forgiving locations to practice driving. Large lanes, understanding regular drivers, not-so-populated streets. The instructors are such great and honest people. I took so classes before my test and i voiced my fears about it. The instructors Ive had calmed me down and went through the test with me bit-by-bit. If it wasnt for their understanding personalities, i wouldn't have ever gotten this license. I want to give a big thank you to Janice Badessa. Shes the best instructor of all - laughs with you, talks about life. She literally makes driving a casual event than a fearful lesson. I honestly wished I could tip these instructors. Best place for lessons - even better place for the test. The team's great!

Fantastic experience: Parkway is one of the most phenomenal schools! I had the most amazing experience with my instructor: Givaughn. I had 3-4 lessons with him and took the road exam prep course with him a week prior to my exam date and all I can say to him and the staff at Parkway is: THANK YOU! Thank you giving me tips on how to be a STRONG, CONFIDENT driver and for creating a safe, comfortable, calm space for students to excel! I passed my road test 16 days ago and couldn't be happier! YOU ALL ARE ROCKSTARS!

Fantastic experience: I knew how to drive but I needed more practice with parallel parking and my three point turn to be ready for my test. I also needed to feel a bit more comfortable. I was always nervous when trying to parallel park so I took two driving lessons, both with Givaugn. Givaugn was great and gave me several pointers about how to get my parallel park correct. At first I didn’t understand why I was doing what I was doing but Givaugn made it clear and gave me multiple ways to park and I was able to settle on one way which was useful. I wasn’t great at three point turning and I didn’t really understand how to do it but again Givaugn gave me great pointers and was very patient. I finally understood how to do a three point turn and what to look out for to do it correctly and safely. I passed my test! I would recommend getting your driving hours done here! Worth your time.

Negative experience: PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! To start-this is in no way a reflection on the wonderful driving instructors such as Janice, and others. This is a reflection on the owner, Bernadette. I have spent over 600 dollars at Parkway and my money was not value. Bernadette does not value her customers at all. To give some background-I took multiple classes at Parkway (over 10), and the day I took the road test, there was a RMV rude examiner who has a history of being rude/nasty and talking way too much during the test. I wished I read the reviews before in more detail. There have been multiple complaints against this particular examiner per RMV and in some of the google reviews. I ended up contacting the RMV and Bernadette regarding this examiner. The RMV got back to me quickly when I contacted them in regards to the examiner. They advised me to reach out to the Bernadette to see if I could get another lesson or take the road test again for free. I ended up calling the driving school and Bernadette who answers the calls and who owns the driving school answered. I explained to her what the RMV said. She began yelling, and scream-yes, you are reading that correctly-yelling and screaming to me regarding the RMV. It felt like she was attacking me. Bernadette said that it was not her fault that the RMV sent a bad examiner, and that its not her responsibility. She went on rage about how the RMV doesn't do their job, and how they are behind, and just yelling. I had to ask her to calm down several times during the call. As someone who has worked in customer service, the way she interacted and engaged with me was unprofessional. And, the fact that I had to remind her I am the customer and the way she was talking me was wrong. It was very disturbing. And it made me feel really upset. I implore you all, if you want to be valued as a person and as a paying customer, DO NOT go here. You will not pass your test and the owner, Bernadette does not value her customers at all!

Fantastic experience: I took a few lessons here and was able to pass my road test on the first try! Janice, Cole, Givaughn and Paul were super patient and great teachers and made things fun so I highly recommend them! But the road test examiner that was a brought in was super rude and impatient and was yelling at both me and the girl after me, and wouldn't even look at the students while he was speaking so he was super unprofessional but at least we passed
