Negative experience: Very rude employee. Not only hard to contact them but also their behavior is very rude. Also, I could not get fully refunded after canceling the service even though it was obviously because of their scheduling problem. They just took some of my money and did not offer clear evidence of it, which is a huge problem.

Negative experience: Amazing instructors, terrible scheduling and communication. After a terrible experience with a driving instructor from another company, I was scared to be on the road. Ash and another instructor helped me get comfortable and reduce my anxiety around driving. I had to take a break because I was pregnant and once I was ready to take classes, I reached out to Ash about five times since July. He kept saying he will get back to me, but never got back to me. Because of the quality of instruction, I kept trying to reach out to him but he never got back to me with a time. It is November now and I can’t wait any longer. I have to learn how to drive in case something goes wrong with my baby and I have to take him somewhere in case of emergency. If he had gotten back, saying that he has no availability I would have moved on and not waited around. I found another instructor very quickly and have scheduled my additional hours. If you have a hard time reaching this company, just look elsewhere. There’s others around. PS The response stated that they never took money from me - here are screenshots of my registration with them. I'm sorry to hear that someone passed away but that was never communicated to me either. It's sad trying that the owner is trying to lie their way out of this situation when they could have owned up to things and make things right.

Fantastic experience: Our twin boys completed the Safety Driving School in Raleigh this past August. The online instruction was Monday - Friday from 8am to 2pm. Instructor "Ash" was excellent, and we were so fortunate to have "Yasin" as our driving instructor. He is truly the best, and has the most calm presence. We highly recommend this program for your teens.

It is a quick and easy way to earn your permit and License. The instructors are encouraging and easy-going. At some points the class portion was a little bit boring but it’s hard to make stuff like driving fun to learn about. But other than that they are an amazing company. I would highly recommend going here to learn how to drive.

Fantastic experience: Abdul was a really good driving teacher! Very funny and friendly while being knowledgeable and informative. Before I came to the driving school I was nervous about going on the highway on the third day. But by the end of the course with Abdul I felt very comfortable and confident in my abilities on the open road. Fantastic experience: Ash was terrific to work with! We had to wait a few months between the classroom and driving portions and Ash had no issues with scheduling. We had to reschedule the driving portion at the last minute and Ash was more than accommodating. All questions were answered in a very timely manner. Abdul was our daughter's driving instructor and was fantastic! She was anxious at first but he did not push her and was so reassuring. Fantastic experience: As a parent of a soon to be teenage driver, I did quite a bit of research on Driver Ed classes and decided to go with Safety Driving NC and I couldn’t have been happier! Safety Driving NC offers both in person and online classes. Due to my son’s hectic school and sport schedule, he decided online. He enjoyed the class and was the perfect fit for him. He then immediately started 1:1 behind the wheel instruction with his fabulous instructor, Abdul. My son enjoyed every aspect of his driving course. I can also say this: Ash Bahour, the owner, made the process streamless, was extremely efficient, and when I had a few questions he responded immediately. 5 Stars driving school!

Negative experience: I had sent an email expressing my concern that this class was so badly scheduled that it would cause conflict with my school; no response. I received NO driving lessons for 30 hours and NO 6 hour training course but this driving school still charged me. WHAT INSANITY is this??? They have kept not 20, but SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS OF MY MONEY. THIS IS NOT A CHEAP THING. I NEED A REFUND. Beware the man behind this is a scammer and will not give your money back, even when you have SCHOOL during their classes.

The time on the road was great we had a great time, we talked and it was very comfortable. Negative experience: My son completed the online portion of the class and passed the test. This test was via a Google Document. My son received a text at 11:27 PM on a Sunday night stating 43/50, he had passed. The date for the eye exam was scheduled for 8/16. School began on August 15. I sent an email dated July 28 with my concern. I texted Ash on 8/16 to follow up. We were told to go to the DMV for the test as a walk in. Had he answered my email, my child would not have missed school. When scheduling behind the wheel, I was sent dates. Unfortunately, that dates had conflicts so I reached out. To expedite the process, I offered dates in September and October. Ash called and was very rude/mad. He told me all dates were booked in September and October; I asked about November. He continued to argue. I asked if I could take the records to an alternate school for the driving portion. He said no, my son would need to take the entire program over. I had already paid an huge fee at this school. Ash said he would refund the money to take the entire course, including classroom time, elsewhere. Once speaking with other schools, I was informed a SBTS800 form would allow for him to move to behind the wheel training. While offering the refund seemed like the school was showing a meniscal amount of professionalism and integrity, it was actually calculated retaliation on the part of the owner. Now that he processed the refund, he claims he cannot file the form. This school needs to be held accountable for miscommunication. Hours offered for behind the wheel need to be clearly presented prior to booking since it requires some children to miss school, the owner needs to know the processes in the county, conduct business in a professional manner and come into 2022 with up to date testing standards. I need to have an option to get the SBTS800 form so my child can complete the behind the wheel requirement with a professional school that does not require missing school. The owner intentionally misrepresented the process of the county by claiming the course would need to be repeated, with direct retaliation being the goal by offering a refund. I too have the text messages. You offered two dates. That is it. I did voice concern with a new driver in rush hour. You forced a refund and knowing the form mentioned above could be sent to a new school. This is the direct definition of retaliation. There was one day you offered 5-7, which was a Saturday. I asked repeatedly to look at November to which you replied, "I do not work for you." I also invite anyone with questions to reach out directly. The biggest issue here is your company is lacking in relevance by using an antiqued system for testing, unprofessional texting a child at 11:27PM with test results while never sending anything official to the parent and forcing a refund because you stated the course would need to be retaken. The refund offer was not in good faith or in respect to come to a resolution. That is the issue, not the dates. It was retaliation. I have notified the BBB and the DMV Board of Directors for Driving School regulations.

Fantastic experience: I called many driving schools in an effort to get my son scheduled for driver's ed. This was the only one that called me back. They were always professional and they did what they said they would do. My son has a busy sports schedule, but they were able to work with us to get the driving portion done at times that worked for him. He was also well prepared to pass the permit test the first time he took it. I am happy to recommend them to others!

Negative experience: Honestly, worst customer service ever. All he wants to do is refund, no accountability for the bad customer service. One driver took out my teen and was on her phone and ignoring him! Then, paid for drivers ed for my second teen several months out (with plenty of avail in that class) and they skipped over us. No communication, no emails. Answer is always ' well, why didn't you call me?' Boils my blood. Also- the reply from owner isn’t accurate- the review isn’t about bending the rules (i never asked for rules to be bent- And my son will complete classes before I asked for the behind the wheel) and that’s months after I paid for classes that we did not receive any communication on). My review is about the lack of communication. They are, however, very good about refunding money.

I had avoided driving because of fear of being behind the wheel. Learning to drive in my late forties was quite the personal challenge. I had the pleasure of having Ms. Jennelle and Ms. Michaella as my teachers. They truly exceeded my expectations; their professionalism and empathy made it easy for me to become a good and safe driver. I would give them 10 stars if allowed. I wish them all the best!

Negative experience: They never answer the call. Every time the call goes to voicemail and you never get a call back. I filled the form the website a month ago. At least give the potential customers a call and let them know if or when are the classes going to start for them. "Not for A phone call, I am talking about some 25 calls and some 10 messages left over the period of two months. I understand you are busy. But when the voicemail says that you would be contacted back, it is only professional to give a call in a week, a month, or even two months. I did not rate you for your product. I am sure you guys are good instructors. My complaint was regarding customer service. " Only if you cared for customers calls as much as you do for Google reviews.

Fantastic experience: Great well run class, educated and informative teachers, and great instruction when behind the wheel. Overall a really great experience!

Positive experience: We appreciated the option of private driving instruction in Covid times with the option to take classes over Zoom as well as beating the long back log of the school system. The scheduling was very easy which I really appreciate. My daughter received quality instruction, but the mask situation with driving instructors was an issue and almost a deal breaker. The original instructor she was going to drive with made it clear that she did not wear a mask, but that my daughter could if she wanted to. I then asked for a new instructor and she then drove with Ash, who was willing to wear a mask, yet wore it incorrectly, making her uncomfortable. Like a previous poster mentioned, it puts teens in a very awkward position to address when we have been preaching mask wearing to them as the law since June. She enjoyed Ash as an instructor, but this was really not cool to have a casual attitude about masks during Covid!

Fantastic experience: Ash did an incredible job working and communicating with me concerning getting all of the requirements accomplished within a small window of time (and with very little notice). While virtual driving school isn't ideal I feel that Ash did his very best to keep the kids engaged in class. He was incredibly understanding and patient. My son references things he learned from Ash (on the road and in class) often. I was confused about the entire process and Ash took the time to explain it to me (several:) times. I would highly recommend using Safety Driving School to anyone in need.

Fantastic experience: Ash went above and beyond to help make sure my daughter had the things she needed in time for her DMV appointment, despite delays created by the DMV themselves by running out of their own certificate stocks! Kids aren't very excited to take safety courses, but as a parent, it's reassuring to know that the business is going to deliver on the promise and make sure you have what you need. My daughter had no complaints, and the business owner was awesome. 5-stars. Would use again.

Positive experience: Instruction was fine both online and driving. However, in the middle of Covid, with cases on the rise, the driving instructor refused to wear a mask. Additionally my child was uncomfortable with the constant religious rhetoric. We had paid for everything and didn't feel we could complain about the instructor not wearing a mask without consequences, so made sure my daughter was as protected as she could be.

We were so happy to hear about the online classes that Safety Driving School offered during the quarantine since the drivers' ed class my daughter was going to take at her school was cancelled. Ash was quick to respond to my questions, offered a reasonable price, and provided an excellent online teaching program. Ash was also the one to give my daughter Behind the Wheel classes. He was reassuring, kind, and instructive as he rode with her. He started her out slowly and then gradually moved her to more advanced lessons. After the driving lessons, we were given a checklist of items to take with us to the DMV to make sure we didn't miss anything. He advised us on how to get registered with the paperwork from Jordan and then was extremely efficient in getting the driving hours scheduled before his 15th birthday. My son said he was great. Negative experience: My instructor could barely speak English, and the test was full of mistakes. When I tried to ask the instructor what he meant with questions, he would either get defensive or just give me the answer. He also left the room a lot during the test. Here's just one example of the test.
