Fantastic experience: Needed a flat tire changed and Kev V was here in less than an hour and got me on my way quickly. Very professional and friendly!

Negative experience: I’m a first responder and my vehicle broke down around 1 am. I purchased a membership while sitting in my vehicle waiting for my mechanic. The car is on federal property and i’ve witnessed an exception be made in the past which is why I paid for the membership. I waited 12 hours to make the call and explained how dangerous the situation was as again, its parked at a fire station. I was on the phone with a rep and she transferred to a supervisor saying that an exception cannot be made. I did advise that i’d like the membership to be canceled, her name was Tamika, she said “okay fine have a good day,” and disconnected the call. I called back because she was not only rude, there was no time frame given regarding the refund, just a disconnected call. I spoke with a gentleman who was nice, polite and professional who explained that there is a same day service fee for a tow. It wasn’t mentioned to me on the previous calls, so i wasn’t aware of that. He was astounded as that could have been a resolve is explained correctly, however I was hung up on instead.

Negative experience: I have reached out to AAA privately twice, however, they continue to ignore me. My family and I have been members of AAA since 2009. Rarely have we ever used the services offered by AAA. However, on October 19, 2024 and December 14, 2024, my parents and I have experienced horrible service and we question why we are paying a membership fee. On both occasions, we could not get ahold of an agent. In the October 2024 occasion I had small animals in the car on an unusually hot October day and for my senior citizen parents, their incident left them stranded in an extremely cold day. Both occasions we were in a populated area and not in some remote part of the country. No idea how AAA can advertise they have "Legendary Service" when they literally leave their customers hanging and stranded. Shame they are the only game in town for this service. They should be broken up. I will be shopping around for other services. I am beyond dumbfounded by the lack of competence AAA has offered me and my family in times of need.

Negative experience: AAA refused to offer us any assistance when our kayak rack failed and two kayaks on the roof shifted into high speed seashore traffic. A member since 1982, they told us to go pound sand while we sat stranded in the narrow left shoulder with vehicles speeding inches by at 80 mph. Thanks for nothing AAA!!
