Negative experience: Take one look at how people drive here in Orlando and it's obvious that these guys are completely incompetent.

Negative experience: My granddaughter was awarded six hours. The last day she was to do two hours. The instructor car broke down after 15 minutes. The instructor stated they would reschedule. I just spoke to someone on the phone and she stated. The manager Chris Earl said if you were in the car 15 minutes or more you don’t get the rest of your time. She went through a program so I’m wondering did the program pay them ahead of time for her lesson. Did they get paid the full amount and now don’t want to honor the allotted time. It’s not her fault that the car broke down. The check engine light was on so car was not a reliable vehicle. Just be aware of this company

Negative experience: 12/15/2024 at 1050am Instructor with a student pulled into the Plaza Live parking lot and was driving around. I work security and parked my car in one of the lanes of the parking lot that only had 3 cars in it. The instructor gave me a nasty attitude and demanded I move my car out of the way so she could proceed with her lesson. I refused. You gave me a nasty attitude and I gave it right back. Learn some manners. Do you even have permission from the Property Management company to be using their parking lot for business? Update: The same instructor was on Plaza Live property on 12/28/24 and I confronted her. She gave me a nasty attitude, especially when I asked her if she had permission from the property management company to conduct business on site. Just a nasty individual all around. I will definitely be filing a complaint with their management team.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took Driver’s Education though SCPS. Florida Safety Council gave the in person lessons at the end of the course. They were easy with scheduling when I made the appointments. My daughter had the same instructor each time, Tae. She really enjoyed her lessons and felt so much more confident going to take the driving test. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a calm and clear instructor to teach their child the proper basics in driving and prepare them for the test!

Fantastic experience: Such a valuable experience for new drivers! The instructors are all so patient and nice, especially MaryBeth Bridges. My son has much more confidence behind the wheel.

Fantastic experience: This office was so accommodating and fit in my son's driving test without obligation on the same day I requested. Everyone was friendly and efficient.

Negative experience: I just had to deal with Juanita Black. Not really sure what she does up there. SHE IS SO RUDE. She was mad that I was calling because it was a holiday. (July 4th was yesterday) I am sorry that you hate your job, maybe you souldn't work at a place that you don't want to. She was extreammly rude, not willing to answer any questions because she said its a holiday. Then why are you there. I was trying to book online and she was telling me everything I saw online is no longer available? Really all your classes are no longer available? She said her manager is Chris Earl and to deal with him because she shouldn't work on a holiday? Safety Councel why even have someone there if they are going to treat people like that? Juania Black should not be answering phones or dealing with customers.

Negative experience: We had an appointment on the first of July at 10:15 and nobody showed up. The instructor had an incident and they didn’t tell us till 10:40. They rescheduled us for 5:30. We came again at 5:15 and that the instructor came around 5:45.There was also nobody around at that time as the premises closes at 4.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! The staff is so kind and attentive. Mary Beth was great, my son enjoyed his lesson, it helped prepare him for his road test.

Negative experience: Their customer service is Devine !! So professional, i was left speechless… “that was sarcasm btw” HORRIBLE , don’t go to work if you don’t want to work !!

Negative experience: Really bad experience with this new staff. When Ms. Carol, was their, things where easy, she took the time to explain things to you. I had to do my refresher on my OSHA 500, so I did it VIA, Zoom, the instructor teaching the course was good, but he is in a different time zone, which disrupted my schedule as a business owner, for meetings after classes with my staff for the day to day operations. They also have me on file with my business, so you think that someone would have in formed me about the difference in time. Please read the white lettering that would be in an acronym form so you know the time zone your instructor is in when you take online classes, cause if you don’t, they won’t tell you or try to explain it to you, or Do the in person class. If anything. I won’t be taken anymore classes. I will seek other means to facilitate my certifications.

Negative experience: The road test use to be 60 dollars. Now it's 92 dollars?? What the hell?

Negative experience: I just love how you guys lock the doors prior to your close time. What a waste of somebody’s time to drive out there and you won’t answer your phone and you lock your doors early. Bad business!

Negative experience: Booking driving lessons for my cousin and nobody answers the phone multiple times throughout the day…do they expect her to go there with the driving knowledge she has yet to learn? This seems to be an issue with others, hope they get competent office staff soon.

Negative experience: Horrible! The instructor did not care at all! I did everything accordingly and I wasted my time and money when I arrived early and he came later than expected.

Fantastic experience: The programs they provide are very informative and detailed. Their staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They make learning easy and interesting. Maggie is an amazing person to learn from. Highly recommend

Negative experience: I would never recommend anyone to this company, never there so unprofessional don’t nobody know how to assist with your appointments when you call don’t nobody know how to answer the phone if we needed people to work we should just hire our children. This exactly what it seems like you guys hired so I would never bring business to this company. I would never recommend this company.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional enviornment, building is dirty and empty. Had to find someone myself, receptionist appears to not want to work. The very impatient driving instructor(who was doubting me from the beginning and being very negative) i was given was a scam artist, let me drive for 5 seconds in heavy traffic only to stop me because I almost tapped a cone. He proceeded to take the wheel and said and quote "Ill take over from here" at that point he did the exact same thing he said not to do and tapped the cone himself which was "the cause" of him stopping me. They just want your money, not at all worth it, go somewhere rated alittle higher.

Fantastic experience: The experience was awesome David Avalos was my sons instructor . My son Cameron told me David helped him tremendously with his driving skills and was so nice and personable with him. Thank you very much David and the Florida Safety Council.

Fantastic experience: JoAnne Stone is a true asset to your company. I have gone through a few of these courses in different formats and dread every single one. Her course on the other hand kept me engaged from start to finish. Her personable and down to earth instruction method is amazing.

Positive experience: Great place to do your drivers test. Cost of $60 and they have a car for you to use. Once you pass, you take the paper to the DMV and pick up your license.

Negative experience: Do not buy online courses from this company. They don't deliver as promised. It's been 3 days since I finished my TLSAE course and so far I haven't received my certificate. I've already had to cancel 2 appointments at the DMV because they didn't give me the certificate within the promised time. And they don't answer emails. I have already sent more than 15 emails to two different addresses of the company and I have not received any response. It is not a reliable company.

Fantastic experience: David Avalon was my instructor for the driving lesson and he took into consideration my past experience and pushed me to do everything better. Great instructor and do recommend having him as an instructor.

Negative experience: Don’t bother calling to ask them ANY questions! And if you do skip the rude Spanish lady who never gave me her name working the regular rep lines and go straight for Miss. Doris because you WILL not get any of your questions answered, you will get yelled at , berated, disrespected and hung up on! I’ve managed hundreds of people and would never hang up or get upset with my client or customer!!! Shameful -can’t handle her job and she needs retraining and if that means everyone needs to retrain because of her then so be it!! Hopefully this gets fixed because it’s not right especially withholding very important information that I need. I had to use my husbands cell phone to call back because they would not answer my number for 10whole minutes. Reps need retraining since they are hanging up on clients and refusing to answer calls. Can’t wait to see what class is like here and what the atmosphere is like if that was me just trying to get registered

Positive experience: Great for driving lessons, kinda bad for driving tests. My instructor kept cutting me off while I was talking and kinda lied about what I did on the test in terms of how I lost points, nonetheless I still passed.

Negative experience: I called them. They said hold the last slot. Then I came there They said someone have taken the slot. Bad services.

Fantastic experience: We were very pleased with this place. My spouse is from Brazil and I wanted someone else to take a look at how the driving was going. The instructor was very friendly and the experience here was excellent. My spouse passed the driving test at their facility and then went to the DMV to get the picture and license. It all went very smooth.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Florida Safety Council for hands on driver training. My son who is 15 and a brand new driver really benefited from this program. Rick was his instructor 2 out of the 3 sessions and let me just say, he was the nicest man! He really made my son feel comfortable behind the wheel and help gain confidence as a new driver. Fantastic experience: I used the testing center to take an exam that allots for four hours of test time. The process of entering the facility and starting the exam went smoothly as well as requesting breaks periods. I did not experience an issues accessing my exam, during the exam or when I was ready to submit. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would use them again for future tests.

The Florida Safety Council does a great job of helping students become more comfortable with driving by making them more comfortable with the road and training them to take their driver's test. My last teacher, Shayne, was very helpful and kind throughout the session. Would recommend for anyone who wants to sharpen their driving skills and gain more confidence.

My daughter (16 years old) just took safety driving course lately. The excellent team has made this whole experience for my daughter and I extremely pleasant and worry-free. My daughter was very nervous about this driving course before we signed up. Pooja was kind to listen to my concerns and worries and then recommend Instructor Rick . Pooja was trying very hard to arrange Intrucor Rick for my daughter's needs. After taking Rick's driving lessons, my daughter has gained great confidence and improved her driving skills to be a better defensive driver big time. I am so thrilled to have such an outstanding Instructor Rick to provide important driving lessons for her early stage of driving to reinforce good driving habits. At the end my examiner asked me how I thought I did, I automatically assumed I failed but look at god. Thank you so much!! He not only made my son feel very comfortable with being with his behind the wheel class but made sure he Explained to him throughout the entire process and was a very positive and pleasant instructor! Fantastic experience: As a long-time driver and local law enforcement officer, I relied on the Florida Safety Council to provide my daughter with additional driver training, over and above what I taught her, to enhance her skills and competence. Through the “Bundle Package,” my daughter received three (3) 2-hour lessons and the road test, which she passed on the first attempt. The staff was extremely professional, courteous, and patient. My daughter is a safe and careful driver thanks to the instruction she received. Thank you on behalf of grateful parents!

Fantastic experience: Shayne did amazing as an instructor. Learned a lot of important information.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE!! I was running 2 mint late cause it’s traffic in that area always and I called them multiple times and they kept transferring me to the same person who let it goes to the voicemail. When I finally got there my instructor seem agitated. When it was time to get in the car for the road test, he was rude about it. I was nervous and tried to have conversations to ease my mind and he don’t respond. When we got into the neighborhood, the car in front of me was speeding and came to a quick stop so I pressed on the break too hard , I lost points for that, and after I was going 30 and he claim it was 36 and said that’s an automatic failure. I could’ve spent my we earned $60 in something better. I passed my road test at the dmv in Clarcona. Highly recommend that location.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took the three two hour driving lessons with the Florida Safety Council. Her first session was with Rick and her next two sessions were with Shayne. Both were gentleman and very professional. My daughter has health issues and anxiety, but felt comfortable with both instructors. Next week is her driver's license test; I will try to update after her test. Thank you to Rick, Shayne and the Florida Safety Council. One instructor I forgot to mention was Gregory because my daughter didn't get to drive with him. On the day of her second lesson she wasn't well, but we showed up anyway. After he asked how she was feeling, he advised that she should reschedule and not drive that day. He was a gentleman and very professional, as well. Update: she passed the first time and now has her license. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about David. He has given my son 2 driving lessons and more importantly A LOT of confidence. This is the second time we have done driving lessons with the safety council and it just keeps getting better each time. The instructors are patient and easy to talk to. They teach the kids things that I wouldn't think to talk them through. They walk out after only three lessons with so much knowledge. Every kid learning to drive should take these classes! Thank you David!

Negative experience: I tried calling and emailing them for two weeks and I still received no response. Bit disappointed . My friend also tried contacting them for weeks but still no reply.

Fantastic experience: My daughter completed the 3 (2 hours per training) free sessions. All of her instructors (Greg Major/Mildred Santos) were excellent. They provided excellent hands on training as well as feedback. Highly recommending to any parent with a teenage driver to have them participate in this program.

Fantastic experience: FSC has been great! My daughter qualified for 6 hours of lessons through FLVS Driver's Ed. All instructors were very professional and patient. David and Rick were great, offering tips and tricks..and even life long advice! And Lisa..thank you for managing all of the lessons! Highly recommend utilizing this service.

Negative experience: I don’t use this company but they have claimed my quiet residential street as their own and are always blocking the road and have student drivers on my street 24/7. In my time writing this review I watched them block two drivers from getting down the road. Maybe they can be a little more considerate and teach in different places as to not bother people who pay to live on that street.

Negative experience: How is disney and universal opening before this place what happen to essentiall needs... how this place continues to operate as a non profit business is a joke

Fantastic experience: My son took 3 driving lessons with instructor, David Avalos, and I could not be more satisfied. Once he got his permit he had been driving with us here and there, but was a beginning driver when starting the lessons. David gave him more confidence, and taught him things that my husband and I would not have known were part of the test. Would highly recommend!
