Fantastic experience: At this driving school, I learned many super helpful things in order to drive safely and responsibly. I could probably state a better thing that I learnt but the thing that I remember the best and vividly remember hearing is that when you turn, it has to be the lane closest to you. But there are more important thing I learnt of course, such as (the most difficult things for me) parking uphill and downhill parking, and how to merge into lanes properly.

Fantastic experience: One thing that i learned at drives ed is how to properly become a defensive driver along with how to uphill and downhill park. Until taking drivers ed I had no idea what uphill and downhill parking was along with how to do it, drivers ed teaches how to properly and safely do both. I also learned how to properly scan my area and be ready for potential hazards that can occur whilst drive , such as, a car not signaling and what procedures to do when they do so. there’s many factors to becoming a defensive driver and another example of how drivers ed has helped me become one is the acronym SMOG .SMOG is short for Signal- Signaling left or right while either lane changing or whilst you are doing uphill/ downhill and turnabouts Mirrors- looking out your 3 mirrors Over the shoulder - Looking back at your shoulder to see your blind spot G- Go if everything is clear.

Fantastic experience: The technique of SMOG has helped me so much with my uphill parking and when switching lanes, a great thing to remember.

Fantastic experience: As a former student at City Xpress I am very pleased with how the instructors taught us not just how to safety drive on the road, but how to be prepared for our future tests. One thing I learned which I think will be helpful to other students is remembering how to back out of alleyways. Making two stops is a very important to remember, one before the sidewalk and one before the road. Make sure to check for no pedestrians, animals, or cars. Good luck current students, you are in good hands.

Negative experience: Teaches drivers to go 10 miles an hour under speed limit on 2 lane roads. Dangerous situation to put driver in.

Why would you want to buy reviews ? I would recommend to save the hazzle & your money and most importantly your Time! They are setting up the student up for FAILURE!

Negative experience: The first email to last email long and disrespectful. Rude to drivers, repeated problem. Poor social skills. Scheduling:few openings, dragged on months, no openings. Nightmare!! Regretted it immediately. Go ANYWHERE ELSE.

Fantastic experience: Extremely helpful school. My daughter enjoyed the classes with the instructors. Very flexible, had not meet a school that offer lessons at 7am the earliest and 10pm the latest two times of week and 9pm the other 5 days. Scheduling was easy to do via email.

Negative experience: I only gave them one star because it does not let me give them zero but this place is unbelievable they don’t return your call right away it takes them a week they don’t work with you if an emergency comes up and even if you give them advance notice they still just want to charge you it’s taken them almost 2 years to complete my daughter‘s drivers Ed and they blame it on Covid But my daughter’s friends have already completed their drivers within eight months even with Covid going on. Don’t waste your money with them their customer service and communication are very poor. The high reviews on here are fake and pushed by the staff to the kids look at the parent's reviews those are the true reviews.

Negative experience: Was left in a meijer parking lot for 24 minutes while my instructor was inside grabbing a drink and medicine for a headache. She came out later with 5 grocery bags.

Negative experience: Fake reviews (read below), was on the phone on my first time driving EVER and made me uncomfortable, talked about how much better her other students are, and just overall terrible experience. EDIT: Got my license practicing with someone else. 10x better experience after being gaslit into thinking I wasn't meant to drive. Listen to your customers with legitimate needs, don't bring them down because they don't know something.

Fantastic experience: I learned quite a bit during this driving process and City Xpress gave me the tools need to be a educated and safe driver. To add they did make sure to properly sanitize the car between each new driver.

Negative experience: This place is a complete joke. My child has been waiting since June of 2021 to get behind the wheel. They claimed covid delays. He did the online class. He has his permit and is about to be 16. But they won’t take him out to drive and get his hours. They don’t answer phone calls or texts. No one is at the building when you go there either. I might be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau unless something changes. I probably lost $450 to this scam artist who runs this place with total incompetence. Check out the recent reviews for this place, many are terrible. I would give it no stars if I could.

Negative experience: My daughter completed the online class in November and 10 months later she has yet to be able to complete her observation hours with them so she can get her license. She was asked to observe today and when we arrived the office was closed and the instructor doesn't respond back to messages. I have asked for them to email/contact me since I paid for the course and I obviously have to drive her to classes since she doesn't have her license and the instructor continues to reach out to my daughter instead. I also think that its ridiculous that if you call them their message says they will respond back within a week.

Negative experience: I’m really upset with the service my son received. Every other school my father and I called says there are 35-40 questions and this school has 100 questions. They say it’s a state requirement but my father, who’s an attorney has been researching and knows someone who works at the dmv and they said something doesn’t seem right. I’m really disappointed. I wouldn’t dare recommend this driving school. I feel it’s set up for the kids to fail, that way we can pay additional money. It’s sad and very pathetic. Smh

Fantastic experience: I took my Behind the Wheel hours with Instructor Heidi who might be the most helpful person I’ve ever met, not to be dramatic. When I did something right, she left me know in words of encouragement. In times when I made errors, she didn’t scream, but instead reminded me of what I could be doing and some tricks that help to remember them. While normally a very nervous person, (just overall pretty hard on myself), I found calamity in Instructor Heidi. In our hours spent driving, not only did I find confidence in my driving, but within myself. Today, I took my drivers test for the first time remembering what Instructor Heidi told me and passed. I truly believe that her tips, and advice helped me in the end. So, if you’re looking at reviews wondering if City Driving Express is worth it, take it from me, who experienced it first hand, that you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Overall this driving school is amazing. It is straightforward, you learn everything there is to know and even beyond that. Not only did we all get to learn a lot but the instructor (Mrs. Valentine) makes you feel like you're not just s student. She made the class go by really quickly and I regret not asking more questions about her life because it seemed like she has an interesting life.

The learning process is great as well my instructor gave us examples and personal experiences which made it more interesting, more easier to understand what we were learning.

They made it easy on you telling you everything you need to Write down for quiz they mainly only went over the things on quiz, and there was some fun work we did. 10/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: Scheduled a class and a behind the wheel session here 3 times and every time I showed up, doors were locked & no one was there. Every time I waited for 20-30 minutes calling and emailing and nobody replied until hours later. Always rude on the phone if anyone answers at all and extremely unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Even with covid and donning it through online I felt that my teacher really strict but in a very good why and only wanted the best for the students. But I had a good experience and learned really what I need especially with the notes she give you everything you need for each test and is always reminding us what’s coming up so that we are prepared for everything that’s on the tests.
