Fantastic experience: Very cooperative, easy and fast. Thomas is very nice and is a good instructor to learn from! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Thomas is an amazing, caring, on-time and reliable teacher who has taught my two teenager sons to learn how to drive successfully. And just after 6 hours of learning with him, my boys have improved by leaps and bounds from knowing nothing about driving even in an empty parking lot to be confidently and safely starting to drive on the street. The con is that you would have to pay $10 extra each time if you want him to pick up and drop off your kid at your house. Otherwise, you would have to drop off and pick up your kid at his school. But overall, I would use his service, again and highly recommend Thomas to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I took 3 classes from Thomas. He is an excellent teacher, who observes and corrects all mistakes and teaches really well. Highly recommend taking few driving lessons from him. I practiced a lot apart from the lessons as well, but the lessons did train me well, specifically for the test. Thank you Thomas.

Fantastic experience: I took a package of 5 private driving lessons D.N.V. Distinguished Driving School recently. I always had anxiety about driving- so I really needed a patient and calm instructor. Thomas is perfect! He knows exactly how and when to introduce more challenging situations. During the classes he is patient and calmly corrects you when you make a mistake- while making adjustments to ensure safety. He focuses on developing good driving habits- not just focused on the test. Overall, I would highly recommend Thomas!

Fantastic experience: When I first scheduled a lesson, I honestly thought I already knew how to drive(for the most part I did). Thomas did point out mistakes that I was doing and helped me corrected them. He communicated well with me both on the drive and scheduling. To be honest I feel like I have gotten a bit better, especially driving at night and through the city.

Positive experience: I appreciate Thomas. He gave good tips and great feedback on how to drive. But don't take it as im blaming you. I know your job can be hard, but although you are a great instructor, please be more aware for the beginners. As a beginner myself, I enjoyed the lessons and learning throughout the process, I just needed more learning tips a little bit and patient criticism would be nice too. Overall, Thomas is a great instructor he's not too bad:)

Negative experience: I had 10hrs scheduled with this Vietnamese guy for 700$. Idk his name. First day of class (15/1) this guy didn’t tell me anything about the car. He assumed that i as a beginner knew everything.ALWAYS shouting, SUPER RUDE. Always on the call. On the last day he said ‘i must say you are not prepared’. Of course i am not thanks to you and i feel like if you can’t teach to beginners the driving in 10 hr you guys are terrible. Its your fault. Stop treating to people rude. If you can’t teach beginners don’t take them in your classes.

Fantastic experience: For context, I'm a young but experienced driver. I enrolled in DNV for about 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction so that I felt well prepared for my driving test. I wanted to make sure I passed the first time. Thomas, my instructor, was great at pointing out areas that I needed to improve. He gave me a lot of confidence and provided simple, direct feedback.

Fantastic experience: I’m a new driver and I never drove before in my life! After taking driving lessons with Thomas, in just 10 hours and with very minimal practice outside the lessons I passed my DMV driving test with zero mistakes! Apparently, the instructor I got was super tough and fails everyone who takes the test for the first time. However, despite it being my first time she complimented my driving skills and said that she’s “never seen anything like it before”! She even gave me a smiley face! All of this is thanks to Thomas and his good teaching. It really prepared me for the real test and taught me how to be more confident while driving. If you’re someone like me who has never been behind a wheel before, I really recommend this class and you should take it! Thank you very much, Thomas. He was patient, did not yell compared to other instructors that I have heard, and he tells you your mistakes straight forward and clearly. I passed my first time after an hour review before the test, so you know what mistakes you need to correct. Very encouraging, professional, and calm. On the day of my test, he told me I had the hardest testers at the DMV, but I felt prepared. Thank you and much appreciated.

I feel that I did a pretty great job because of his help, and after getting used to driving a bit, he didn't use the brake on his side at all. He did ask for the payment sooner than promised, but overall he helped me a lot.

Fantastic experience: Solid job from Thomas; gave good feedback on areas to improve, reliable in timing.

Negative experience: The instructor claimed his schedule is so busy and tried to schedule all the 10 hours (5 classes) in 5 straight days and scheduled the DMV test on 6th day. Not sure how a new driver can learn all the skills and pass in a week. If instructors schedule is full, do not schedule any new classes. Not a good value for money spent. Also not sure on all other 5 star reviews seems to be unreal update: this review is from my wife Anandhi. Even if you provide free training, we are not interested in your service.

Fantastic experience: My experience with my Driving Instructor(Thomas) was a very engaging and helpful one. Thomas was very detailed as he properly taught me the rules of the road, driving etiquette, and certain techniques to use as it will help me be a safer driver for the future.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a great driving school for my daughter, and I'm happy I found a D.N.V. driving school. Thomas is a great instructor, very professional, responsible, accurate, and what is most important, provides effective driving classes. She passed the DMV test from the first attempt, and the DMV officer who took the test said she is a good driver. I appreciate Tomas's help in achieving this! I plan to call Thomas for my younger daughter driving classes when the time comes for her to apply for the DL.
