AP Driving School

AP Driving School is a premier, DMV-approved driving school based in Irvine, California, with over four decades of experience since 1978. We are fully licensed and bonded, serving residents across Southern and Northern California with a commitment to safety, professionalism, and student success. Our mission is to transform your journey toward independent driving into a positive, comfortable, and confident experience.

We offer comprehensive Driver Education programs tailored for both teenagers and adults. Teens are guided through the mandatory state-approved online drivers ed courses, while adults can prepare effectively for their written exams with our flexible online resources. For behind-the-wheel training, our highly experienced, DMV-certified instructors provide personalized in-car lessons in a variety of package sizes—from single refresher sessions to extensive multi-lesson bundles. We also offer standalone DMV road test services, allowing you to schedule your official test with our certified instructor and a well-maintained vehicle.

At AP Driving School, we prioritize your convenience and financial flexibility. We understand that learning to drive is an investment, which is why we keep our fees competitive and offer affordable financing options through Affirm. With flexible scheduling available evenings and on weekends, plus payment plans that fit your budget, we make it easy to fit training into your busy life. Join hundreds of satisfied students who have rated us highly on Google and Yelp for our patience, clear communication, and high pass rates.
