Fantastic experience: My teen’s feedback on this Safeway Driving school location is that they have very competent instructors, who answered questions promptly and decisively, and they felt adequately prepared for the road test. As a parent, my feedback is that the team is well-qualified, the online classroom instruction is convenient, the in-person drives are a must-do, and the road test is recommended to set your driver up for success. We are glad to have had this experience and will use the school for our next child.

Negative experience: Charges 4 times every where else for driving test. I am 65 and a few years ago forgot to renew license, Texas made me start all over, so jumped through hoops and had to take another driving test, which was going to have to wait 3-4 weeks for appointment for, contacted 3 driving schools to get price to take now-there price was 4 times what every other school in area charged. SMH been driving 50 years I will take my chances on waiting another 3 weeks for appointment at DPS.

Fantastic experience: My experience with SafeWay Driving The Woodlands was excellent! I have recently moved to Texas from Scotland, and I needed to get my license and gain confidence driving in the USA. I did a three lesson package and also my driving test with instructor, Felipe. I really enjoyed my lessons and he was a great teacher. Corey at the office was very helpful in scheduling my lessons and helping me complete the process and pass the test. Thanks so much everyone!

Fantastic experience: Safeway is the best hands down! I went through their program in high school. Fast forward, I also just put my 16 & 17 yr old through the program. It was great curriculum/training back then & still is today. Driving is a life skill and I’m grateful my parents forced me through it. I now have paid it forward to my kids. I feel better knowing I’m giving my kids the best skills out there in today’s tough driving situations. Take it from me, ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY! HANDS DOWN!!

The staff is friendly and professional, willing to assist you with whatever your needs are. I had a great time with them, and they helped me build my confidence as a driver and encouraged safe driving with pertinent instruction and many a helpful tip. With SafeWay, driving never seemed easier!

Negative experience: I have found it nearly impossible to schedule drives, despite spending hours each week clicking refresh on the drive schedule link during the window when new slots are supposed to be opened. Unless you can do a drive at 11 am or 1 pm on a weekday, you are out of luck. Despite reassurances that new drivers are starting, the process has not improved. In general the reviews have been positive, so hopefully this is just temporary.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to Corey and the staff at Safeway for helping me get my drive test out of the way! Mr Felipe was an amazing driver to do my test with. He spent plenty of time teaching and talking with me before the actual test and helped me out SO much. My anxiety cleared up so quick and he was an absolutely pleasure to drive with during the whole process. I was able to go to the DPS immediately and get my drivers license. Thank you all, again. Fantastic experience: Okay, SOOOO…. Let me say, this was life changing for me. I no longer had a valid TDL as the person I was with for years was so controlling, etc. that I was never allowed to renew, had I done so, there would have been consequences. With that being said, I got out of there finally only to be told I would have to take a road test, a written exam, all bc it had been years. So essentially I had to start all over. So here at Safeway, Corey helped me every step of the way and after reluctantly sharing my story, it was as if he KNEW it was really important that I do this ASAP….. he got me in there the same week!!!! I took the road test with Mr. Taylor, Corey knew I was nervous, he gave me encouragement all along the way, and calmed my nerves. Family? Don’t really have any, so Corey was my biggest cheerleader. Thank you so much Corey!! He has no idea what he did for me!!! Then Mr. Taylor…. The instructor?? Let me drive 30 min before taking my test and gave me pointers BEFORE the test. He scored me a perfect score on the parallel parking!! He taught me things I didn’t even know that day!!! I had been driving for YEARS!! Bc of him I parked perfectly!!! Thank y’all so so so much for changing my life that day…. Safe way let them know two people did something extraordinary for a woman they helped get her independence back!!!!

Fantastic experience: This is our third child we have put through this Safeway location. They are always friendly and responsive. Instructors are amazing, between my last two kids they had all the instructors. I am always nervous to let my child drive alone. However, I know they are as prepared as they can be at sixteen

Fantastic experience: My teenage son was reluctant to start driving so we started at Safeway as they have the dual control cars. This gave him confidence to start. He had good instructors, easy to schedule online, we did practice hours with us parents. He took his test with Safeway. I am confident he is a safe driver. We will be back with the next son once he’s old enough!

Fantastic experience: Due to the recent resignation of the Office Manager for my local SafeWay office, drive tests were temporarily suspended. Unfortunately, this created a problem since my son had to complete his test within several days which was previously planned. To assist us, the Woodlands office (led by the leadership of Mr. Corey Meza), quickly took ownership to help get the drive test completed, in which he passed. This would not have been able to be accomplished without Mr. Meza’s involvement. He was able to take ownership and champion the task to resolution. Double kudos for a job well done.

Fantastic experience: This is the place to go! Lisa went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed to get my daughter’s license. Top notch customer service and a system in place to make getting a license as simple as possible. Go here! It’s worth the cost!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with SafeWay Driving in Grogan's Mill, their service is excellent. I was on a tight schedule to pass my drivers test and and on short notice the team at Grogran's Mill was able to make it happen. Lessons are thorough and give you what you need to be able to do well on your test. Big thank you to Corey and Felipe.
