Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club

Fantastic experience: Attended as part of the Cadillac V Performance Academy where I received 2 days of instruction including track laps (on the very small north course which I think was 1.5 miles?) and various training activities on the skid pad. I did stay in an on track condo and enjoyed drinks and dinner at the club house. The condo was very well furnished much like a small efficiency apartment with a balcony overlooking one of the many tracks. This facility has over 9 miles of track that can be configured in many different ways and during the 2 days I was on-site 4 different classes were being run as they divided the 9 miles of track among these classes. I can't give the normal review about track facilities as I wasn't doing a motorcycle race or track day and so I didn't have any free rein to explore. I will say that the track surface on the small track that I was running seemed to be good apart from some tar/repair work in 1 corner. As I was in a car rather than a race bike I didn't find the repair work to compromise handling. There is another building that has 6 pretty decent simulators setup basically for E Racing running Assetto Corsa that were pretty fun to try out lapping on the main course since I wasn't able to run the main course during my time here. Overall I'd summarize by saying this is a very, very nice track with a price tag and out-of-reach factor to match. I REALLY love the track but I don't see myself ever getting a track day here! That said, the instructor schools here are excellent and are a reasonable way to get a taste of what this track has to offer and would recommend to never pass at an opportunity to get on track here

Fantastic experience: Stayed on premises for one of the Corvette driving schools. Had a wonderful experience! The condos were well-maintained. All the tracks were clearly taken care of. The amenities were clean and orderly. Location was beautiful, from the mountains, to the campus grounds. I can see why people have their vacation homes here. They do a wonderful job!

Negative experience: La calificacion que le doy a este resort es de 0 en cuanto a la reservacion, viajamos desde Atlanta para que mi Esposo tomara clases y nos hospedaramos en este resort. Sin embargo despues de volar 3 y 15 minutos, alquilar un carro y viajar por una hora hasta el, le envian un email a mi esposo diciendo que el hospdedaje no era en el resort sino en un Holliday. Al communicarse mi esposo y hacer el reclamo. Le informan que el resort esta full y por eso nos acomodaron alli. Está reservacion se habia realizado desde el mes de Octubre. Asi que no hay respeto ni es real lo que ofrecen en linea.

Fantastic experience: Very very cool track and overall development for track car enthusiasts! Beautiful scenery and even much more beautiful sunsets! Highly recommend a visit if you have a car you want to track. All very nice people that work there and they also have a Corvette and Cadillac V racing/driving school right on property.

Fantastic experience: Do you ever see a business with so many 5 star reviews you get a little suspicious? Spring Mountain had my spidey sense tingling when they had next to no negative reviews (the only ones left by the same couple). But from the moment we walked through the door they were exceptional. The facilities were immaculate, the staff friendly and the food was good. The race instructors were so passionate and wanted to see their students do better. My wife shaved 40 seconds off her lap time in 2 days under their guidance. Honestly couldn’t recommend the place enough and it was a great family experience.

Positive experience: I was here as a guest for the Cadillac driving academy, first off the teachers were awesome very knowledgeable! The track was very large and had lots of different variations. The only issue I had was the guests were definitely second fiddle it was hard to try to go do anything besides our ride alongs. Didn't get a notice as to watching them practice on the test course that was mentioned at the start. If you buy a blackwing or a Corvette I would highly recommend you do the course.

Fantastic experience: I participated in the Corvette Driver's 2 day School, and had one of the best times in my life! The track is very challenging, and the leadership and instructors are great as well! JJ did a great job guiding us through our time there, and Vinny was one of my favorite instructors. I'm definitely planning on attending additional classes there in the future!

Fantastic experience: Visited in August 2023 for the Cadillac V-Performance Academy. The hospitality at this resort is impeccable. The food was delicious! The staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful. The campus is meticulously maintained. Just an hour or so outside of Las Vegas. Plan to visit if you’re in the area.

Fantastic experience: Professional racetrack in my backyard! This facility is the real deal with several professional challenging courses. Private garages available, clubhouse and membership available. If you want to race a course, not just demo, this is your must do when you come to the Vegas area.

Fantastic experience: I did the V academy this past mon/tue and it was an incredible experience. It came with my blackwing, but Id say its well worth the cost if you are curious about driving on a track. The instructors were amazingly helpful at giving constructive criticism in an articulate manner while driving in front of you at speed. It was amazing going into a corner at 120mph, slamming on the brakes, downshifting a gear, turning into a corner, getting on the gas slightly too early, making the backend step out very slightly and hearing the instructor in front of me, telling me at that exact moment my line was good, but I hit the gas too early. That is a very specific skill to be able to lead someone at whatever pace they are comfortable with while giving them critiques. The amenities of the club were nice, breakfast and lunch, which were included were great. All the staff were great. My rental had a slow leak in one of the tires and the mechanics that maintain all the cars even filled my tire for me a few times.

Fantastic experience: Amazing facility with top-notch instructors. Did the Cadillac school and left knowing more about the car and better understanding of car control. Condos are spacious, clubhouse food is tasty, facility clean and again - the staff is superb. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: 1st time doing a performance driving school of any kind without owning a corvette.. Fantastic experience! Had no idea it existed.. Instructors were wonderful and very thorough for beginners and gave a good amt of track time in various setups and exercises.. Facility for residence, dining etc are also very well provided! Would highly recommend.. Especially to owners but also complete beginners to really know how to drive a car that is capable of such performance.

I can honestly say I have never had so much fun learning so much-about anything. A TON of track time. A TON of instruction.Most importantly. the instructors are dedicated to giving you the BEST experience. Everyone was affable, helpful, and cheerful. I can't wait to go back. And I live in Atlanta!!

Fantastic experience: Had the awesome privilege to attend the Ron Fellows performance school recently. What an amazing experience! When you come, inquire about the on-site condo rentals, which sell out quickly. The class instruction was perfectly balanced with real world application and practice out on the pad or on the track. The instructors are also amazing! At some point in your experience in the school, you realize your instructors are not only out-driving you, but they’re doing it with a car-to-car radio in one hand while looking in the rear view mirror at the same time! Great facility, great school, great food, great accommodations, great experience at Spring Mountain! I will be back for the next level class, soon!

Fantastic experience: I came here for Corvette Owners School, and it was an amazing experience! The facilities are top notch and very clean. The staff was over the top helpful and friendly! The cars are very well taken care of to keep your experience going without issue. They even changed out the car I was using to match the color of my actual C7 so that I could take my experience to the next level and fell like I was actually driving my car on the courses!!! The food was fresh and tasty, and the gift shop had everything I need to top off and cap the experience. The professional photographer they use was so good I got a photo made from the awesome on track shots they captured! Worth every cent for this experience. I hope to enjoy again in the future.

Fantastic experience: This is a great track, my husband loves running his car here! They have multiple configurations of tracks and can usually run two different events at the same time. The facilities are very beautiful and top notch!

Fantastic experience: Outstanding facility

Fantastic experience: Absolutely stunning tragic with gorgeous views. Get out of the city and get out here to unleash some rage through the tires. The hills come alive on track days. I requested a CTS-V coupe on my visit through Cadillac, as they have a relationship with Spring Mountain and they had one ready to go for the entire day and even let me take a CTS-V wagon out on the skidpan for some fun. Great experience.

The instructors are awesome and professional and never make you feel like something less; they are encouraging and there for one reason, to help you understand how to drive and how to love driving your Corvette. You will not regret taking the class. And if you want to bring your significant other be sure to have him/her do the track with a professional, it is awesome. And, your significant other can hang out, take pictures, and in some locations take video of you driving, really great memories.

Fantastic experience: This place is so well thought out, I don't know where to begin. The booking was made easy by excellent staff. The condo we stayed in has every amenity you could ever need. Everything everywhere is super clean. The club house has amazing food, and long hours to accommodate you. The tracks are very well maintained and thought out. The instructors are amazing. They know how to articulate the instructions in a way everyone understands. They make the learning experience and driving experience fun, safe, and you pick up a lot. If you think your one of those drivers that's better than everyone else, come ride here for a class, you quickly learn your not. But in a fun way. I went thought the C8 Corvette school. I brought a guest. They did everything the could to include the guest where they could. Now onto the rain. DO BE AFRAID OF A RAIN DATE. I was worried when I saw the weather forecast. Let me tell you driving in the rain on the track taught me more that I ever knew it could. We had a dry day and a wet day. That was the best thing that could have happened. A special thanks to Chris Smith, Matt Cline and Payton for keeping my son busy where they could. Awesome experience.

Fantastic experience: I consider this to be my home track, for motorcycle trackdays. I e been riding here for 20 years, before it became the country club it is now. I just had a glorious time with TrackXperience at the east track at the end of March , 2021. I cant wait until we ride on the north track, later this year. The north track is my favorite , hands down. I love this place, nothing but great times and good lap times.

Fantastic experience: I visit SMMR about 4 times a year with the Las Vegas Porsche club. It is professionally run and our track days are always fun. The recent repaving of parts of the main track make it even more enjoyable. Bathrooms and conference rooms are always clean.

I knew the car pretty well before the event and still learned more. Highly recommend this for anyone interested in it! Accommodations and everything were top quality!

Fantastic experience: OH MY GOSH!! It was AWESOME!!! WE came for the weekend to watch our son in Radical Races. The condos are fabulous! Lots of room and balconies to view the racing. The staff.......AMAZING !!! The staff at the Club were so nice and courteous and then the PIT CREW..... SO SO KIND!!! I was able to take a lap in the car!! They were SO HELPFUL and assisted so willingly!!! THANKS so much for making this experience a POSITIVE ONE!!!! We WILL be back!!!

Fantastic experience: If you even considering it, do it! You won't regret it! I just finished the Class 1 Corvette school (first class with the C8 midengine 'vette) and I couldn't be happier with the money spent. It was literally worth every penny spent. The instructors were patient, kind and respectful recognizing not everyone had the same skill level, but treated us as though we did. We walked out each day feeling like superstars. There was far more seat time behind the wheel than I expected and they do an amazing job making you feel confident behind the wheel. I can't say enough how thrilled I am with this course. Again, if you're considering it, pull the trigger, you won't regret it!!!
