Negative experience: Based on my experience driving near their students, they’re not being properly educated in road safety. They frequently use Park Pointe and nearby neighborhoods as live road training which would be fine if they were actually being safe. Of course the first few times someone drives they’re going to be slow, that’s normal and expected on closed courses or parking lots. But students shouldn’t be driving 5mph in a 30mph zone or 15mph in a 55mph zone on live roads. Driving way too slow is just as dangerous as driving too fast. Students are inconsistent in using turn signals. Most of the time don’t come to complete stops, doing a rolling stop or stopping far beyond the stop sign, stop light, or road line. It doesn’t appear the school is using vehicles properly modified for driving school purposes with a duplicate set of override controls in the passenger seat, though I’ve never actually gotten out and looked closely so that may be incorrect, though from a casual distance they appear to be just regular cars with stickers on the back and sides. Finally, I’ve seen the teachers (presumably) driving their cars around without passengers and they themselves are unsafe. I’ve been cut off on highway 6, they speed, and frequently I’ve seen them on their phones. Even if it’s not the teachers and they’re allowing another household member to use their car, it doesn’t bode well that their household won’t listen to them, how well will a student?

Fantastic experience: My experience with them in learning to drive was very enjoyable. They are punctual, give instructions for success, and help with training procedures. As for the trainer, she is very friendly and comfortable to deal with. She gives instructions calmly and is committed to the lesson time. I wish them success. Because of the excellent training, I passed the test from the first time and I am very happy with this result.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my driving lessons with the Sugarland driving school and I am happy with the experience. The front desk person was very professional and helpful in scheduling the appointments. Ms Moana, the instructor was absolutely fantastic. She was kind and made me feel confident with the driving, she even helped me with the parking and lane changing when I asked for multiple times. Highly recommend the driving school.

Negative experience: DO NOT COME HERE it is very unprofessional, I should have read the reviews. If you are an adult you have to pay $100 (wether you use your car or theirs, same price no discount) and if you fail the try again fee is $50, they just want your money. During the test the old man was so mean and whenever he gave directions he would mumble, he will get mad at you for the smallest things and take so many points off. He failed me and was very quick to say “just come again and I might just pass you”. Of course I DID NOT, I went to a different driving school exactly the next day and passed that test. Don’t make the same mistake I did, choose a different driving school and check the reviews!

Negative experience: One of the worst customer service that i have seen in my life, they are not serious,they are scammers and greedy ,they fail you in purpose so they get extra money from you.

Negative experience: Worst driving school and unprofessional instructors they have no other job than yelling for no reason at all, I went there to learn how to drive for first time but they expect you to drive perfectly if not they can be really rude to you, unprofessional behavior during driving sessions such as yanking your hand out off steering wheel, instead of teaching they will just give you instructions that first time driver won’t understand and if you do something tiny but wrong they won’t hesitate to yell at like you did something really bad to them, worst experience I ever had, And the instructor embarrassed me after my 3rd sessions in front of other customers and staff by yelling and stuff.

Negative experience: Never go if you want to give drive test, Lady has taken test, and simple failed me without any explanation or reason. They continue interrupt you while driving. Their driving route is not good, it is full crowded with road side parking all over. Better go to DMV and get license

Negative experience: I wish I could leave a good review because I had multiple driving sessions and had a good experience with Ms.Mona. However during my last session, the instructor Walter was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had never received such poor service. He was yelling, pointing his finger at my face, and was angry the whole driving session. He was not helpful whatsoever, and it’s disappointing for this establishment to hire such an unprofessional man to instruct students. I have never felt so disrespected when I am PAYING for a service, and I will not be recommending this place to anyone unfortunately for the sole reason of my experience with this instructor.

Negative experience: If I could rate 0 I would ... they never answer the phone.they are racist if you don't speak arabic they treat you different, and if you come late for any reason you loose your time.. . Good luck going here if you don't know the owners basically its over for your. My kid is middle eastern and I thought he would be treated right here but he is not. We can't even get his last 2 lessons done because they keep playing us and not answering the phone. It's crazy how they show favorites with people who are not of color. I want my money back and I want them to know we See what they are doing.

Staff there is exceptionally friendly and helpful, (shout out to Aurora) going beyond the call of duty in getting me driving lessons that fit my work schedule And the cheapest ( I called around) Coach Grant was my lessons instructor, I could not ask for a better human. His kindness, patience, and positive energy calmed my nerves so very easily, I learned so many new and safe driving techniques. I had my road test today with Coach Dennis, struck goal again, such a lovely lady, it did not feel like a "test". Thanks so much you guys, I made the best choice in choosing you...

Fantastic experience: Just when everyone else had given up on my "Driving" ambitions and I was almost labelled as untrainable to drive, Ali Jafri of Sugar Land Driving School took up the challenge. In his almost prophetic patient style, he designed a course of training that was suited to my schedule and especial needs as a "ripe" aged learner. He had simple and practical instructions, leading up to realistic goals. He gave me space to express my reservations as an adult learner and showed empathy towards my limitations. I cannot recommend his services enough to anyone and everyone who wants to learn to drive. The staff at Sugar Land driving School were super supportive and polite. Yes the most distinctive quality of this place is the polite service you get. They are great people!!

Fantastic experience: My son took his road test here and the whole experience was super pleasant. He tested with Carolyn Dennis and she is FABULOUS. She greeted us with smiles and really knows how to put an already nervous teenager at ease in what is already a stressful situation. I couldn't recommend this place enough. From scheduling the appointment to the instructions with the paperwork for the DMV, they were very thorough and professional. Not to mention--super friendly. An enthusiastic 5 stars all around.

Negative experience: Rude and unprofessional front desk services. I paid for my teen the whole package of $400 in advance. He finished writing test. then they never called for any road driving. I had to call in many times, each time they said to call back on Friday to make appointment for following week. which i did and never got any dates. when 6 months expired they never called either. so basically they never taught our son any road driving and they would not give money back. they asked me to pay more if my son would continue to learn. what the.... They cant take my money and not provide any driving time to my teen. cant work that way. I will contact Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for this matter. Please stay away from this place. or do not pay in advance or pay in contact until you get service first.

Fantastic experience: I visited the school to learn to drive and take the exam, and they were very helpful and wonderful. Ms. Mona helped me learn, and Mr. Amin took my test, and finally I got my driver's license. Thank you very much

Negative experience: Don't come here. I was going to put a long review on why not to come here but my wife asked me not to. She was a student here. So I will just say not to come here. Go elsewhere. I will send my complaints to DPS instead. I am still very angry about our treatment here. If you complain, they will threaten to call the police like you are a criminal. FYI, they are the ones to illegally pass you and tell you what to answer on the written test. Also, they did pass my wife but after insulting her in front of everyone. Again, if you have any self-respect, do not come here.

Negative experience: This place has no idea what they are talking about. My 20 year old son went with an adult permit and they argued with him about the classes he had taken. He went to the DPS with the same paperwork and had no problems taking the driving test. They pretty much called him a liar both times he went. Will never use this place!

Negative experience: Service is terrible. Rude front desk workers. Once they know you have bought their services they start treating you poorly. Extremely hard to make appointments and you spend way longer than necessary finishing lessons because they don’t give any appointments or answer the phone. Front desk workers seem to not like their job and owner is rude especially if you are a teen trying to make your own appointments. Lack of respect to the people paying him.

Negative experience: Horrible service. They never pick up the phone when you need to make appointments, they give wrong times for appointments and are so so rude. The staff is incredibly rude and don't take criticism well. My daughter's instructor ended the class 10 minutes early and she complained about it and they were extremely rude to her. She should get all the time we paid for. I would not recommend 0/10. For rescheduling they don't call you 24 hours before but will call the same day because it's convenient for them. I can't stress enough how rude they are. Especially the people at the front desk.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this school! I took their teen driving class and got my permit and then continued to get my license. Their staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They were always very accommodating when I needed to reschedule for any conflicts but you do need to let them know ahead of time. My family was very busy so they did not have the time to teach me so we ended up going through this school and they were definitely worth it. If you decide to use their school, I highly recommend Ms. Mona as an instructor she was very patient, informative and friendly.

She’s kind and patient and helped me gain a lot of knowledge and confidence on the road. Mona knows all the roads and rules and she makes sure to educate her students with the do’s and dont’s of driving around Houston and the neighbouring areas. She’s a confident and encouraging instructor with a lot of experience and knowledge. I felt very safe driving with this school and particularly Mona. All this helped me pass my road test at the school. It’s wonderful to have a place to go to like this to get help and support for an important thing like driving. Their service is also professional and they have been around for many years. Overall wonderful experience. I recommend booking classes with Mona she’s an absolutely fantastic instructor! One thing to keep in mind is we need to be present, stay alert and make sure we follow her guidance throughout while driving. There’s work on our part too! :) Thanks to Mona and the staff there, I now have my license and I am a confident driver!

Fantastic experience: The teacher at this school has great analogies which helps us students with driving even though we have not driven on the road yet, thats how good he is. I have also noticed that he is very educated on the body systems and how different types of car accidents can effect you when in collisions. Also gave examples ( photos, videos, etc..), very educated person. All in all i recomend this school... more like the person who was teaching this day of March 23, 21.

The guy at the front desk is really knowledgeable and respectful. I am looking forward to go there for my other kids when they would be ready for their road test.

Negative experience: I just want it to be known that I’ve already tried all avenues of resolving this issue before I even thought of posting this review online. I’m not the one to complain nor take time to post or file a complaint but I feel that this time I need to because of what I’ve gone through with these people. The first issue is, does anyone not have a problem with only being able to call once a week to schedule a drive time or is it just me, because this can lead to a lot of issues and conflict along the way. My son had the same problem 3 years ago which led to him paying an extension fee because it’s a nightmare to try to get a drive time schedule. Now, i was fooled again, this time thinking that they might have changed their unfair business practice with all the bad reviews they were getting , but unfortunately it’s still the same and now they’re using COVID as an excuse. The recent COVID situation does not have anything to do with how you’re scheduling your drive time because this has been going on since even before the pandemic. I was able to get my sons”s permit this October due to the DPS only allowing online appointment. He took the classroom part of the lesson last June even with COVID, and now we are almost at the end of 6 mos and we’ve only been able to schedule 3 appointments since October and the last one did not even count because he forgot his permit and they would not let him drive that time instead they allowed him in the car as an observer. They have a copy of his permit in their office so I don’t get why they won’t allow him to drive but the worst part is that because he didn’t drive he’s being charged with $40 and unless he pays it they refuse to schedule him for another driving lesson. I tried to reason with them and as you probably can imagine this is incredibly frustrating on my end and then they turn it on you and say that you’re the one that’s rude and cut the phone on you. I called the police hotline in sugarland to try to intervene because of how unreasonable these people are. I’ve already paid $400 for the whole course, shouldn’t I be allowed to at least complete the whole 14 hours of instruction since I already paid for it ? If in case, there are outstanding fees then they can charge it and we should have the option to pay for it at the end of the course. At the end of the day it’s all about money , they are using these delaying tactucs in order for you to extend so they can charge you for the extension. These are very unethical, unfair customer tactics and is subject to bias and prejudices to certain customers. I also feel a current of gender discrimination here that because I’m a woman, what I say can be dismissed and I can be labeled as rude or emotional and I can be yelled at and be made to feel as helpless and powerless to do anything. I have filed a complaint against this business twice with the Better Business Bureau, the first one the business responded and gave COVID as an excuse. The second one has no response. Now I’ve filed a complaint against the local consumer protection office (attorney general office of Ken Paxton) and also forwarded a complaint to the Texas Deoartment Of Licensing and Regulation, Driver Education Safety. I’m still awaiting both of these offices for a response having just filed it recently. I would encourage anyone who have experienced any kind of horrible unfair service practice from this business to do the same. They are not BBB accredited by the way so they don’t have to answer or do anything about your complaint but it would be better if it’s in the record. They cannot continue doing this and they need to have accountability for their bad business practice.

Negative experience: Such a scam. Do not waste your time and money. They cheated my daughter out of $100. Go to the DMV instead. I want to give them zero stars, but I wouldn't have been able to post this otherwise.

Negative experience: Poor communication, they confuse young people to spend more money, and they make young women uncomfortable by trying to look under their shirt. I do not recommend this place especially if you're a female do not go.

Fantastic experience: Quick and easy test. It was my first experience with them and I absolutely loved it. I was able to pass my test in the first try and I didn’t have to go through any troubles. The team is very professional and knows what they’re doing. It’s worth the money :)

Positive experience: I really like how quickly I was able to take my road test. The driving instructor Mona was the best. She taught me to parallel park perfectly in less than 2 hours, as well as helped me perfect my driving for the test in that time. I truly would not have been able to pass if not for her. Even during COVID-19, the school did their best to ensure a good learning environment. I felt really prepared for the test and I passed with flying colors.

Positive experience: It is well worth the money. Great teachers and good service. Edit..* They did put my son in a wrong class, he's 16 they put him in an adult class knowing his age. Got to dps, couldn't use the certificate because of that, this place said "ohh it's our fault", but you'll have to pay 200 more dollars on top of the 200 you already paid and we will only discount 50 dollars. This was a huge inconvenience to me that they can make such a huge mistake. And here I was giving 5 stars. Hmmm. And they didn't want to answer my 16 year old sons question. Their answer was , "I explained it in class" not very professional and I am sorry I had to edit this review and give a lesser rating .

Positive experience: My son took the teen course here last summer and enjoyed the in house classes and the driving lessons they gave him. He plays sports so even when he missed a week of class he was able to make them up with no problem At all!! He still had to do 30 hours of drive time with me but By that time they had already taught him all the basics of driving. When it was time to do drive time at the school, I really liked that he could set up his own drive time when he was available to drive. They taught him how to parallel park perfectly, check his mirrors, and to leave enough room when you change lanes, and he passed his drivers test! I loved how convenient this school tries to be with its customers/ students. Everyone is super friendly and tries so hard to help however they can. I would definitely recommend this school for new drivers who are looking to get their permit and license.

Fair price for a road test and they gave me a car(that handles very nice) to do the road test in. The road tester was extremely nice and instantly put me at ease.

Negative experience: The unprofessionalism is surreal here. The lack of respect within the staff and instructors is just uncanny. No one should come here unless they are looking for their child to be yelled at while driving instead of being taught calmly. When you pay someone you want to have proper service and this place wastes time. I personally paid $350 for Private Lessons and am told to be there 5-10 minutes prior the scheduled time now, once I get there 10-15 minutes of my time is wasted on top of me getting there prior to the appointment. Example: appointment is at 2. I get there by 1:50, we don’t leave until 2:10. That’s 10 minutes of my appointment wasted not only that about another 10 minutes. As you can see they have no decency to be puntual. I suggest that if you are looking to put your child in this horrendous driving school, you rethink your desicon. For my drive times except for the first one I was assigned Jafri and he is arrogant, rude and disrespectful. One day he walked in 3 minutes late, ate a sandwich and was on his phone for 5 minutes. He doesn’t teach you how to drive he demands you to know prior. Since it’s winter break I scheduled my classes back to back, now I am aware that I should practice in between since an hour isn’t enough, but the instructor should have no business in yelling at me every single minute when taking a turn or changing lanes that I should’ve practiced. The level of unprofessionalism is just surreal.
