Easy Method Driving School

Negative experience: didn’t even call to tell us the driver resigned so we waited and had to call to be told the driver resigned. woman who answered the phone was BEYOND rude. it’s courtesy to call a customer and let a customer know the appointment isn’t happening. The woman was EXTREMELY rude on the phone! will NOT be coming here. terrible customer service. Oh and also when they reply to reviews they try and minimize ur complaints instead of apologizing. as you can see if you click they try to blame you. so when i see a reply trying to make it seem like i was an issue when me and my mother were respectful on the phone and confused and frustrated, i know they do this to everyone who leaves a bad review. TERRIBLE PLACE!! DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY!

Negative experience: They gave us paperwork to say that the class was completed. After passing the road test then Easy Method says oh our mistake you didn’t complete the course. You still need 1 hour. Easy Method never contacted us about not completing. Easy Method on Center St is a joke and very unprofessional.

Negative experience: Worst driving program ever I would not recommend them to anyone I know. Mr. Davis is a good instructor per my child, but the staff when you call the number is unprofessional and rude. If I could’ve posted this without having to select a star I would have. I will say that the site manager Ms. Deborah is nice and I did speak with her after the call I had with the rude young lady, she was able to help me and assist with the situation so I greatly appreciate her for that.

Negative experience: Payed for lessons the first time and wasn’t taught much just put in the car to just drive and the people who pick up the phone are rude as heck!!

Negative experience: Inscribimos a mi hija para que iniciara sus clases de manejo,y pagamos todo el curso por adelantado,las primeras clases fueron aceptables pero después empezaron a cancelar sus citas..así pasó un año o más y hasta ahora no le han dado ninguna clase y mi hija no ha terminado si curso ..nosotros pagamos extra para que vinieran y la recogieran de mi casa y ahora dicen que no tienen personal suficiente para venir a continuar sus clases ..la recepcionista fue muy grosera y agresiva cuando trate de arreglar la situación,incluso me amenazo con quitarle el permiso de manejo a mi hija..los reportaré a DMV ..No pierdas tu tiempo no tú dinero..no te inscribas en esta escuela y pases por tan mala experiencia

Negative experience: I brought my son in there to sign up for driving lessons. The girl at the counter was pleasant and suggested we sign up for one class and then the instructor could advise us as to what package was necessary. I paid using my Apple Card (screenshot to follow) my son had his first “lesson” and came back less than happy. He described his experience and I advised him to call and complain, which he did right away. He said something about payment to me and I asked if it was for next lesson? Which I was not going to pay until we got a response concerning that first awful lesson. In their replies to my son’s review they claim to have left VM messages to me. They may have called, I don’t know, they certainly did not leave any messages. I am attaching screenshots of voicemail and deleted voicemails. The fact that you respond to negative posts blaming the customer is deplorable and only highlights your lack of professionalism! I will shout from rooftops DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS “BUSINESS” Edit I have taken down the screenshots of my VM’s as I feel my point was clearly made and proven

Negative experience: When I first came to Easy Method in person, I had high hopes. The front desk lady was very kind and was great at explaining how the lessons would work. She gave me multiple options for lessons and helped me pick the best choice for my needs. I ended up going with a single lesson that would be more like a consultation, where the instructor would teach me and tell me if they thought I needed more lessons based on my driving and skillset. I was also able to prepay in person, but that’s about where this level of professionalism ends. The day of my lesson rolls around, and my instructor does not even introduce himself to me. He asks me my experience, which is very limited (think parking lots and quiet residential streets), and immediately has me start driving on normal streets. I was super nervous at this, and my stress was not at all being aided by his behavior. Firstly, he had music playing on the radio, which was extremely distracting. Also, he kept watching videos of singing super loudly on his iPad! Not to mention he took a call as well. Whenever I made mistakes because I had basically NO IDEA whay I was doing, he’d immediately correct them, but not explain what my mistake was or how I could fix it. At one point, I nearly could have caused an accident in a four way intersection, and he said and did nothing. At the end of the lesson where I was supposed to hear his opinion on if I need more lessons, he only asked if I wanted another one, so I hesitantly agreed and he left without another word. I thought I was supposed to be learning how to drive at a dirving school, but I guess not! I was SO disappointed in the lack of professionalism, so I called Easy Method about half an hour after he left to complain. They told me the manager was out of town and that I would receive a call back about my complaint within three days. Well, I did not receive a call back about my complaint, but I did receive a call claiming I did not pay for my lesson when I did the first day I went in person! During this call I brought up my complaint again, and was quickly redirected back to the claim that I did not pay. I was hoping the lack of competence was a one time thing, so during this call I also asked to be switched to a different instructor, which they agreed to do. I woke up this morning early to get ready for my lesson which was supposed to start at 10, and began to wait. Five minutes of waiting turned to ten, to twenty, to HALF AN HOUR with no word. I have not received any calls stating that my instructor is running late. In case they try to say I didn’t pay for my second lesson, it was said NOWHERE on the call that I had to prepay. Overall, I highly discourage ANYONE looking for driving lessons from choosing Easy Method. Their lack of professionalism has been proven to be reoccurring, and it seems the only thing they care about is stealing your money for unprofessional or no-show instructors. I will NOT be returning. EDIT: I see you’ve responded to my review, and respectfully, I’ve looked at other negative reviews and noticed a common pattern. How can every single one of your bad reviews be lies as you claim in your responses? You seem to have an awful lot of excuses for everything negative said about your company. Your ability to lie so easily is DISGUSTING. Also, it’s very interesting how you choose not to comment on the behavior of your instructor. I have proof of payment, and my mother has proof that she did not receive any calls from you when I told you to contact her. You will be seeing this information posted elsewhere :) EDIT: Proof was provided, both of payment, and your lie regarding leaving a voicemail (as seen in my mother’s review.) And you’re correct, I never asked to speak with a manager. I called to complain and was TOLD by whoever was manning the phones that I would be called back within three days to speak about the incident. Have fun continuing to dig yourself into a deeper hole—it doesn’t look very good on your end. EDIT: They removed their response to my review to make themselves look better!

Fantastic experience: *UPDATE 10/21* I passed my driver's test!! Thank you I took the 10 hour adult driving lessons here and having Mr. Nash as a instructor was truly an amazing experience. Not only is he super helpful but he helped a lot with my driving anxiety. Thank you for providing such amazing services here.

Negative experience: These ppl scam me out a deposit for my son to do behind the wheel. He never step foot inside the building, they never provided ANY services. He took drivers Ed in another state. Wisconsin transfered his outta town permit to Wisconsin to allow him to practice driving in Milwaukee. I’m assuming they wanted us to pay them for drivers Ed even tho Wi already issued him a learners permit and when I wasn’t about to make him do drivers Ed AGAIN, they refused to give me my deposit. Do NOT PAY THEM!! DONT EVEN GO THERE. Imagine being scammed in todays climate like folks just got extra $100 laying around. I’m disgusted the state approved him to use his learners permit but I guess they wanted the whole class and behind the wheel payment.

Negative experience: The customer service from this company is TERRIBLE. They were rude when my husband and I called asking clarifying questions, claimed the manager was out of town for several weeks, and were extremely condescending. Thankfully the driving instructor has been much more professional than the office staff. I would recommend going elsewhere. Update: Unfortunately your reply to my review is not accurate. There was no demand for anything. We called seeking clarification about next steps given the predicament we were in. No hang up occurred, as I ended the call saying good-bye. I teresting how the owner can reply, given they are on vacation. I look forward to connecting to the owner in two weeks when they are back from vacation. Have a good day.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Vanessa. She is amazing, friendly and really tries to help. She is a good teacher and a thorough professional. Easy method is lucky to have her!

Positive experience: I had a very good experience with Easy Method, both in the classroom and car with the instructor. I would recommend Easy Method Driving School for beginners and anyone who wants an efficient and not over complicated experience when learning how to drive. They are very straight forward and easy going, my instructor, Mr. C was awesome. He helped to get me comfortable with driving, prepare me for my road test, and was just a very nice person.

Positive experience: I recently completed my final driver's lesson at Easy Method on November 30th, and I had an amazing experience, particularly during my in-person sessions with my instructor, Mr. Frederick. He's a down-to-earth guy with a calm yet enthusiastic teaching style. It's clear he genuinely cares about helping you improve as a driver. Despite having prior driving experience, observing Mr. Frederick as he taught other students highlighted his patience and communication skills, especially when students made mistakes. He never seemed stressed and always allowed ample time for learning and correction. What I think sets him apart is his engaging teaching approach which I haven't heard of or seen before. He shares entertaining stories, encourages conversations, and isn't overly strict. If you're his student, count yourself fortunate. I wanted to share this review to reassure others that having someone like Mr. Frederick as an instructor means you literally have nothing to worry about just focus on what he says and enjoy your time with him like I did, I look forward to getting my drivers license and I'm grateful i got to enjoy this journey. Negative experience: Book at your own risk, matter fact don’t schedule an appointment with them at all if you wanna save time and money. They love to cancel and call in the day of the road test in short notice. You will get fees from the dmv for those cancellations and no they do not cover them(the one on center st). I would recommend arcade driving school, and Mr.T is a good instructor there. (Telling a lie and saying that I booked without payments can get you sued; as said above I booked a road test with you guys 3times and you cancelled 2-3 hrs before each time….do better)

Negative experience: If you want to schedule for practicing go ahead, that will be the only time they don’t cancel and call in sick on you. I scheduled a road test with easy method on center 3 times, and each time that person “called in sick” 1-3 hours before. Yes you will have to pay the DMV cancellation fees and no they do not cover that for you. Book at your own risk!!!

Negative experience: Terrible scheduling and management, airtight when it comes to taking more of your money, however, for being any more than a couple of minutes late. “Behind-the-wheel” driving accompanies an hour of “observation” during the 2 hours period, which consists of little actual “observation” (what is one to learn from other amateur drivers). They’ll make sure to charge you even more at any given opportunities.

Fantastic experience: Ms Smith was kind and patient. My daughter looked forward to her driving lessons. Deborah in the office was very kind and helpful. The process took an entire year, so plan accordingly! Over all very positive experience!

Fantastic experience: This is where I graduated from and received my drivers permit. The course was nice setting too.

Negative experience: I have had a terrible experience with easy method. They are completely inflexible. The online class was very difficult for my son, so I requested to switch him to the hybrid class. Without any consideration we were told no. We chose to switch to arcade, so that he could complete part of the class in person and get his permit before completing the additional 20 hours online. I requested a refund from easy method for the behind the wheel portion we won’t use, and were denied. I also asked to transfer to someone else who can use it. They won’t allow that either. Clearly, easy method only cares about the fees they collect. Our experience with Arcade has been great!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with the instruction my Adult Son received from them. He has Anxiety issues and was having trouble learning. After already trying a different company with little improvement he improved dramatically once he started his lessons here. He had the same instructor every time and Mr. Kinas was very experienced and great for him. He passed his test on his first try. Would Highly Recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’m a student of Mr Davis he makes the classroom funny I seen this negative post about him which has to be somebody who is acting out of anger . Because he tells us not to write on the paper or we will have to write 4 pages . So this person must be slow because mr Davis explains everything to all the students before we do anything . I’m glad he is my instructor he is the best instructor .

Negative experience: I am a teacher and several of my students have taken driving classes here. They all had Mr. Davis as a driving instructor and listed the following comments: - Mr. Davis often comments on their bodies -Mr. Davis talks about their makeup/clothing/piercings -Mr. Davis talks about who they are dating and asks if students in the car with him are going to get together -Mr. Davis FORCES his students to fill out reviews online in a positive manner. Which... is obvious if you read the other reviews on google. -Mr. Davis degrades and humiliates his students Again, I don't have personal experience with these things, but I have heard enough that I would NOT trust Mr. Davis with my teenage son, and ESPECIALLY not my daughter. If you do have to have him as an instructor, make sure to record each session so you have evidence of everything that happens.

Negative experience: Took my daughter to easy method driving school on Hampton and I can say strongly that there staff is unorganized and highly inappropriate mr Davis an driving instructor was my daughters driving school teacher. the conversations that were happening in the car were highly inappropriate to the point that he’s making my child say she loves him as a teacher and giving students seneros and asking what they would do this is jus highly inappropriate, and for my daughter to come home and tell me that he’s making funny remarks with her piercings and how she decides to present herself is just wrong . Not only is he trying to have cool conversations and fit in with the kids but is asking/making his students right good reviews on him under the website this is not okay! think about all of this before registering your child at the Hampton location!!!!

Fantastic experience: So I started off at arcade from ms.p we did a lot of fun driving taking her to get food like Culver’s on the south side All types of thing so I took my road test and failed 2 and started with easy method and went to the goat him self mr.Davis he stays on you works with you and help you understand the right way to drive he the goat and should be showing and helping Techer like ms.p who olny like to eat the right way to teach us students

Negative experience: Registered my son for a private lesson prior to his road test. Appointments were cancelled due to lack of instructors. Saving grace is they were not paid for before hand. Office staff are rude and unprofessional

Negative experience: They cancelled my first apointment, and did not even show or bother to tell me the rescheduled first appointment was also cancelled. Im so happy I did not pay ahead of time, or It would have been a waste of money.

Fantastic experience: Even though i had to change instructors due to different teaching methods i eventually met Mr.Tarver. Mr.Tarver is an excellent teacher he’s very kind, understanding with new drivers, as well as patient. With Mr. Tarver’s help i passed my driving test with flying colors. I highly recommend to have HIM as a teacher. He helped me build the confidence I didn’t think i had.

Negative experience: Over the phone, prior to sign up, I was told masks were required. When I arrived about half the staff were wearing them and none of the students.

Negative experience: This was my first time driving on the street the instructor was horrible got mad when I made mistakes instead of just telling me kind of just threw me out there very rude no patience at all his name was MR. Chenault I hope you guys never get him !!

Not only did they teacher her how to drive and now she has more confidence and is now more relaxed and not so nervous. I recommend everyone to use easy method driving school.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional instructor. Made it clear to them that my wife had never driven a car before in her entire life. Yet when he showed up to pick her up for driving lessons, he immediately put her behind the wheel. He'll throw a big tantrum every time she made a mistake. I don't know why this individual works at a driving school if he's going to be making new drivers feel so uncomfortable and scared. I mean he was just awful. That's why we pay $54 per hour. So u can teach others how to drive. Could've done it myself but I thought if I paid $54 an hour they'll help me do a decent job. The next day he didnt even bother to show up to take her to another session. Well I decided to take her to Arcade. They charge $57 per hour but guess what? They're real professionals and teaching her all she needs to know. Who's losing now??

Fantastic experience: The class helped me gain so much knowledge about driving . I passed every test we took . I had the nicest teacher which we call him Mr.T . He was a good teacher . Choose your instructor yourself though i will say that because my instructor was very rude and had a attitude so there are more instructors to pick . But overall it’s a good driving school .

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Easy Method Driving to anyone! They’re super professional. My instructor was Mr.Chenault. He was super patient with me. Gave the best advice. I haven’t drove in over a year and I took 3 classes with him and felt like a good driver! He took me to the DMV to practice my maneuvers before the road test. And I passed my road test on the first try. So if you’re considering Easy Method. Don’t think, just do it. They’re amazing. Especially Mr.Chenault. He’s amazing!

I had scheduled my behind the wheel for Wednesday and they call me 1 hour before and tell me the instructor can’t come . Then I schedule it on Thursday and again the lady calls me 30 minutes before my actual time and says the instructor can’t come !!!! Did not like this school at all !!!

Fantastic experience: Me. Davis is the BEST instructor in the Drivers Ed program . I don’t want NOBODYYYY else to teach me how to drive. When I first started driving I was nervous , but he makes us feel as comfortable and confident as POSSIBLE to be the best defense driver on the streets . I’m sure that I’m going to pass my test ! With the extra help of THE BEST EMPLOYEE easy method has ! Make sure to go to him if u are starting to drive ! PERIOD !

Fantastic experience: Mr. C was awesome he gave me so much confidence that I could successfully pass my drivers test, which I did. This was my first attempt and I’m so glad I used easy method honestly without this I probably wouldn’t have passed my first time.
