Negative experience: This school is horrible...not organized..not enough trainers...not enough trucks..not enough time in trucks...can't work while ur in school...no pay...4 weeks turn into 2 months...u wait more than u learn...lack of remorse...etc!! But they are good at taking your money...

Negative experience: STAY AWAY!! from this school. The recruiters will fool you by working for one year for werner and then they will pay for license and if you didn't stay they will slam you with the school tution as loan with 18% interest rate. The school fee is three times what another schools are asking for so please find something else

Positive experience: I really love it, hi I am Ravi, I am in road master driving school for 5 weeks now . Place you can learn little hard more easily CDL skills . That's garentee. Instructors are very patient and give enough time to understand maneuvers. I am happy . I am about to finish my classes (CDL permit)by this month ending hopefully. Keon, crolliens Evans, malcolm, Sherman, Craig are my favorite instructors.

Negative experience: They are scammers but in a legal way. Be careful when you want to study here 1. very expensive 2. they don’t respect people. 3. They focus on peripheral things more than the main things in education.

Fantastic experience: Great instructors to start off with. Cornelius, Sherman, Greg, Anthony maurice. The instuctors are very knowledgeable and explains things in an understandable manner. They treat you as part of the family. Shout out to Cornelius, the PTI king.The couse is designed to help you become a great CDL driver and past your CDL test.

Positive experience: If I were basing this review off of just the instructors, it would be five stars. Seriously, they work hard to make sure you get taken seriously and have the best shot at graduating and deserve raises asap. However, the school itself is severely unorganized. You do a lot of waiting around, getting to go in the truck maybe once a day if you’re lucky and then back to waiting for like 30 min for someone to do the maneuver you pulled off in 10 min. Every week is a new class, and that’s okay, however every new class seems to be getting bigger and bigger. It’s insane because there was supposed to be 4 students to an instructor but I’ve seen 15 being put on one instructor. So would I recommend it, yeah, but ask how many students are on campus first.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed my training from the 1st day until I graduated. Never missed any day and just got my cdl license the 5th week. It was a nice experience. Stacey and Craig west have been so good to me and funny as well.

Negative experience: They will kick you out if you don't pass a test and they'll kick you out if you miss a day

Fantastic experience: My experience here was very good at Roadmaster. Marissa the dean is super chill but still very professional. Claudia is e very good teacher as well very professional but sturn and a little bit more old school which is good. All the instructors on the pad are great they are laid back but they do their job and are very patient with the students and they show us the manuevers very well. They do take the GI Bill which i did use. So they do get alot of veterans here and there. The overall atmosphere of this school is good. I never felt uneasy or any bad vibes. If you want to go to a truck driving school pick Roadmaster. You won’t regret it.

Negative experience: For almost 12k the school should be better. It’s really rushed and you don’t get a lot of practice doing maneuvers. A lot of people come back in for testing and they’re use up the time for the new students to practice time in the trucks. The teaching methods are all different. Mr. Sherman is great and I would recommend him to anyone. But for Cornelius the new instructor they’ve hired is absolutely terrible and will just sit there on the phone rather than being hands on and helping. I wish I would’ve did more research before selecting this school.

Negative experience: First let me just say, the trainers are doing good and the advisors are wonderful! Especially Miss Tequila!! Miss Cathy is the best as well! But the school manager, Marissa, does not have the heart for this job. She does not listen to student concerns, and it comes off as if it's just a paycheck for her. For some students who do go to her with concerns, they/we have felt as though she uses her position to retaliate against us. She does not have the best interests of the students. She is very manipulative, very very dishonest, and very narcissistic! She acts as though some of us are beneath her. I would not recommend this school as long as she's in position there. She has stressed me out so much during my time at roadmaster. I've never felt/been so overwhelmed in my life. Oh, and Claudia, the classroom instructor is terrible as well. She's very disrespectful and treats her students like they are scum on the bottom of her shoe. She is rude and she speaks to people with such disrespect. Her and Marissa are always in the school managers office with the door closed and laughing and talking. As much time as these two put into hanging out and mistreating people; the same time could be used in making sure students are being heard, understood, and respected. I could say so much more, but I will stop there.

Fantastic experience: Road Master Driving School is by far the best driving school I have ever attended. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with open arms and made to feel like part of a family. The staff at Road Master truly went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was positive and enriching. I had the pleasure of learning in the classroom with Ms. Claudia, who was an incredible instructor. Despite English not being my first language, she was patient and understanding, going out of her way to ensure that I understood the material. The atmosphere in the classroom was always supportive and encouraging, making it a joy to come to class. Overall, my time at Road Master Driving School was nothing short of amazing. I walked away with not only the skills to become a confident and safe driver but also with fond memories of the wonderful people I met along the way. I highly recommend Road Master to anyone looking to learn how to drive in a warm and welcoming environment.

Positive experience: It's been a whirlwind of ups and downs but I finished!!! Special thanks to the school and staff that helped make the journey a bit easier. The classrooms are Frigid to keep you awake but it'll all be worth it once you pass the DPS exam!! Ha ha!! Special thanks to my recruiters and staff that made for an easy transition back to school. Thanks for the kick in the butt to get it done. Definitely need more time allotted on maneuvers prior to testing out. Positive experience: Weeelllll, the school itself is OK. They can make a few changes. They are always understaffed. You barely get to learn your pre-trip and skills. Although, the pre-trip, skills, and road are easy. You just do not have more time to spend on it. Twice a day, 8 hours of being there for 5 days a week for 4 weeks max is not going to teach you anything. It's more students than instructors. The ratio is way off. The best part is that they have their own DPS examiner, which makes the process easier. They just need more instructors.

He was amazing Doc , doc is the teacher that deep inside he treats you more like a friend than a student . He was amazing , also he better hope I never line up against him because he would not win that. Fantastic experience: If you want to pass your cdl test, here is the place to. I've heared about all sorts of difficulties about getting the cdl, these guys make increrdibly easy. If you are a serious person, you will pass the test on your very first attempt. I passed on my very first attempt becuase I knew exactly why I went there. Some poeple do fial but honestly I don't think any one should fail if you go through thier program. Thanks so much road master.

Fantastic experience: This is a great, positive environment for learning in. I went into it apprehensive about everything and feeling insecure and day one all of that was gone. My class and the class ahead of us were all so so supportive and each one there to cheer you on with each new thing we had to learn like PTI and ultimately maneuvers and driving. For me personally, I utilize access I had to each and every instructor out there and I would recommend anyone do the same. They all really do want you to succeed and are willing to help you if you just ask and take what you learn and apply it. Shoutout to both Anthonys for being direct, and not holding back anything and pushing me to just do it. To Eric who taught me from the start, thanks for being kind and patient. Sherman is your man for learning adjustments going backwards and Craig is your guy for adjustments going forwards. Trey the most stoic PTI guy and knows his stuff inside and out and again super patient with me. KB thank you for being calm and centered and giving me room to relax and breathe. Also for the arm workout when you and Anthony knew I needed dedicated time to do nothing but make turns lol I didn’t hit or kiss any curbs in the end there so thank you both! Special thanks to Tommy who runs the show but always took time to listen to my issues in skills and helping me try different things to solve it. Claudia got swapped around in positions so I didn’t have her long but I want to say thanks for the pep talks and high fives when I did get to see you. Good experience over all and would recommend, it’s work and it’s on you but stay focused and keep at it is my advice.

Negative experience: Worst, most ridiculous, downright greedy school. I was told 4 to 5 weeks that's a joke. 3 weeks in, I had barely been inside a truck for 30 minutes. Supposedly, 180 hr class. look at the hrs. In the picture I am posting. If you ask Tommy the manager, he is going to tell you it is not true. Believe him or believe this photo and advice from me. When I started complaining they asked me to leave their school. Best thing is I found another school and got my C.D.L. today 1½ weeks after leaving Road disaster, look at all the students on the board with over 200 hrs also look at all the students standing around 1 truck doing nothing. That's what you will do for about 210 hrs. Just to graduate and come back 2 weeks later for your test.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Roadmaster!! I graduated yesterday 1-10-2023. I started school on 12-5-2022. The school manager Tommy love and take his job very serious and if you have any questions or even running behind let Tommy know he will work with you. The pad and road staff are phenomenal they all know about how to operate a truck safely and will teach you step by step how to do so. My instructor was Craig west, Craig was the best hands down he set a good foundation for me the first day of working with him. Craig taught me adjustment in my maneuvers and it stuck in my mind the rest of the time I was at Roadmaster! Time to go make some money!!!!

Fantastic experience: It was fun and very interesting. I liked the fact that everyone MUST be disciplined and serious minded. The administrator Mr. Tommy is very articulate and he has an extra-ordinary inviting personality. Claudia is opposite of Mr Tommy's personality. School should look closely and advice her wisely/rightly. The students are not babies, and they deserve some respect likewise. The instructors are super, KB did a great job with so much love, Anthony was fun and interesting, Creg is a guru, PTI master was supportive, Eric was friendly, jovial and a brother to all students, and Shannon was a nice guy but his appearance says otherwise until you get closer to him. All the instructors I came in contact with were exceptionally nice, except the ONLY lady among them. Many students felt the same way about her. School should look closely biko. Thank you guys. My recruiter is not left out, he checked on me at all times and he was the 2nd person to congratulate me after Mr. Tommy. I have given the School 5 star because I didn't see anymore Stars to add. From the bottom of my heart, I LOVE YOU GUYS

Everyone here wants to see you succeed from the recruiters, to admin, to the examiners & to the BEST trainers a CDL school can have. I can’t show enough gratitude. The trainers all want to see you do well and succeed TRUST IN THEIR STRATEGY AND FIND THE BEAT OF YOUR OWN DRUM IN THE PROCESS. Road Master is highly recommended and the students you train with will eventually feel like family. It feels good when everyone wants you to win! STUDY “CDL PREP” APP for Permit, before going to School. - You will barely have time to study while you’re in school. Many fail the first time because the lack of study time we have. I didn’t fail the first time because I studied for the Permit test before School. 2. Study Pre- Trip Inspection before you go to School. - This is not as important as #1 but You’ll save your self a lot of stress because you’ll learn quicker pass the inspection test with ease and early. - You want to learn how to park and drive as quickly as possible but before that you need to pass an inspection test evaluation. 3. Download MTS. Truck Driving Skills Stimulator video game. - This game helped me a lot before going school. Good luck

Negative experience: Horrible management. Tommy the school manager doesn’t care about what’s going on in the school as long they pushing students out the door even willing to give students the boot for speaking their minds and they charging 10k including 18% interest for everyone. First time on the road and my instructor knocked out like 20 times I felt comfortable driving but imagine if a new driver didn’t feel comfortable and gets in a accident and your instructor is knocked out The instructors that deserve to be on the road or on the pad. good luck. Fantastic experience: I enjoyed every bit of my experience at ROADMASTER! From the time I applied til a few days ago! First of all my advisor Samuel is so awesome & he made it do what it do for me to join the school. Mrs Kathy the office manager is so sweet she’s literally smiling every day and did whatever she could to help me. The school manager Tommy is strictly about his business. His main focus is making sure everyone is on time & making sure everyone graduate! He was good to me! ALL of my instructors were great & helpful in their own way. Trey was my PTI instructor he was so cool & taught me everything I needed to know about the truck. He made sure I knew my PTI before I moved on to maneuvers. Anthony helped me with maneuvers & made me feel great every time I finished a maneuver. He always told me good job & had faith in me. Craig made me look at everything different & made my maneuvers much easier! Craig & Anthony both made it fun on the pad while learning. It was never a dull moment with them both….. KB is so sweet he helped me polish up my maneuvers! NEEKO that’s my guy lol he was my main on the road instructor.. he taught me everything straight from the book. He also made me look at everything about driving different I even drive my own car different. He made me so more comfortable & not nervous at all. He made sure I did my in cab every time I drove so when I did test it was so easy! I only was on the road with Anthony once and it was great. Anthony also made me feel comfortable with driving & taught me things I didn’t know! ALAN is the examiner.. ppl say he looks mean lol but he’s really a sweetheart & strictly about business too. I can honestly say ROADMASTER is the best school around & their staff care about their students. You won’t regret it Thank you all again so much!! #CLASSOF18’

Fantastic experience: I have not studied or stressed this hard since I have been in college! However they say pressure builds diamonds so I am glad that I have made it through this path on my journey. Standing in the hot sun for 10 hours have tested my limits mentally and physically. I enjoyed the time here and I appreciate ALL the instructors for giving back to the new people coming into the industry. They have patience and are good at their jobs. They all need raises!

Negative experience: The instructor tom os bad and worst man he is on his phone all days in and he break 1 hour each break totally he is so bad guy and he is resist he don't like Afirican pepole i known hes afirican look i am class 32 and the other guy he is too class 32 both are afirican totally 2 person in class 32 are out of class because of him we don't have any problem ...

I really had to buckle down and study the material given and Steve our class instructor made sure we had what’s needed The Instructors on the pad can teach you so much ,the rest is up to you. Fantastic experience: I worked the most with Anthony, who worked a lot with me on the skill maneuvers, always had a positive attitude. Niko's tip about turning away from the reference cone helped me start doing the offset maneuver consistently. Jim and Ethan helped me fix gaps with my straight backing. Anthony and Jim helped me a lot to learn the parallel maneuver. Terry and Jim are great road trainers, and Terry stressed the importance of constantly checking traffic, and checking my front trailer tire by the apex of the curb. I am grateful to have had great, patient trainers, and good classmates that shared tips to help me get my cdl license.

Fantastic experience: My experience here was pretty great. In my honest opinion you won't find a better classroom teacher on the planet than Steve. The instructors at your disposal are a huge positive for this school. Not only do they know how to do the skills and maneuvers they also know how to convey the information to a diverse group of students. If you want to EARN a cdl look no further. Just keep in mind you get out what you put in. You can't climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets now. You will learn very quickly this is no cdl mill. You either put in the work or you go home empty handed. It's honestly up to you. Special props to Anthony for really helping me grind the maneuvers and understand how to fix them. Also big shout out to Jim and Ethan for helping polish up my skills. Shoutout to nicko for going the extra mile for me with pti and helping me stay fresh for the test.

Fantastic experience: I found Roadmaster driving school after researching many truck companies and schools that just did not quite have either a good rep or enough positive reviews. I finished the program with no issues , the staff and trainers are the best in my opinion. Bria and Mrs Kathy made in boarding super easy and welcoming. Steve, Niko, Ethan, Terry, Tommy and Anthony all are top notch trainers. They made passing a breeze. All I had to do was pay attention. They will make sure that you understand what you need to know not only to pass but give you knowledge to take with you in the road. Thanks Roadmaster for the amazing experience!

Fantastic experience: I had a great time a Roadmaster. The stuff and instructors are very helpful. The knowledge that they bring makes it easy for students like me to gain the basic entry level skills needed to be successful, safe drivers

Fantastic experience: Roadmaster is good school Nikko , Steve, Jim terri, Bill, Stacy from San Antonio, and Mrs Cathy all were the best. Learn alot from these nice people. Only thing was it took a little longer due to covid stuff , but finally graduated and got outa there. Now I'm on to bigger things. Since then they are back on track and everything is running smoothly. Nikko good pti instructor along with skills too.

Fantastic experience: Good evening I am considering studying with you but my fear is that my English is not 100% very good because I speak more Spanish if I understand many things and I can speak only the promises is that I do not know how to write in English could you help me to get my CDL Or could I not enter the school because of my language, which is Spanish, the main one, can someone from Roadmaster help me?

Fantastic experience: This school is not a CDL mill. The instructors are professional and courteous. When you complete this course you will have EARNED the CDL.

Positive experience: First, the school was short 3 instructors when I started on the 19th of Oct, but it only took me 2 extra weeks to test out. As of my graduation date 11/20 they have had instructors come in from other schools to assist in class. As for the instructors, in my opinion most are some of the best instructors I've had in my job history. Nico, Jim, Bill and Ethan are superb. If your someone who strives to do the best you can, these 4 instructors are the ones that will answer any/all questions you can ask. I would recommend this school to anyone that's asks me. Just remember you get out of it what you put into it. The instructors are not teachers, they merely give you the knowledge, it's up to you to apply it and learn from your mistakes and build on it.
