Fantastic experience: My overall experience of this establishment is a 10/10. The staff working here is more than friendly and more than capable of teaching you the proper protocols to driving in a safe manner. I would definitely recommend others to this school and will not soon forget the wonderful people who helped me achieve this goal!!

Negative experience: Si pudiera poner menos calificación, con gusto lo haría. Fui porque tenía necesitaba el servicio para que me llevarán al DMV para hacer mi examen y me atendió el señor Eric, al principio amable luego comenzó a contarme su historia (mi mente y a mi que me interesa si esta divorciado y busca novia). En el proceso el señor me gritaba y yo quería preguntarle algo y me gritaba cállate, callate escúchame. Uno llega para solicitar apoyo ya sea por el vehículo, como fue mi caso, por lo q deberian de decirle a los instructores que se limiten a enseñar no a contar sobre sus vidas. Creo que por educación uno escucha pero cuando me tope con que queria preguntar el solo decia callate aqui el que enseña soy yo, ahi toca decirles ok enseñeme y dejeme de hablar de si vida.y fue la situación más nefasta que pude haber tenido. Hubo un momento que me grito y estuve a punto de bajarme pero le grite de la misma manera yo que era una persona grosera y q estaba faltando al respeto. El se disculpo 5 segundo más tarde me estaba gritando que me estacionada a 3 y yooo quizás dice q a tres tiempos o en 3 movimientos y yo iba a 5 m/h y el freno y me dijo TE DIJE A 3.. a lo que grite usted no dijo q me estacionada a 3 m/h. Tengo varios años de manejar y como le dije a el, solo lo necesito para mi examen. Pero el fue una persona a la que NOOOO RECOMENDARÍA POR NADA DEL MUNDO.. cuando llegamos a la prueba el actuando como que nada. Es una persona bipolar. Yo iba muy molesta por lo que había pasado con el. Le pedí a Dios serenidad y efectivamente hice mi examen lo pase y no tuve ningún problema. Cuando le entregue las llaves de su carro me dijo recomiendame me dijo a lo que conteste NO CREO.. Asiq en lo personal el , no se si los demás instructores de esta escuela son así, pero Eric. Es grosero, griton, nefasto y CERO COMENDADO.

Fantastic experience: I had a GREAT experience at Lincoln Park driving school . I decided to go with the 4hrs + test package, which was very affordable as well. Michelle was incredibly patient, kind and supportive throughout both classes. Not once did she made me doubt my driving . She helped me improve my driving skills and feel confident. As per Janet , who was my instructor prior to my test . She was wonderful. We did a quick last drive to go over the things I had previously learned from Michelle . She pretty much went over everything the examiner was going to ask. I was so nervous , but was able to pass on my very first try. Thank you everyone! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my instructor. I did have the 6 hour plan and the test. I did have a tiny bit of driving experience from practicing pre covid but the driving school helped me strengthen my skills and be as prepared as possible. I did pass on my first try!

Fantastic experience: Lovely instructors, Michelle & Janet were so understanding & supportive, & gave me great tips for solidifying my driving skill. They were really patient & kind. Maybe I’ll schedule another class with them just to hang out with them again, even though I’ve already passed.

Fantastic experience: I tried to get my driver’s license for a WHILE, but couldn’t get over my driving anxiety. Then I met Johnson Jr. He is a fabulous instructor. Not only did he help me improve my driving skills, but also helped me get the confidence to feel comfortable behind the wheel. He is patient and broke up the steps in a helpful way. I PASSED my behind the wheel test on my first try at the Lincoln Park DMV. Shout out to Jeanette too; she was my instructor the day of the exam and her demeanor really helped calm down the nerves.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are some of the nicest people I've met and their training is rigorous, but in all the right ways. I had no idea how to make proper turns or which way to look when switching lanes. I was a mess. But after only 6 total hours (3classes) of driving here I couldn't be more confident in my ability to drive safely and smoothly.

My primary instructor Johnson Sr. demonstrated an unparalleled knowledge of level of professionalism throughout the training. His teaching method was thorough and effective, making me comfortable behind the wheel and instilling the confidence I needed as a new driver. Additionally, I had the opportunity to have a refresher session with Johnson Jr. just before my behind-the-wheel-test. His approach was calming and reassuring. His quick but comprehensive review was instrumental in helping me pass the test. Overall, I highly recommend this driving school to anyone who may feel apprehensive about driving or seeks to improve their driving skills. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about their students' success.

My instructor (Janet) was a very helpful and kind teacher always giving the right points of instruction and keeping me engaged. Ultimately I’m a much more confident driver because of this driving school.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test on the first try with only three mistakes. Jhonson Jr. gave me my first driving lesson, building up my confidence. Jeanette gave me the next two before the actual test. She's very professional and extremely smart, let her do her job and you won't fail. You won't have any regrets!

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. Mr Johnson(apparently the owner) is rude and impatient. When you want to start learning how to drive you need someone with patience and someone to explain. Well Mr Johnson is not the right person. He kept saying racist words referring to Asians on the road, yelling at the student and making her feel scared.we asked for those 2 hrs that we practiced with him to be made up with another instructor and of course he said no because I mean he's the owner and would never say yes he said he's a good instructor and the way he teaches is the way to go. But anyway I would never refer someone to this school.

Fantastic experience: The Driving Instructor I was provided showed an excellence in communication and teaching skills as well as notifies you on your accomplishments behind the wheel. Definitely learned a lot and gained alot of knowledge about driving.

Negative experience: Jeanette was an awesome instructor and very patient, informative and encouraging with someone who has little to no experience with driving and has been in a traumatic accident before. Johnson Sr. on the other hand was very rude and impatient even made rude comments if i made mistakes even had me drive to a gas station and put gas in the car and called me "juevon" for not knowing how to open the gas tank and filling in the gas tank. Johnson Sr was also constantly spitting phlegm out of the car which was an unpleasant sound throughout and was on phone calls during the lesson from time to time. i cannot stress out how many times Johnson was grabbing my hands aggressively and pretty much driving for me and would raise his voice loud if i made mistakes such as doing turn overs and making left or right turns. For someone who is new to driving and has 0 to no driving experience i cannot recommend this place due to just that experience. My 2 hour traffic driving lesson with Johnson Sr was very uncomfortable. .(Please go in with caution if you are looking to take lessons here.)

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Johnson JR. I had zero experience prior and he still taught me how to drive in 6hours (2hours a day for 3 days within 1 week). I got my license my first attempt! He’s a very genuine and extremely patient person, everything you need in a driving instructor. I am super grateful for him!

Negative experience: Do not recommend. Horrible service. The receptionist yelled at me when they made an error and never apologized. They wrote the wrong name in the driving certificate and as a result the dmv cancelled our appointment.

Positive experience: I decided to get a driving instructor last minute and after a long time of looking and calling for last minute bookings, Lincoln drive and traffic school was happy to help. All the staff was super friendly. Julia helped me at the front desk and gladly answered all the questions my mom and I had. My driving instructor, Bennie was super nice and patient and gave useful info I didn’t know before. He prepared me completely until the moment of my test. With the help of Bennie and Julia at Lincoln drive and traffic school and my driving test instructor Elizabeth I passed my driving test. Thank you guys so much!!!
