Fantastic experience: I recently had the opportunity to take my driving test with Marat , and it was, hands down, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a learning environment. From the moment the test began, Marat exuded a sense of professionalism and calm that immediately put me at ease. Driving tests can be nerve-wracking, but Murtat’s friendly approach and reassuring attitude made all the difference. One of the standout qualities Marat possesses is his ability to communicate instructions with absolute clarity. Whether it was a turn, a lane change, or navigating through complex intersections, his guidance was precise and easy to follow. He ensured that I fully understood what was required at each stage, which helped eliminate any confusion and allowed me to focus entirely on my driving. What truly sets Marat apart is his exceptional patience and supportive demeanor. Fantastic experience: Excellent place, professional, courteous, helpful... Clean and interestingly appropriate decorations. Happy people are happy to help customers! Melissa and Andrew were great! On a higher level, the WA system on driver's licensing and vehicle registration seems far more efficient than OR and especially CA systems. I think it's the privatization that puts accountability and profitability into focus!

He was great, patient and explained things clearly , pointed out mistakes multiple times which helped with the test. I took 5 classes and did not schedule them back to back. Took it over two weeks and practiced in parking lots which was super useful. And if you can stick with the same instructor throughout which helps with consistency

Fantastic experience: 1. I took the knowledge test there, I was failed 2x I retried the same day. When I came back the other week, I finally passed. The knowledge test setting in my opinion wasn’t really quiet. You gotta need to expect other visitors including babies surrounding, people chatting and other sounds such as keyboard typing or phone rings. But, overall everything was ok and staff members were nice 2. I took 2 classes + warm up + test and I had a great experience. Mr. Alexey my teacher, he was really good in explaining things and to the point. He didn’t really sugarcoating my driving skills and honest with what I could improve! He made things simple and easy! The result was I passed the test in one go. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this driving school. I took the tests in June 2024. All the staff are polite and try to help in any difficult situation. My wife recently took tests at this same driving school. My wife has almost no English, but the driving school staff did everything so that this could not hinder her. We are delighted with the 911 driving school in Redmond. And soon our son will go to take tests at this school. From our whole family, we thank you very much.

Negative experience: Very bad attitude towards clients who paid for the exam. They put me on a driving license and talked about it. My English is not very good, but I understood Not everything, but I understood as a result they kicked me out of the car and did not return the money. Very bad service. Therefore, if you don’t know English, then don’t go there.

Positive experience: very nice and quick way to get license. only complaint is that i think i still have 1-2 drives left in my account and they're not the best at communicating this information. but i hardly care, it's not like i can get that money back...

Negative experience: My experience during the driving test was quite disturbing. The person next to me displayed a constantly irritable and aggressive attitude. Instead of understanding the difficulties I faced due to my language deficiency, he treated me with a demeaning attitude, making the test process even more challenging. Such behavior had a negative impact on my test experience. When I reminded him that I needed assistance due to my language deficiency, he shouted at me and further belittled me. This experience was very saddening and significantly dampened my spirits. Even when I started driving, I couldn't feel any joy as his demeanor kept me under constant stress. Despite addressing him respectfully throughout the journey, he didn't change his attitude. However, the authorized woman inside was very kind. If I were to describe this irritable instructor, I would say he had a quite round face and was approximately between 60-65 years old. After this negative experience, which made it difficult for me to focus on driving, I believe the person accompanying me should have been a bit more cheerful. While I understand that exam stress is challenging for everyone, being a bit more cheerful rather than constantly stressing people out would have been more constructive. Yes, I might not have passed the test, which is a normal situation. However, my concern lies with his excessively high ego and his disregard for others. I hope he reconsiders his attitude and adopts a more understanding approach. In conclusion, I believe such negative experiences can diminish people's interest in driving. To prevent others from experiencing similar situations, I strongly advise against working with an instructor like him. I believe instructors should not only teach technical skills but also show respect, understanding, and support to their students. This way, students can learn not only how to drive but also important values like empathy and respect.And to conclude, this is my first review on Google because since encountering that person, I've been feeling down and lost my desire to drive. Fantastic experience: As a mid life adult with zero experience in driving, I bought a 10-lesson package with the school which came with a free road test. I did my knowledge test first super easily because 911 allows for walk in knowledge tests. I've had lessons with Mike, JR, Jeremy and Michael throughout the last 2-3 weeks, and it was super interesting to see how each of them had their own ways of teaching and had their own focus on what to be extra observant about. I passed my road test yesterday on the first try. I scheduled my last lesson right before the test and that helped me warm up perfectly for the road test. Highly recommend doing that. I also want to shout out Marlene and Melissa who are the admins of the branch. They've helped me with all the scheduling and were super nice all throughout (along with all the instructors). If you're reading this because you're considering enrolling here, I can't recommend them highly enough!!

Positive experience: I’ve had a great experience taking the road test here, and it’s really a pleasure to work with instructor Hughes. The missing star is due to this school not allowing the students to select the available time slots by themselves after making the payment; instead, everyone has to either call about 2 weeks ahead or come there in person to be manually registered. There’s little to complain about it otherwise.

Fantastic experience: Marilyn and Huse are awesome! I did my written test, driving lessons, and driving test – all at 911 Redmond and it was the smoothest of experiences. Marilyn is extremely clear in communicating the options, works diligently to accommodate our scheduling constraints, and is also polite & encouraging (I had to retake the written test for a second time.) Huse is the gentle giant who is extremely crisp in teaching the rules on the road, patient as we learn, and equally reassuring to calm any nerves. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will strongly recommend 911 Redmond!

I did not have any confidence in myself while beginning the driving classes, but I was able to successfully pass my driving test and get the driver's licence. Fantastic experience: Overall, I would give them 5 stars. I had issues and hiccups along the way, but they were great. The customer service and employees were awesome and responded to me every time within 24 hrs either via email or phone call. They are super busy and it is tough booking a driving appointment, but you will have to check back each week as the instructors update their schedules constantly. My only issue was one particular instructor that my son got on 2 different occasions. He didn't pass the first two times with this instructor, which was fine. My issue with him was that my son was never disclosed the scores or results of the driving test. He was just told he failed, without going into any details. So, he just repeated the same mistake the next week. I personally called and spoke with the representative and she told me exactly what he did wrong on both exams. We practiced those areas, and he passed the 3rd time easily. So, my recommendation is to spend time with the instructor after the driving test and ask what you did wrong and what you should have done. I feel if the instructor would have done that, instead of going from one driving test to another, I wouldn't have had to pay for 2 additional driving test. Overall, a great experience for my twins and myself. I would go there again if needed, but luckily, all my kids are driving. Good luck to all!

Negative experience: I guarantee you’ll fail your first knowledge test here. When I walked in the first time, I was asked if I wanted to see what I got last time. I said I had never taken the test before. It striked me as weird that they automatically assumed I’d already taken the test, which means that most of their customers fail and have to repeat What’s more, they claim they can’t show you your test results. So you have absolutely no way of verifying whether you actually passed or not. You just have to take their word for it. This lack of transparency is very sketchy. And even while taking the test, you won’t get any quiet. You’ll hear every phone call, customer, and conversation going on because they don’t put you in a separate room so you can focus. They really need to improve on this and also show the test results!

Negative experience: My husband just died and I needed to learn how to drive I talked with one of their employees and they told me that even though I’m 22 that I should take the teen course due to my lack of experience. So I signed up and paid them 600$ and they called me later to tell me that I CANT take the course I paid for . And they refused to work with me and hung up on me without refunding my money. Don’t bother working with them they just care about stealing from widows. They will also call you a liar instead of taking accountability for their mistakes. They will just lie to you and waste your time. This is how they treat spouses of deceased military members.

Negative experience: Went there for a driving test. not worth to pay for driving test without being part of their customer base or having the warm up session. some dude was in the mood of "let me fail you in 1 min without a clear reason and i return to whatever i was doing waiting for the caffeine to kick in so that i can be a human"

Fantastic experience: This is a good school. Hughes is an amazing instructor. He's calm, quite observant, encourages by pointing out the good things you do while motivates you to do better on the things to improve. All of his suggestions are helpful.

Negative experience: This was my second time when I gave my road test. The instructor was a little aggigated already I guess because the office people forgot to put me into his schedule. He was the same instructor who took my first exam. Inhave been driving from past 5 years and with gods grace have never faced any incident on road. This guy give different excuses and fails me each and everytime. For the firat exam when he failed I argued nothing for the result, but this time I put my points and told him what I didn’t do hut yes he had to fail me so he did. I guess its just way of mking money because at the end to get the license I will have to come back again for the exam. And plss dont say like in your every other comment that its frustrating for us to not clear the exam. No, it is ok to fail, I can guve the exam again, multiple times. Its just the instructor didnt have valid reasons to fail me. And when I counter questioned he just had no answers. Also, don’t tell me that I should have come to the pffoce and informed because you would not defend me and question your instructor.

Positive experience: Instructors are good. Harold was great! Specifically, he was able to break down parallel parking to basics rather than teaching a complicated set of instructions. One star deducted for a class which was canceled when an instructor didn't show up.

Fantastic experience: I took 10 adult driving classes here in January 2023 along with a road test that I passed on the first try. I also took my permit test here that they offer walk-in basis. I had different instructors for most classes and the instructors were great, reassuring, and taught me everything I needed to know about driving. Special mention to Hughes who really made me feel confident and calm while driving. One of the instructors also did a mock-driving test the last class before my road test to point out my mistakes and what to avoid. The road test lasted <20 mins, the instructor gave clear instructions, did not make me anxious, and did not talk much outside of just the instructions. I knew him from my previous classes already, so it helped me feel at ease. A typical and straightforward road test. It was quite easy to schedule classes, and they had great availability daily. I paid in advance online then phone called to schedule the lessons. I will be going back to them for a couple additional freeway driving lessons. When I looked up this driving school in Jan 2023, they had great reviews. Not sure why they dropped :(

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with the driving test, I have been driving a car since years in a different country and I am not a bad driver to fail a test. The guy who took the test, blonde thin hair about 5’7” in height, was super rude, raised his voice and made me very nervous. He was constantly agitated and kept behaving rudely. We pay money for the test NOT TO BE TREATED the way he treats people. I met the best people when I had gone there for the knowledge test but didn’t expect to have such an experience while giving the driving test. Failing is not my problem, it did upset me, but we all fail at different things, and do learn from failures. Paying for the test doesn’t ensure passing the test, but the least we expect is “good behaviour” which certainly was not what I got.

Fantastic experience: I have had wonderful end to end experience with 911 driving school, Redmond. The whole staff including Marlene, Melissa are super friendly and getting your calls and emails returned is guaranteed here. They are definitely not out there to make extra money. Purpose of instructions such as Hughes at this driving school is to truly enable people to drive safe. He had been so patient and gave me some great tips to drive safe. To anybody who is looking to get driving lessons or to take a road test, I highly recommend to go for 911 driving school at Redmond, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Being a beginner in driving lessons, I was really impressed with the 911 driving school . their instructors are really good and patient with us, the new drivers and the office staff is also wonderful. They will really help you be the best drivers . My driving test was also really smooth . I took the warmup session with on road test . They will point out all the mistakes in the warm up , that will really help on the road test. Highly recommend for anyone looking for driving class :)

Positive experience: The instruction was good, but scheduling drives is a nightmare that requires you to be on the site constantly, refreshing the page, waiting for something to open up. It's taken us more than six months to find a non-school-hours opening to do four drives and I'm about to get locked out (again) without being able to schedule the fifth drive I paid for because there isn't enough availability.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE! I’m don’t get me wrong I passed my knowledge and drivers all of the instructors were nice except one. I forget his name but he had dirty blonde very thin hair. He was white and a bit chubby. And was probably like 5,7 and had a little bit of an accent and smelled like wet dog. This is literally the best description I can give I apologize. During my drivers test he was making passive aggressive comments and had an attitude he also just had a bad energy overall and raised his voice at me. He was also confusing during the drive. Maybe it’s just me because I have adhd but the way how he was talking and his voice volume was just not clear. It could be the slight accent that he had or the fact that he maybe didn’t speak clearly. It made me nervous but I managed to pass. Price wise is not good. I paid for the enhanced teen drivers course and was promised 5 hours of driver lessons. I only got 40 minutes and did get those 5 drives. Another thing is the simulated driving. ITS NOT WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE! the student doesn’t get their own time to actually learn. What they do is play a dvd for the entire class room (my class had about 20-30 kids I think, I just remember it being a lot of kids; like an average high school class) and they let every kid go once for the amount of times that you paid for. They did that in front of every kid. All that I can say was that the secretaries were incredibly sweet and kind. And the only instructor that seemed nice and valued time was Mike. This school is a scam. If you still wanna go ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF! Speak up if you see that they arent doing something THAT YOU PAID FOR! but trust that there are better schools than 911 driving school that offer cheaper and better offers than this. EDIT RESPONSE TO BUSINESS: fyi, I was just describing someone and not once did I mention my driving ability. Just talked about my honest review. Hire people who have good hygiene. Another thing is that although I did learn a little that doesn’t mean it was a good experience. I’m posting an honest review and because of that I feel like it shouldn’t be disrespected by your passive aggressive comments. This just shows how unprofessional your business is. My one star is because you’re basically running a scam. Be honest if you’re gonna go by state laws. Don’t say it’s gonna be an hour when it’s not an hour. If everything had gone well in your class I should’ve been able to immediately take my knowledge test but no I did not because I felt unprepared since your classes weren’t very helpful besides just going through the basic information. Like I said I’m just here posing a review. Don’t get offended, instead be the standards that people are paying for. Also I forgot to mention they overbook classrooms and made kids transfer to another class at a different time because they didn’t plan things correctly. Yes I am going to be getting my license but for the amount I paid for I should’ve gotten something better. Just because something is required by state law doesn’t mean you gotta do the bare minimum. They also said that we get to do a 1 hour drive observation? Yeah so I never got that. And your instructors are supposed to not make us feel more nervous than what we are already feeling, yes I passed my drivers test but your instructor should’ve done a better job at not raising his voice and at not being so confusing, I literally almost failed cause he couldn’t explain or speak clearer. DO BETTER!

Negative experience: I was astonished with my road test. My first impression of my tester was his indifferent, lazy attitude when he entered and nearly flashed the room as he bent over to grab a clipboard. He gave me a weird look and acted rude as I tried to make conversation before I began my test, and then proceeded to direct me to an obscure, winding neighborhood (after being told that I would be driving solely on city streets over the phone). He made me drive backwards about 50 feet down a street against a curb, deducted points for driving over worn out white paint that wasn't visible, and directed me to a 45+ degree downward slope (immediately after a turn so I couldn't see it coming) which he proceeded to fail me on for speeding. He also deducted points for looking over the wrong shoulder while reversing, although I looked over both. After my test, very condescending as he told me the points he deducted. Genuinely, it seemed like he was enjoying failing me. The only reason I'm giving it a second star is because the scheduling staff was helpful, and the written test was pretty pain-free. But if you're looking to take a driving test under fair circumstances, look elsewhere. Edit: lowering to 1 star as the owner seems to have a long record of making excuses for/not addressing this particular instructor's rudeness as I read previous reviews.

Negative experience: I enrolled my daughter to one of their classes. Shortly before it was supposed to start, they just cancelled it. Tried to call them several times to ask about other options but they never answered the phone or returned any of my calls. I'd recommend looking for other options, these people don't care.

Negative experience: They over recruit students. Severely understaffed. They hold you hostage to their scheduling and delay license for an unknown amount of time. Insurance companies charge you a load while waiting for license. Weird arrangement and hope they learn. Look for other driver’s Ed.

Here I took some learning lessons with chris and julie reiman they very extremely super instructors with lots of patience. Chris gave me lots of hope and tips to clear my road test. Also special thanks to him for teaching me the parallel parking which I thought it was tough, but it was very easy after he taught me. Finally I would like to thank my road test examiner Zaheer,he is also good and gave me very clear instructions and guided me well in my road test. Thats how I cleared my road test. Thanks a lot once again.

Negative experience: My examiner rushed me a lot during my test like he literally made me so anxious unnecessarily which led to a ton of mistakes. You’re better off going to defensive driving school just about 2 mins from them. Better cars. Better teachers. Overall better experience.

Fantastic experience: I gave my knowledge test and road test here. Both were pretty smooth and straight forward. All the instructors and the people at the reception desk are friendly and provide great service. Overall a very smooth experience.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my 5 adult driving lessons and it was all in all a very good experience. I have to give special thanks to Mike & Jeff, Kyna for providing me with conducive lessons that helped me passed my exam. On the exam day, Cory was my tester and even though I was very nervous, he was able to assure me and guide me through my warm up. He made the entire test stress free. I highly recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: I purchased the Advanced Teen Package for my son and he really enjoyed the drives with the instructor, Brady. I paid for him to take the class portion online, 5 drives & then the road/written tests. I allowed him to take his time to do his drives and it worked out that he turned 16 right in the middle of it. You do have to be 15.5. This is definitely an independent driving school where if you want to be involved in every step you're really not. I literally paid & scheduled & let my teen do the rest. I did approach Brady once & he gave me feedback on my sons driving when asked. Now onto the knowledge & driving portion. Thanks for being a local school!

He is a very good instructor, friendly and teaches all driving techniques with a lot of patience. Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test yesterday on 01/27/22. My instructor was DEUTSCH, Jeff and he was amazing. He clearly mentioned all instructions before we started test and encouraged me to ask questions in case of I had any. That opened communication channel which made me feel less anxious. Also he advised me to follow SMOG (Signal, Mirror, Over the Shoulder and Go) approach, that helped lot. I highly recommend 9-1-1 school for driving lessons and road test.

Fantastic experience: Let me just begin by saying "911" Driving School has one of the best driving instructors "LIAM" he is hands down the best he was very patient with me and very relaxed even though I was anxious to say the least he gave me peace of mind and great encouragement he was mannerable, polite, and very courteous i HIGHLY recommend "LIAM" for any one in the Washington area wanting their drivers licence or just wanting to brush up on their driving skills you wont be disappointed.

Having just moved to Washington from Massachusetts this week, I was able to take the knowledge exam and driving exam in the same day without any hassle. Fantastic experience: 10 years ago I have been in an accident (I was not driving, my friend was), after that incident I struggled really hard to drive. I used to get all sweaty when I hold the steering.. since 2 years I have taken several classes from different instructors. I did learn to drive but those classes did not help me with my confidence. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with 9-1-1 driving school of Redmond. I took in car lessons and my driving test here and everything went smoothly. The staff is friendly, thoroughly helped in scheduling lessons. I got a chance to learn from Barret, Nick and Kyna. All 3 of them are super friendly and excellent instructors. They made my learning experience fun and less stressful. Finally, I took my skill test with Liam, passed in first attempt. I took half an hour warm up session before the test. He explained where I could loose marks and made me super comfortable. Really appreciate his approach. Overall an amazing learning experience. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Always learn from this place….I would say if you really want to learn with rules and laws this is the place. All the instructors are really good. Kyna was my first instructor. She gave me confidence on wheels. Jason,Jeff and cory all other explains and trains really very well.Liam teaches you with the drawings where you can improve.
