Fantastic experience: My instructor was Ms. Khan, and I had a wonderful experience! Her teaching method is very easy to follow, and if you have any questions she will thoroughly answer them for you. As a face paced learner myself, I found her instruction to be quite a breeze to follow. Her emphasis on following instructions is amazing, ensuring that everyone in the classroom has a fair opportunity to learn in a adequate environment. She is extremely patient and lenient towards those who may not follow directions when asked. She continuously provides opportunities to improve behavior and performance. In my previous driving school my instructors where so impatient and often getting aggravated with my lack of knowledge behind the wheel, so being able to participate in a class with this form of instruction was a blessing. I highly recommend note taking or screenshotting slides throughout the course to look back as a review for the final exam. With Ms. Khan's teaching style, I passed my final exam with a 50/50, with all of my quizzes (unit 1-9) scoring a 10/10. Thank you so much Ms. Khan! Can't wait to get my license!

Fantastic experience: The in-class part was very thorough and I learned a lot. Ms. Khan was an excellent instructor and is very knowledgeable and really cares about her students knowing the correct information and passing. As others have mentioned, she makes you participate but it's for your own good to make sure you're paying attention and getting all the information. If you pay attention and take notes like she tells you to, you are guaranteed to pass all the quizzes and the final. I would definitely recommend Royal Driving School to others.

Fantastic experience: I came here as a 31 year old who hadn't finished the process of getting my license in 17 years. Due to the fact that my father was failing in health I knew I had to follow through with finally getting it. Not only did they help me become a better driver they prepared me very well and gave solid advice when it came time to take the driving test at the DMV. Sadly, my father passed away before seeing me get my license, but I was able to pass the test in his SUV, which is normally a hard thing to do for first time drivers. I highly recommend this place for older drivers getting their license and I am forever grateful to Ms. Tina, Prince & Mr. Henri. Thanks again guys!

Fantastic experience: I took the behind the wheel course for a week with Mohammad. It was a great learning experience and now I’m more confident to drive, and got my driving license.

Negative experience: I have been calling them for weeks to reschedule my last two classes and no one ever calls back! I already paid my entire fee. On top of that I was sent an email to take down my review, which I would have gladly done if they had not threatened to refund me. I called the school today and spoke with a young lady who instead of her trying to assist me in correcting my scheduled dates, she actually blamed me for her misunderstanding!

Fantastic experience: I had a very very pleasant experience with all the instructors. I attended class virtually and my instructor was great. It has helped me to become a better driver and more confident in what I’m doing when driving. Mr. Carlos was a great instructor when it comes to behind the wheel teaching. He’s very informative, patient, professional, and makes sure you know exactly what you need to know in order to pass and everything you need to do in order to pass your test at the mva. I guarantee you that you will not be disappointed and you won’t waste your time money or energy into this school. The staff are very pleasant and I really enjoyed how professional each staff is and how welcome I felt when I spoke with Mrs Tina and when I met her in person. Thank you for helping me if you want to pass go to royal driving school I went to the one on Belair rd. UPDATE you guys I went to take my behind the wheel test at the Essex Mva ON MAY 28th,2024 and I passed on the 1st attempt. I’m super super proud of myself but I couldn’t have done it without every instructor I was able to learn from. They literally give you the answers in class to pass each test after class and to pass the exam. If you fail any of those test including your btw test at the mva it’s because you didn’t pay attention you didn’t take proper notes and or you missed too many classes. I’d say the only reason you may not pass the btw test is because of your nerves . Just take a deep breathe relax clear your mind and drive naturally make sure to stop behind the stop sign wait 3 seconds count out loud if you feel that helps then proceed if no other cars are coming. You will be successful hope this helps

Information came clear, everything well explained, the most important things were always highlighted, we always had reviews after each unit and a comprehensive general review at the end. The rules of the classroom were always followed with Ms Khan and I loved that. If you want to learn and be sure to pass, take the morning class!

Negative experience: The online portion was fine, but there was a significant backlog for behind the wheel sessions and they cancelled my session without any warning or notification.

Positive experience: Classes and behind the wheel lessons are great but responsive to emails are horrible. On the website all lessons will be booked but will actually be open if u call. It took me 2 weeks to schedule one lesson because they wouldn’t answer the phone.

Fantastic experience: There are somethings I don't like about the virtual schooling experience that could be better but all in all it was great. My teacher Ms. Khan is the real MVP. she made sure we knew everything before leaving. I did a night make up with a different teacher. I was so lost without Ms. Khan I told myself I'd never miss her morning classes again and I didn't. Thanks to her I passed. If u get in her class be ready your participation is required and don't be slipping.

Fantastic experience: When I first started the driver's education, I did not expect to have such a nice instructor. Instructor Khan got to the point fast but also went back on certain information. She gave us important notes to write and her teaching methods have allowed me and many others to easily remember most if not all information she taught. I was very lucky to have her and I couldn't be more thankful.
